gross misrepresentation of the "heart"

purchased a year after the take over. very few of promised services have realized. I did not purchase a lifetime account from OC or SS.

The cloud fetch has always worked consistently for me

but this is low value for forty bucks since there is no reliable FTP to elsewhere and no shareable url for other service to grab

they appear to ignore the github account they inherited after their "heartfelt" appeal

I am entirely happy with TorBox.app by contrast for three times the cost

Scammers!!! They replaced my LIFETIME premium account

I purchased a lifetime premium account, for only a few months later to be moved to "a new and improved website" and given a 1 year free premium.
Now my account instead of being a lifetime premium, is valid only for 1 year, even though I bought a lifetime premium licence.

I want a full refund now!

They changed all lifetime users to…

They changed all lifetime users to yearly plan, they should instead keep the lifetime users, but with limited resources, like instead of 100gb monthly, just 15gb and remote upload, so it won't cost them storage, but many companies rebrand, or find any excuse, to get rid of lifetime users when they are no longer needed.

Offcloud is one of them, so good luck trying to find users. I'll change this review if they decide to honour their agreement to the lifetime users.

Most likely in a year or two we'll see new lifetime account offers, when no new users come in due to their dishonesty, but won't be called lifetime, they'll call them "special account" or something like this, so they can generate revenue, until they decide that the new "special accounts" are no longer needed and rinse and repeat.

Dishonest Company

I bought a "lifetime" sub from them on stacksocial and I almost wouldn't mind that they have now gone back on it, because for a quality 3 or 4 years of service, in my case, it still might have been acceptable. But no, it never worked as it was intended to, and made me so much appreciate all the rival debrid services who all work flawlessly. With offcloud, I could literally watch one or two things on stremio, then would need to manually delete all files off their settings for anything to work again. Also, IP addresses would gather en-mass from a single link and these also would also all need to be deleted before there was a chance of a few links playing again. I could maybe accumulate up to 15 IP addresses after a few clicks on links and these would all need to be manually deleted one at a time. That was when I was lucky, most links just wouldnt play in general and threw up an error. I would spend more time on the offcloud settings than actually watching anything! On top, if you cached a torrent to download, the old fashioned way, they could literally take weeks to download! Just a God awful experience in every way and the worst purchase I ever made of anything in truth. Scam is a big word but could be applied here. To pay for something that virtually never worked and now they have shafted customers on top. Incredible really.

Their advertised features don't work

It used to be a decent secondary option at a $39.99 lifetime price. Occasional breakdowns, limited cache, slow downloads, and bugs were tolerable. Now they’ve sold the company, and the new version is even more buggy. Advertised features don’t work, and even the API is broken. Yet they’re charging premium prices and have increased the cost.

Even worse, they discontinued all lifetime accounts they had sold just weeks earlier and replaced them with a one-year plan, despite the service not being ready.

Stay away from this service—there are plenty of cheaper and better alternatives.

Not really a trustworthy company

Like a lot of other people here, I feel scammed by this company. They claim the previous owners have sold the product and domain and because the last person on the team that knew the code base had also decided to leave, they had to build a new product. And so they feel like they no longer honor have to the lifetime deals that were bought for the "old" product.

A big middle finger to their customers

They converted a lifetime membership to a yearly with a lame excuse. On top of that the functionality is worse, with lower usage limits. Complete rip off exit scam to take as many lifetime subscriptions and not honor them. Completely lost all my trust.

Offcloud, Stay Away! No trust!

I'm incredibly disappointed with Offcloud and honestly feel scammed. I bought a lifetime subscription through Stacksocial, but it's been a nightmare since day one. The service is painfully slow when it works at all - I've literally waited days for files under 10GB to download, which is ridiculous.

From what I've heard, they apparently throttled all lifetime accounts to prioritize bandwidth for monthly subscribers. Looking back, the whole "lifetime" deal feels like it was just a quick cash grab with no intention of actually delivering on the promise.

To make matters worse, they recently redesigned their website and basically cancelled all lifetime memberships. They converted them to one-year premium accounts instead, which still perform terribly. Their excuse? They claim the original owner died and the new management decided not to honor the lifetime deals. Honestly, I'm skeptical - this seems like a convenient way to dump lifetime subscribers without admitting they just don't want to support us anymore.

Save yourself the headache and avoid this service completely. There are much better alternatives out there that actually deliver what they promise.

Service still active but Lifetime converted to Premium

I purchased this service during their last Lifetime StackSocial sale in October 2025. Today in January 2026, they claim that a member of staff passed and they are changing everything where they are offering a maximum of 1 Year Premium to all members as compensation. So I paid for Lifetime 3 months back; service is still running (Lifetime of the service). And they converted it to 1 Year Premium?

I believe they could've provided an option for a refund or a longer Premium than 1 Year to recent Lifetime purchasers. Also the service is still running under the same name and business nature. Whether or not its a change of hands, it is still the clear that it is alive and well.

Complete scam. Nothing works as advertised and support is non-existent

This service is a complete scam. They sell "lifetime licenses" purely to take your money, as the advertised features do not work.

Non-Working Features: None of the advertised premium downloaders function. The only exception is the free MediaFire service; no other premium file host is supported.
False Advertising: You cannot download torrents, despite this being an advertised feature. You are forced to rely entirely on cached links.
Lack of Content: Most movies have no cached links available. The few that do typically have only one or two options.
Non-Existent Support: Customer support is completely non-existent. Tickets and contact requests are ignored.
Poor Reliability: Within my first week, the service was completely down for two days, displaying a 502 error.
In summary, this is a garbage service. The positive reviews are clearly fake and must be from the company itself.

The lifetime membership is a scam

The lifetime membership is a scam. It works for 1 year and after this time you are not able to download anything.

The support is answering in that year, after that year you get no response.
