I’m not usually one to write reviews but after reading all the negative ones I felt compelled to. After I ordered my fabric I contacted customer services to enquire when my order would be despatched, this was only two days after placing it I heard back that day to say it was already on its way and arrived the next day. The fabric is really nice and better than I expected for the money. Maybe people need to be a bit more realistic in their expectations of what you get for your money. I have no complaints about this company and will shop with them again

Terrible company. I have placed a number of orders for my business so I was a returning customer. I bought ten metres of fleece and half of it was faulty. They refused to replace it as I’d cut into it and said I should have checked it first. This is not easy to do with large quantities pf fabric in a limited space as I’m a small business.

I ordered via ebay 7th april, just two balls of expensive yarn. Money taken and the items say dispatched (untracked). I then had an e mail to say item on order. 10 days later no item, I still want the yarn but am prepared for a full refund as ebay would step in

Not a company I would use again and of course I am wishing I had consulted trustpilot first

Silly of this company, I am one of those who spends a lot if the company cares for its reputation and its customers

Ordered 10 balls of yarn and money taken straight away on 24th. Tracker didn’t move for several days (the websites I usually order from are super quick so assumed would be the same). Only when I chased was I told it was actually out of stock and not due in until 1st April . It’s still showing as in stock on website which is ridiculous! Very disappointed as really need to get my project started … wouldn’t order again from here unfortunately as seems this experience is the norm reading other reviews

FULL OF FEATHER BONES , NOT SOFT AT ALL , IT IS VERY SCRATCHY AND ROUGH TO THE TOUCH . I WANTED TO PUT ON AN EVENING TOP AT THE CALF, BUT IT IS NOT FIT FOR THE PROPOSE TO BE SCRATCHY ON YOUR WRIST . I ASKED TO SEND ME A PREPAID RETUNED LABEL , SO NOW I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK FROM MY BANK .
MY ADVICE STAY AWAY FROM OH SEW CRAFTY . DON'T BUY FROM THAT UNPROFESSIONAL COMPAGNY THAT HAVE ZERO ETHICS AND COSTUMERS SERVICES .ALSO WRITING EMAIL WITH SIGNING WITH THEY COMPAGNY NAMES , INSTED OF WRITING THEY PROPRE NAMES , REALLY AWFUL , NO MANNERS .

FROM YOUR RESPONSES , IT IS NOT AS DESCRIBED WHAT SO EVER , NOTHING IS SAYING ON YOUR LISTING THAT THERES IS SCRATCHY BONE FEATHERS PARTS OF IT INSIDE . SO THAT IOS NOT AS DESCRIBED !. Beware. I received one metre of very inexpensive fabric which had been cut in an extremely crooked and careless manner at both sides, despite this being a tartan where it should have been easy to follow the lines. A photograph and emails later I was asked to return the fabric for their examination. The process of undertaking this would have cost the firm almost as much as the fabric and a lot of time and effort on both parts.I only wish I had read the reviews on trustpilot before I ordered, I would never have ordered had I read them.

Awful avoid!!
Sent me wrong fabrics, ignored the voicemail we left to for them to contact me, ignored my WhatsApp until I had to chase them up. Completely uncaring attitude and not keen to rectify their mistakes.
Treating customers like dirt!!

Great pricing and options available, delivery was fast.

First impressions were excellent - I wanted to increase the fabric I’d ordered, and they were super helpful. However, they forgot to include one of the fabrics I’d ordered in the parcel (which itself took over a week to arrive), and it took a further week (and three emails) to get the fabric resent. The missing fabric arrived over 2 weeks after I’d originally placed the order, but it was the wrong colour. They accepted the error when I sent a photo, but wanted me to send it back before issuing a refund. Given it was around £7, it’s not worth a trip to the post office and trying to get the labels printed and paying for packaging so I’ve written it off to experience. Really disappointed as the fleece that did arrive (I ordered multiple fabrics) was lovely.

Ordered some beads from their website. I chose metal beads from the colour drop down menu but was sent gin metal coloured beads, which were nothing like the original website photo I had used to order. I wrote to them but they said I had been sent the right order and initially refused to refund. I quoted the Sale of Goods Act 2015 as the product was not as advertised as the description was incorrect. If I pay for postage back to them they will refund less a 10% admin charge! It’s not worth sending them back and they bank on this to keep your money.

Oh Sew Crafty saved the day again! Brilliant customer service, brilliant prices and fabrics to die for. I made 4 Christmas sacks as last minute gifts and Oh Sew Crafty helped me out - very quick delivery, the cuddle fleece was lovely and soft and the sacks were a sight to behold- Thankyou

I have used Oh Sew crafty before and found them quick and efficient.This time I was caught out by their small print about more than one order of a piece of fabric being cut in a continuous piece. I ordered as 2 separate items, a fat quarter and half a meter of the same fabric - and was sent, uncut, half a meter + a thin(or long) quarter. They do not even sell long quarters, and as fabric is not pastry there is no way I have been given what I ordered
The person on the phone said I could send it back and reorder. She was adamant however that I should have known from the website. I’d already paid postage once so do not want to pay 2 more lots.
I wrote a review for their site saying how disappointed I was and this has disappeared into ‘moderation’ - their reviews there are all very positive.
It is depressing that they are prepared to lose good will over the length of a fat quarter- or in fact half a fat quarter!
Needless to say I shan’t use them again

Amazing customer service, contacted me to let me know one of my fabrics was out of stock and agreed to a refund straight away. Very friendly.
Top quality fabric for great prices, will be shopping again

Constantly getting orders wrong, wrong fabrics get sent out and customer service agents have the WORST attitude. So utterly dismissive and unwilling to compromise, and completely unapologetic when they make mistakes.

I used to sing this company’s praises to my fellow crafting friends but now I’ll definitely be urging them to shop elsewhere.

Further update. I wrote this review on 27th September 2024. The company responded to this review today...2nd March 2025. My comments stand.
Update. I've just had a response to my email re their shoddy fabric and apparently, as well as being expected to pay the return postage for something that isn't fit for purpose, there will be a 10% ' restocking' fee taken off the refund.
Don't touch this company with a 20ft pole. They are dishonest

This is the second order I've placed with them. In the first one, an item was missing. It was one fat quarter of fabric. I let it go because I didn't realise until I checked the order a while later.
This time, the fabric was just appalling quality and not as described, or fit for purpose. When I contacted them, they said that I could return it but would have to pay the postage because they ' didn't know what customers expectations of the product were'. It was described as brushed cotton and in the description, it said that it was suitable for making pyjamas. I bought it to make pyjamas...that was my expectation of the fabric.
Just beware when ordering from this company. It's not good value if you have to throw it in the bin

Still a dreadful website, no idea how anyone actually gets to order anything. Slow, continual freezing, utter waste of trying to see range of goods. Judging by the reviews, seems I don’t need to bother anyway.

I spoke with Kim who was really helpful. I ordered in the afternoon some fabric to make some toys for my dogs birthday, and it arrived within 24 hrs and is exaclty what i needed. Thank you so much

Placed an order for vinyl and waterproof canvas. They rang to check the order which was lovely of them.

Speedy delivery. The only reason I have not rated a 5 was that the waterproof canvas was folded with has left cracks in the material on the back. Lukily it is for a linning so will not show.

But thank you for being so lovely on the phone. Apart from the cracking I am delighted with my order. The material was also was true to colour
