EXCELLENT SERVICE - BEAUTIFUL PRODUCTS
Brilliant service again from Oka. This time from the South Kensington branch. I telephone in the morning to check they had floor lamp stand I wanted in stock. They did were very helpful said they would put it by as I was coming in later. When we went to the shop, lady was extremely helpful, unpacked it all for us so we could take it on the tube. Even offered us a glass of champagne.

Terrible experience
Terrible delivery service options. They charge £85 on top and you can barely find a slot for them to deliver. I bought a £600 rug and had to pay £85 for delivery which they couldn’t arrange properly. Zero flexibility, making money on postage.
A RUG is NOT a FRAGILE item!!!
Very very disappointing.
2 weeks to get a slot, now won’t redeliver until after 23rd!! Jokers!!

Gave me the wrong product at the till
I bought two lamps (noticed the prize went up from 125 online to 150 at the shop) and then, at the till, asked the lady to add a box of small wine twisted glasses. I paid, put everything in my suitcase and when I arrived home the glasses were the bigger water size. Unfortunate, as the one which had broken and I was replacing was wine. I do not live in the UK and buying such a small thing online is not practical.

Oka has become one of our favourite…
Oka has become one of our favourite restaurants because the food is always so good. We love the Wakame seaweed salad, the Red Dragon roll, the Beef Teppanyaki, the Tuna Tataki, and any of the Ramen dishes — everything is full of flavour, and the service is quick and attentive.
The only drawback is the atmosphere. The tables are very close together, so at times it feels like you’re sharing your meal with strangers. It can feel crowded, and sitting at the first two tables on the left can be uncomfortable in winter because of the cold draft every time the door opens.
Apart from that, everything is great, but what truly makes our visits special is Archaa (not sure about the spelling). She is always friendly, kind, and welcoming, with a warm smile that instantly makes you feel at home. Her cheerful and caring nature adds so much to the experience, and we always look forward to seeing her. She is a big part of why we keep coming back.

Wanted to buy a piece of furniture originally ordered online then at checkout 90£ was added for delivery. Contacted them it’s a new policy I’m told was spending 1110£. No free delivery poor customer support and not interested in helping.

We have recently updated our delivery pricing to a tiered system across all services, including Heavy, Fragile, Parcel, and Click & Collect. This change was introduced to better reflect the real costs associated with picking, packing, special handling, and transporting items — costs that have risen significantly due to increased wages, employment costs, and fuel. Even with these adjustments, we continue to subsidise a considerable portion of the overall delivery cost, and our rates remain in line with other premium homeware and furniture retailers. Free delivery is available on orders over £3,000.

Unpleasant staff
Unpleasant staff. I made a special trip - 45 minutes on the train with a heavy bag - and couldn’t find the shop as google maps sent me the wrong way. I called to ask the address and say that I was just a few minutes away. I got there to find they had turned off the lights three minutes before closing. The manager obviously wanted to shut up shop early and go. I explained I don’t live in London and I’d raced there specially after a work visit and knew exactly what I wanted to buy but was given a very condescending no and sent away. It’s typical snooty attitude from big retail you never get this kind of treatment shopping local and independent. Has put me off buying there again.
