Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 139 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers frequently complained about receiving unexpected auto-subscriptions and noticing charges they did not recognize directly on their credit card statements. Reviewers also struggled heavily to secure refunds or successfully return unwanted items when attempting to resolve billing problems. Furthermore, people noted that the skincare items completely failed to deliver the promised results and felt heavily overpriced. Some reviewers were happy with efficient customer support responses and appreciated relatively prompt order delivery times. These consumers also appreciated when packages arrived safely with original boxes and provided a smooth, glowing skin appearance after application.

Waste of money

I bought this Serem some months ago, no difference to my skin whatsoever. I ordered Olavita Serem but received a very similar looking bottle labelled "liquid Serem" which sells on Amazon for a fraction of the price!!. DON'T BUY, it's a waste of money!!

This is just another company with a…

This is just another company with a slick ad campaign on FB and I'm ashamed I fell for it. I used the product exactly as directed every day for 2 1/2 months with absolutely NO noticeable change in my skin. I reached out to them and they kept saying it needed more time -obviously wanted me to buy more- and at that point I just wrote the experience up to a bad decision on my part. DO NOT BELEIVE any of their claims. They have nothing to back them up and I see that many others feel the same way. SCAM SCAM SCAM

I'm sorry you gals in the UK we're taken for your hard earned money, a total shame. I suppose I was lucky. The product works! My lines are fading, I put it on a clean face wait for it to dry an then use either my Mary Kay or my Jlo products an it's a boost to my daily skin care. I'm 71 an look 50.

This company is FRAUDULANT

On Nov. 15, 2024, I returned the products I purchased to a China address; did not know when purchased they came from China; asked for a refund as promised. Have sent several emails when my post office told me the products had been received. No response. What FRAUD. and I will never purchase like this again.

To all the people who took their time…

To all the people who took their time to write a review. Thank you so so much! I too was just about to purchase a bottle of this wonder serum, and I am so grateful that I read these reviews first! What I want to know is how these fraudulent companies get away with scamming people like this? Something needs to be done! I don't know whether Trustpilot will post my comments as I haven't bought a bottle. Thankfully to all the customers who took the time to warn others, like me. I really appreciate it. I'm am also truly sorry that you have been totally ripped off 😢. I hope at least you can eventually get your money back. Kindest regards to you all x

Disappointed

Disappointed, I have been trying to return this product without success! I am £180 out of pocket. I have followed all instructions from Olavita. UK customer beware! This product comes from China, which I was not aware of. Therefore, they require you to return items back to China. I followed all instructions from Olavita with regards to the refund but the items are now stuck within the customs department so they are not going to refund me!

It is unfortunate that I can not give…

It is unfortunate that I can not give zero stars. Ordered 3 bottles and paid on Olivia.de website. Never received the product. When I queried it with them, they said they could not find the order. I never received a confirmation email and got suspicious. I had to send them the details of what I've ordered 4 times. Every time the same story: they can not find an order with my address nor details.

So angry and frustrated!

When ordering I received my bill but noticed that I had been charged for another 3 items. I had not ordered these. I contacted the supplier immediately and explained what had happened. They said they would look into it and organise a refund through PayPal. I checked my bank account and found out that they had already taken the money from my account. I have been emailing their account over several weeks, on each occasion they tell me they will look into it and I never hear back from them. I purchased the items on 06/03/2025 and today is 04/04/2025 some weeks later. Today I have been forced to contact PayPal direct to see if they can help me. As to the product, I'm 61 years of age and it hasn't made any difference to my skin. Please beware before purchasing from this company.

This is the LAST TIME I will ever LOOK…

This is the LAST TIME I will ever LOOK AT ANY advertisement ON any social media site - EVER.

If you want accurate skincare advice, go to a dermatologist. They spent a decade in classrooms and with patients and hospitals to learn what they know. They worked on patients identical to you and me - they know what skin conditions can be remedied, enhanced or just left alone. “First, Do No Harm” is the credo all medical doctors abide by when they graduate from medical school - after a VERY LONG (and expensive) PROCESS.

The “voodoo” liquid inside these tiny dropper bottles is just that - BS disguised as helpful liquid. Don’t fall for it. The “model” that smears the stuff in videos on their skin IMMEDIATELY WASH IT ALL OFF WITH HOT WATER once the camera stops rolling. They are doing themselves a disservice by smearing on an unknown liquid for money - oh well, we all gotta eat.

And the “Money Back Guaranty?” That’s like trying to find the 800 number for any tech company - they don’t have one. Why do they have one?

-> Because, with all the BILLIONS they’re worth they don’t want to spend a dime on “Customer Service” since they KNOW the phone lines would be jammed with complaints ALL DAY LONG and customers who want their MONEY BACK - good luck with that!

I grew up during a time when there were ZERO CELL PHONES, NO COMPUTERS, nothing but human-to-human contact and an occasional telephone call with my friends and family.

WE WERE MUCH BETTER OFF BACK THEN - no gadgets to carry around and have to charge every few minutes, no PAY WALL if you want to read something online, no constant RIDICULOUS solicitations from China, Russia, Ira or India etc etc. And WHY DO THOSE CALLS EMANATE FROM THISE COUNTRIES?

Because HUMAN LABOR IS DIRT CHEAP IN THOSE PLACES and to SELL people 24/7 to buy some idiotic liquid using hard earned money is a job for an unskilled person - as long as they can READ A SHORT SALES SCRIPT over and over and over for an 8-10 hours gift they’ll get paid a few quarters and dimes.

SOCIAL MEDIA JUST MADE IT 1000X WORSE.!

THE WORLD HAS GONE NUTS SELLING CRAP ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT.

TONIGHT, when you arrive at your home, kiss your wife or husband and your kids, ask them “How was your day?!” and IMMEDIATELY TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE AND YOUR COMPUTER - as in OFF!!! and don’t even look at them again until you get to work tomorrow morning.

This stuff is junk and has a lot of FREE LIQUID in it from CHINA that will irritate skin. Plus it doesn’t work anyway. Don’t buy it and don’t buy anything being sold in Instagram, X, Twitter, The Facebook, LinkedIn, nowhere!!

ROB STEVENS III
Now $99 poorer with 3 cheap bottles of junk.
