Horrible Customer Service

I ordered an album, several stand-alone 45s, and one of their 45 rpm party packs (100x45rpm). All the records were just thrown in the box laying on top of the 12" LP. They missed 2 of the 45s I ordered and several of the 45s in the party pack were warped badly (bad!). I contacted them about this and they never even replied. Pretty ridiculous. I won't order from them again.

I would leave no starts if possible

I would leave no starts if possible. I ordered a cookie jar as a birthday gift but the recipient ordered the same cookies jar for themselves so I had to return my order. There was no packing slip and a 2"x2" ripped piece of paper that passed as a receipt. I called about returning the item. I was told to close the box and put in a piece of paper with a 4 digit code. this was 11/27/20. I did so and paid to ship it back. It arrived on 11/30/20 and was signed for at Oldies. After 17 days I still had no refund. I called on 12/17. I was told they hadn't received the package. I told them the tracking and they confirmed proof it had been delivered back to them. I was then told returns were slow because of the holidays and to wait a few more days. It is now January 27 2021, I still have no refund. Bad customer service, no one answers. They steal your money.

Bad customer service sent me wrong items and went to place another order gave them order number didn’t understand what it was. Your better off buying them on eBay cheaper and free shipping.

I will NEVER AGAIN Buy one thing from them! Their Customer Service is Horrific and their website is horrible I place an order on December 17th .. The said Id have my order by 12/24 (mail was crazy) HOWEVER NO ONE AT THIS COMPANY EVEN TOUCHED MY ORDER UNTIL I CALLED AND COMPLAINED ON JANUARY 4TH!!! HELLOOOOOO

ORDER PLACED 12/17/20 NOT TOUCHED UNTIL 1/4/21 NO EXPLANATIONS NO EMAILS NOTHING!!

AND I PAID FOR PRIORITY !!! THEY FINALLY SHIPPED ON 1/5 AND THEN HAD THE NERVE TO SHIP 1 ALBUM BY MAIL TOOK OVER 2 WEEKS TO GET THAT ONE.

THERE IS NO WAY TO TRACK WHAT CAME AS THEY CLAIM THAT THE REST OF MY ORDER ISNT FILLABLE.. WELL IT WAS A FLIPPIN MONTH AGO WHEN I PLACED THE ORDER.

HAD THEY FILLED IT WHEN I PLACED IT I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN ALL MY RECORDS.

I HAVE YET TO BE REIMBURSED FOR MY "PRIORITY" FEE OR ANY OF THE LPS THAT DID NOT SHOW UP - I HAVE SEEN NO REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE LPS THAT DID NOT GET SHIPPED

THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO CORRECT THIS ERROR OR TRY TO MAINTAIN ME AS A CUSTOMER .. MY VERY FIRST ORDER I SPENT 225$

MS. ANN AND MS. BARBARA ARE LOVELY WOMEN AND WERE EMPATHETIC.. MS. BARBARA AT LEAST DID FOLLOW UP WITH ME WHEN SHE SAID SHE WOULD. THEY ARE THEY ONLY REASON I GAVE 3 STARS (AND I FINALLY GOT SOME OF MY RECORDS

I ASKED FOR A MANAGER TO CALL ME BACK 3Xs - NO ONE EVEN HAD THE PROFESSIONAL COURTESY TO CALL ME.

AND THE EMAILS THEY SEND HAVE A TONE LIKE I DID SOMETHING WRONG.

I AM FILING A CLAIM AGAINST THEM WITH BBB AND PLAN ON POSITNG THIS ON EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYY THING SO NOOOOO ONE EVERY HAS TO GO THRU THIS RIDICULOUS BS..

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 40 YEARS.

Terrible, don't order

Ordered some DVDs for Christmas for my sister December 2, 2020. Well before problems with the post office should have happened with shipping during December- I anticipate most of that, and order most gifts by December 15 usually. They claim they shipped December 11, 2020. I tracked the order- December 15, 2020, it said "In Transit to Next Facility, will be delayed", I was like fine, it still had 10 days to arrive. Still nothing on December 24, had to wrap an empty box for my sister's present with pictures of the items. We didn't open presents until the 28th, because work, so it even had an extra three days to arrive. Checked tracking, still said -In Transit to Next Facility, December 15, 2020. Checked through the beginning of January. Wrote them a message on the 8th (?). Checked origin of shipping- Philadelphia. Waited-No response! Waited. Waited. Still nothing. Contacted them again (Jan. 18) after checking tracking- still said, In Transit to Next Facility for that same date. After contacting them again, I checked tracking- suddenly it says- Jan 18, 2021

And I find 4 and 5 star reviews suspicious as well, since all the recent 1 and 2 star reviews I've read have shared similar experiences to mine.

STAY AWAY

I won't review products as most are - well you know - and anything good is overpriced. They are as nasty as can be if you ever need help. They can't ship what they sell. Just a nightmare. I have had too many issues with them to ever purchase from them again - pay less or more elsewhere you will be happier. I called and spoke to their main person in that the set of CD's I wanted I wanted all "jewel" cases and he informed they would all be Jewel cases. Out of approximately 14 NONE were jewel cases. Just 100% horrible service and horrible assistance. By the way, if you pay the $1.00 of insurance and the item does not get to you - even if the delivery states it did - they tell you tough luck file with the post office. Yep - just great customer service. NOPE - I just shopped on Amazon and eBay and I am far happier. Best Buy shipped me in one day two items they have never shipped me. Who needs or wants this sort of service?

Terrible customer service

Horrible service and customer relations. Ordered a DVD early Dec. Was meant to be delivered between 12/11 and 23. No delivery no updates. Called Jan 4th. Was told would would be shipped out in a couple of days. Over a week later, still nothing. Called to cancel. Spoke to a Mirna who kept talking over me. Never asked why I was cancelling. Will never use them again.

MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!

This was the worst and I mean worst experience I have ever had purchasing anything. I ordered something (1 single item) two months ago and still haven’t received anything. They do not communicate with you whatsoever. Horrible customer service. I called three times ( each one week apart) and was told three separate shipping periods by three separate people, after 3 weeks I called to cancel. The fourth person I spoke with canceled my order ( or so I was told) a week later I received an email that my item shipped... why would that be; clearly I canceled. My account was charged and I received a tracking number. I still wanted the item even though I was forced to cancel due to not arriving in time for the holidays, so upon being charged well over a week after canceling I watched the tracking number. It has been another three weeks and the tracking number just days the label was created not that the item even shipped! I called just a couple days ago because what the heck else is there to do! I sat on hold for 45 minutes to “check the status of an order” all to just hang up. I immediately called right back but pressed “1” for place a new order and was on with a real person in less than 1 minute 50seconds ( trust me I watched the clock) I was then told to call back again Monday and to dial this extension and to talk to this person or that person and they’ll “ do what they can to get you a refund.” All of a sudden come Monday morning my tracking number was updated and the package mysteriously is on the move. I will never ever order anything from this crap of a business ever again. And I have told everyone I know that they are a giant waste of time. They should be ashamed.

Perfect for my old school soul

I am more of an old school so this site really helped me find the old romcom movies I was trying to find. Especially during Christmas! Good thing they have a Christmas carol for 12 dollars and 50 cents. Can't wait to purchase more, this store is like heaven to me!

I FOUND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS NOT GOOD WHEN I PLACED THE ORDER IT SEEMED AS THOUGH THE MAN WAS TAKING ORDERS FROM HIS HOME WHICH IS FINE BUT HE WAS NO HELP AT ALL
I CALLED THEM YESTERDAY TO CHECK ON MY ORDER WOMAN ON PHONE SEEMED CONFUSED AND SAID MY ORDER WAS ON A GIFT LIST SEEMS IT WAS FORGOTTEN ABOUT NOW THIS IS ALMOST A MONTH
SHE HELPED AND SAID I NEED TO CALL BACK MONDAY. WHY
SHE CLAIMED AFTER I CALL BACK THAT MY SHIPMENT WILL BE SENT OUT
BY THE WAY MY PAYMENT WAS TAKEN OUT IMMEDIATELY
I LOVE THEIR PRODUCTS AND HOPE TO TRUST THEM IN THE FUTURE

Great Selection REALLY SUCKY Fulfillment & Processing

These guys have a fantastic selection of music. What they don't have is ANY sense of urgency. Nor do they understand customer service efficiency. I placed an order on 12/6/20 that was confirmed w/a 2-8 day shipping window. Flash forward to 1/3/21 and I still do not have my order. A month for anything, even nowadays is just stupid. I don't hold the USPS responsible for this, I hold Oldies.com responsible because the order sat for TEN DAYS before it was mailed (and 24 days after I placed the order). So much for the Christmas music I ordered. If there were items waiting to be fulfilled and there was a delay two things should have happened....1) an email sent alerting me that there is a delay and 2) at a bare minimum they could have split the shipment and sent what was in stock. In addition to inefficiency there, something doesn't feel right with the postage. I paid $9 for shipping and according to the USPS tracking, it was not sent first class but rather Media Mail, which is the cheapest and slowest form of mail (4th class). If you have the patience and don't mind slow service, this is a great place with a ton of music. But honestly, I can order stuff from Amazon and get it cheaper & faster (even if it's coming from Marketplace Sellers.). They FAILED miserably here and that's a shame...Perhaps they could mail orders in a timely manner if they emailed you less than 10 times a day and or sent less than 6973947 catalogs a month? I want to like Oldies.com, I really do, but this ordeal has left a really bitter taste in my mouth.

Two CDS ordered before Thanksgiving not arrived

I ordered 2 Christmas CDs right before Thanksgiving and the order was confirmed on 11/23/20. It was supposedly processed for shipping on 12/7/20 and shipped on 12/10. I followed the tracking for three stops until it ended on 12/14. I've had no further updates. Today, is 12/31/20 and my order has not arrived. I spoke with a customer service representative on the phone who told me I had to wait 45 days (from 12/7) before they would do anything. I asked if I could speak to a manager and was told yes. As of this writing, I have not received a promised call back. I am a long-time customer, but this is likely to end my relationship with them. I've asked my credit card company to remove the charges from my account.

Horrible company

Horrible company. Not qualified to put CDs in a box and mail them correctly. I placed three orders in total and they only got one right. They still have my money but have yet to fix the mistakes. Will not be doing any business with them in the future.

Hard Candy Christmas for Jolene

I placed an order for two vinyl albums on December 8; one for the Jolene album my son really wanted for Christmas and the other was an extra throw in, Journey album, since shipping would be same anyway. Reason I ordered here was because the albums both claimed to be in stock and to be delivered before Christmas. I had no experience ordering from this site, but reviews seemed good. I guess I was a “dumb blonde”. As the days towards Christmas passed, I never received an update, so I called the number on website, and finally got through, after a few tries and after holding for 45 minutes. I was told by the less than helpful customer service rep, that my order was being shipped later, but would be after Christmas. Had to break the news to my son, and give him his other albums on Christmas I had gotten from Target, but they did not compete with Jolene. I received a package on December 29 containing the one album that was not the coveted first choice Dolly album. No explanation given. No email saying anything, other than order was delivered. I tried to decipher from the website what happened to my Dolly, but unable to make any sense of it. Thinking Dolly may be “two doors down”, I called the lovely perpetual hold number again and spoke to the ever pleasant costumer service rep, who assured me Dolly was “coming at some time”. With this great news, I was still not convinced. I tried my best detective skills, and googled an email address from Facebook from a dissatisfied customer for Oldies.com customer service. I explained that I was unhappy with their treatment of this situation of not being I informed of my order status, and having to play Columbo trying to find Dolly. Surprisingly, I received an answer of “we will check”. Next day, they responded with short answer of said Dolly album was received to them damaged, so did not ship to me, and oh well, never gonna get it, as not making anymore apparently. No Dolly. No sorry, no apology, no offer of another Dolly, no fake Dolly, no bootleg Dolly, no pseudo Dolly, no discount, no coupon, no...no nothing! If I hadn’t tried to track down said Dolly album, I’d be waiting forever. So it was a “Hard Candy Christmas”, and I will be working my “9 to 5” job to pay that high shipping on the one album I could’ve gotten just about anywhere else, or added to my or their Target orders. My Dolly, we will always love her. Oldies.com, not so much. Oh, get this, the Jolene album that they said was out of stock indefinitely, like the elusive Bigfoot, I found it at Target.com yesterday , cheaper and shipped to me tomorrow! So thanks for the Journey album, Oldies.com. For that, I will generously give you 2 stars for. It did finally arrive, after Christmas, with no explanation, but in great condition. But, I think I stopped believing in you and don’t have open arms.

It took an entire month to the day for…

It took an entire month to the day for 3 things from my 15 item order to arrive, not because of shipping problems but because it takes them 8 to 12 BUSINESS days to ship. I didn't notice this when I ordered and now the Christmas themed items that I ordered have to be stored as next year's presents. Even still, they did not ship within 12 business days.
Edit: It is 1/4 and I STILL have not rec'd the rest of my order and no one at the store could tell me EXACTLY what I'll be getting out of my remaining 12 items. This is entirely their fault as everything was in stock when I ordered. I will go so far as to say I HATE THIS STORE! I had to call 3 times to find out where my order was and at one point it had been so long I was thinking of calling my credit card company because I believed I'd been scammed. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE! IT IS NOTHING BUT A HASSLE! I had to call 3 times and still do not have the rest of my order. Even if you have to buy your 15 items from 15 different stores, it's better than shopping here.

Good Luck Getting what you ordered

As long as you get what you ordered, they have really cool stuff. However, if you don't get what you ordered you're out of luck! The number connects to no one and I don't even think they check their emails, so may the odds ever be in your favor when you order from them!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Honestly I wouldn't even give it a one star. I placed an order November 15th still haven't received my order and it's December 23rd. I've called and emailed but no response or anything. Extremely poor service. 10/10 recommend TO NEVER PURCHASE.

I ordered on Dec

I ordered on Dec. 3, payment was posted Dec. 11 by them. Ordered was sent the 17th, finally got it on the 21st thank God for small favors. Their 3 to 5 days shipping is a lie and when you call them they can't tell you anything. You write them you get the same reply its being processed it was being processed for 7 days please they could have walked it to me. NEVER again will I order anything for them. Very disappointed.
