Very poor service

Very poor service. 12 days since ordered still hasn’t shipped. 1st call was answered by someone working at home who knew nothing. 2nd call 45 min on hold & still waiting for someone to answer. Don’t waist your time. Believe this company is a scam.

I'm very disappointed with this…

I'm very disappointed with this company! I placed an order on November 21st. I was not informed there could be any delays. I've called several times to check the status only to be given the run around. No one seems to have a clue. States my order has been pulled and ready to send. But , can't tell me when that will be. There was a projected arrival time. That never happened. I called again on December 15th , I was then told they would have it re invoiced and sent priority. I still have not received my order. This was to be a Christmas gift. I will NEVER order from this company again or recommend it to anyone.

I ordered CD's on November 25

I ordered CD's on November 25, 2020 with the site indicating that it would ship within several days and arrive within 2-8 business days thereafter. It is now - 23 calendar days later - USPS tracking indicates it shipped on Dec 4, 2020, They tell me - they won't know anything until it shows up as being in the Chicago Area, Oldies.com - tells me I need to "be patient" - I was never told - that IF I ordered from this site - that it might take 30-45 days or even longer - We buy much from many sites, and get things generally within 1-5 business days - with free shipping - here "free shipping" - means - waiting endlessly - with no help from the Company!1

ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
Customer service was 2/10. I do it for a living so I know a little bit about it. Then we get into why I'm calling 🙄 I ordered ( 2 ) movies. Had to pay shipping on both but only received ( 1 ) the one I didn't receive is on back order but no date in sight as to when. So I might be doing Christmas in July. I received three emails from these morons and none of them mentioned anything about the backorder, clearly stated that it was both movies. My wife was going to be thrilled that I found one of her top 3 favorites on blu-ray. I guess we'll watch it next Halloween when it finally arrives. If I have to pay for shipping again on this movie I'm contacting the Better Business Bureau I swear. They need to fix their raggedy little website to let people know it's out of stock. Plus if you decide to get pissed and return your oder YOU have to pay for shipping. Who TF does this? Like I told the woman on the phone that it's a lesson learned.

Placed an order on December 8th got an…

Placed an order on December 8th got an email saying it would be delivered between the 11th and 25th of December. On the 14th of December order was still being processed. Called the company and talked to a lady she said to call back tomorrow. The area they are in got hit with a snow storm so I waited to the 18th and talked to Myrna she told me to call back tomorrow umm no, she took my number and said a supervisor would call me back. 10 minutes after hanging up I get an email saying my order was shipped economy and would be delivered by the 30th. Tried to call them back and they have blocked my number.

Would never order from them ever again

Would never order from them ever again. Ordered 3 items, was told it would ship in 4-8 days. Finally shipped in 30 days but short shipped me on one item and then closed order as shipped complete. I have a receipt that shows they short shipped me but the will not acknowledge this and refuse to refund the outstanding balance.

Great selection for all time periods.

I have been a customer of oldies.com for many years. My collection covers mostly the period from the mid-1950s to 1990. This year I decided to fill in some missing artists like Les Cooper, early Brenda Lee and the Five Satins. In addition I couldn't resist the many varied Christmas albums from this same period. Oldies.com did not let me down and they were available at great prices.

Stunningly Bad Customer Service

I placed three large orders with oldies.com. The first experience was so bad, that I split the second and third orders with Amazon, Target and Walmart to compare.

First, the good: Oldies has the better of the four websites for shopping for CDs. The fact that you have to keep pulling down the CD category on each search is a little annoying, but still it's not near as maddening as Amazon. What is very annoying on the others is shopping for compilation CDs -- the other sites often don't list the songs. How can you buy a compilation CD without knowing which songs are on it?

Okay: Prices on compilations are 20-40% better on Oldies.com, otherwise I was able to find near-equal or better pricing on the other sites.

The bad: I mean real bad. Walmart and Target averaged 1.7 days per CD for delivery (from store) and all orders were completed in full on first delivery. Amazon average 2.8 days per CD and missed one CD in one of it's orders.

Oldies.com averaged 33 days delivery per CD (that's average) and missed an average of 6 CD's per delivery. Several CDs took more than 100 days for delivery. All three orders had multiple CDs missing on initial delivery, one order had eleven missing. They do not notify you on open orders for CDs that eventually do get delivered or status of them if they don't. You have to call and ask for a refund if they never get delivered, which happened on 5 CDs.

When contacting Oldies.com, their customer service was consistently rude, condescending and clearly showed they didn't care. I had to call them at least six times (waiting at least 20 minutes for someone to answer) and each was a waste of time. At least five times, they lied to me saying CDs had already been delivered when they hadn't. I'm stunned at how poor their customer service is.

Questionable: When I was ripping my CDs, I often found Chinese writing on the metadata (especially the compilations), which leads me to believe Oldies.com is buying their CDs from Chinese duplicators, which may explain the lower prices on the compilations.

PLEASE DON’T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please, whatever you do, DON’T order from here. After 12 days my order hasn’t even been processed yet. When I called customer service the lady was completely vague about what the problem was. No question I asked was directly answered and they didn’t seem to care AT ALL! In the end I was left with “Were having trouble finding what you ordered, and we don’t know when you’ll receive it.” Horrible! DONT DO IT!

Slow delivery- rude customer service

After ordering a CD nearly, it still has not shipped. I reached out to customer service this morning, and they were rude and unhelpful. I have canceled the order, and will not do business with this company in the future. Look elsewhere.

Dissatisfied & disappointed

If I could give a -1 I would! Placed a order & knew how much this gift meant to my husband but as I kept checking my order status it didn't change so I emailed and finally got a response = order cancelled wow! My advice is call & order if you want to take the chance.

I ordered 5 cd's on 10/27/2020....today…

I ordered 5 cd's on 10/27/2020....today is 11/27/2020. Just called customer service about an update because I noticed that I was charged for these cd's on 11/27....was told that they "should" be shipped out on 11/30. When I asked for a refund I was told that I could send them back once I get them for a full refund. To add to my frustration....I have to wait another 7 to 10 days for delivery.....my total wait time for my order will be close to 6wks!! Never, EVER, EVER. EVER again Oldies! The customer service lady was nice though.

I ordered a pair of earrings and they…

I ordered a pair of earrings and they sent me the wrong ones which were slightly cheaper but did not adjust my payment to reflect that. I sent a message on their website and they replied, instructed me to call, so I did. Turns out the earrings are now out of stock!

Nothing was resolved at all. I was merely given the email address for someone in the warehouse. I sent him a message but he never responded.

Not sure what I am supposed to do at this point. When they are back in stock, they will be at a higher price because they were on sale.

I’ve spent $324.98 Far to much

I’ve spent $324.98 with 4 orders within a short time. This feels like a dumpster-drive website to me. Really dislike their website and service. The music I got is poor cheapskate junk and it shows. Cd’s in the wrong cases. CD's with songs that don't match the case labeling or labels that look and feel like they were just ‘now’ stuck on. My Spectrum Analyzer shows many of the music Cd's have very low frequency response and hundreds of songs in 'Mono' only. Playing them sound like my 1964 transistor radio with that 1 inch single speaker. Got 150 movies and some are watchable (barely). Sickening stuff and sorry but from my experience I can't recommend.

Oldies does not disappoint.

I expected my order to be acknowledged by email and again when it had shipped. I expected my order to arrive in a timely manner and neatly packaged. Once again, Oldies did not disappoint. I have been spoiled by Oldies because the service is always excellent. The very few issues or concerns I had has always been quickly resolved, leaving me very satisfied with Oldies. I will be a customer of theirs for years to come!
