The cut is beautiful on their volk wool pants, the finish details too, BUT the fabric quality is not acceptable. In higher stress areas there's HEAVY pilling, connected to low quality fabric. I'd wish... See more

Shoddy construction
My daughter purchased the Pocket Point Corduroy Dungarees, in Pink and asked me to take them in a bit at the waist. I thought they were cute, but I was surprised by the poor workmanship. There were hanging threads, the pockets had not been reinforced, and one of the pockets wasn't even attached completely because someone couldn't follow the curve of that pocket. Although she'd yet to wear them, I had to reinforce all the seams because they were all chain-stitched and on the verge of pulling out. Definitely not the quality I would have expected for $95.
Not really worth the money, imo
I bought a check dress and a pair of socks from Olive and they are ... Fine. Considering how much the items cost I had high hopes for excellent quality and good ethical practice, however it's not unlike other, cheaper, fast fashion companies. The dress has a weird polyester-like lining that I had to widen due to having bigger hips; it was pretty uncomfortable. Honest TL;DR: cute but not worth the money (you'd be better off paying an independent designer or making yourself, if you are so inclined).
Terrible QUALITY
Do not spend money there!!! I bought there few times and in the last couple of time I bought, the quality is horrible. The fabric is rough to the touch, the items are so poorly constructed😢, the seems are not properly sewn, the strings are coming out, just wondering who did ever sewn this. Very very angry, as the items are so expensive, us I paid so much to get it to Australia
Returned an expensive jumper because it…
Returned an expensive jumper because it was itchy and therefore unwearable.
Message then sent that return not accepted as it was perfume soiled. ???? Surely/hopefully they steam clean returned items?? Have never had this kind of experience shopping online which I do a great deal. Won't be buying again from this rubbish company.
A nice discovery
I just discovered this brand, reading the bad reviews I was a bit hesitant but my experience was a good product, super fast delivery and a correct price. The trouser I ordered fits me perfectly and was delivered, outside the UK, the next day. So far I have no complains
I would highly avoid purchasing anything
Clothes look really nice but the positives end here. Quality is really bad and the prices so high. I don't mind buying an expensive piece if I know it will last me for a long time but everything I have purchased that wasn't a poor fit(because a lot of things I had ordered fitted me very poorly and had to return) either got ripped or stretched out within less than a year of a purchase. This makes the brand highly unsustainable unfortunately. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this shop.
Bad Quality, High Prices. THEFT
This company is engaging in straight up theft. You pay high quality prices and what you get is almost embarrassingly constructed. There's no accounting for where it was produced, and you don't find out what it's made of until you receive it (and the answer is moldy scratchy wool, or gross polyester). The seams aren't even straight and my sweater arrived with a hole in it. I'm embarrassed to say what it cost me and the return process is patchy (they tell you to track it yourself, no label created, nothing). STAY AWAY if you can. There's a reason why there's no reviews on their website and no comments allowed on their IG. Learn from my mistakes as I'm not really hopeful I'll get any of my money back at all from these thieves.
This is a VERY weird company
This is a VERY weird company: ~ utterly out of step ~ something significantly ‘not quite right’. Interactions with staff were distasteful and odd .. customer ‘service’ … an inappropriate, intense, completely obsessive email style. A simple matter of a mislaid item (their fault) was a never ending saga; a risible endless interaction with 100% tiresome individuals. Incidentally, the clothes are not nice, the service is cynical, the raison d’etre pointless.
Over the moon with my purchases
Over the moon with my purchases, second time shopping with Olive, prompt delivery, great quality.👍😊
Spend money elsewhere
Good things-shipped asap and Olive paid for duties, material feels like it will last forever and withstand anything (its potato sack material), and the high-low style is hard to come by. V cute style!
Not so good things-material is coarse, this is not a cozy sweater. Olive’s sizing guide is awful. I even contacted their Support team for clarification and they could not care at all.
If you're still looking to buy as reference, I am a size xs/S in Aritzia and Medium in Zara/Simons/Plenty/frank and oak, and I fit in the S/M in their jumpers if this helps.
Terrible Quality
The quality of the dress I bought is so poor I didn't even try it on before sending it back. £72 for see-through fabric.
So disappointed.
Really do not order from this company
Really do not order from this company . My throw has arrived with LOTS of pulls in it ( pictures sent ) and they are making me pay to return it. I have disabilities also and can't always get out. They are now ignoring all my emails. Dreadful and ignorant company
Re: Re Order 32982 |
Return Costs are way too high!
The Pullover Color looked differently in real and I have to pay 15€ Return costs?!!! 15€ is Crazy! Last Time I orderd there.
Poor quality for price
Such a shame, style and fit of the dress I purchased were great but the quality of the finish and the fabric (100% polyester ) were dreadful. For £89 I expected something much better. If they would remake the dress in cotton fabric I would buy tomorrow.
Awful quality trousers for the price…
Awful quality trousers for the price you pay. 80 quid for the cheapest and worst quality corduroy trousers.
Better off going to a vintage shop and buying old 2nd hand trousers instead.
I love my Jane turtle neck jumper..

Great customer service
Great customer service: item didn’t suit unfortunately but olive were happy to help with returning. Postal strikes delayed arrival and return, taking me outside the return window but olive were understanding and offered a full refund upon return. Thank you guys!!
Beware! Avoid, avoid, avoid
Beware! Do not use this company!
I spent £177.00 for a pair of pyjamas and a dressing gown.
I then received a separate invoice from FedEx demanding I pay £48 duty on the goods I purchased from Le-Olive!
When I contact Le-Olive I was told it was in the T&Cs.
What a joke.
Style over substance
Totally fell for the photo, but material and make were awful. The dress looked as though it came from a market stall where it would have cost a third of the price. Allegedly the fabric was cotton flannel but it had neither softness nor warmth. And it was so poorly constructed.
The delivery and refund were prompt
The dress I bought looked good but..
The dress I bought looked good and fitted quite well even though it was a one size (I’m a 12). But the quality of the cloth was poor. It was costly and I would expect better quality for the price. And it should have had pockets!
