I have been working along side Oliver Elliot for many years and have always found them proffesional and experts in their field. I have no hesitation in reccomending them.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Elliot was great to deal with, explained everything clearly and the process was managed smoothly (closing down limited company). Happy to recommend!

After a recent bad experience, I believe this company is best avoided. They seem not keen to accept criticism in a public forum, so tough to expand without risk of litigation it seems. Interesting in itself.
In the reviewers opinion, there are likely to be other practitioners who would be better than this and it would make sense to seek one of them out.
Do not touch - unresponsive, does not work in creditor interest, formal complaint registered with ICAEW
As the largest creditor he has NOT worked in my interest rather only in the interests of maximising his billing
He ignores his legal obligations refusing meetings, not addressing correspondences or questions, refusing calls
We will not engage using heavy handed and expensive legal procedures to avoid servicing creditors or provide even basic information
The worst kind of process abuse
For him each job appears only a feeding frenzy
I have had to report a formal complaint to the ICAEW who regulate him
There are plenty of insolveny practitioners, do not use this one
UPDATE: 21 days later and still no response or attempt to contact me to resolve. Speaks volumes. Conversations with other insolvency practices confirm his reputation for lack of communication and excessive billing "a nasty piece of work"
