The Snug is a drive-away awning for the rear of your van. It attaches over the tailgate or barn doors of vehicles 190cm to 250cm tall and gives couples and solo campers a sheltered space for cooking, sitting or storage, with a large canopy on the front for extra cover. Because it connects at the back of the van, the tunnel's two side doors are how you get in and out of the vehicle, and a cable entry point lets you run hook-up power inside. The sewn-in groundsheet keeps the floor clean and dry, and the whole awning weighs 15kg. The Snug pitches with a single inflation point: pump once and the air beam raises the whole structure in about 10 minutes with the included manual pump. The fabric is rated to a 5,000mm hydrostatic head with taped seams, and rain diverters on the zips carry water away from the openings.
