The service is phenomenal. When needed, a real person is available to walk you through the steps and each time gets easier. I have now actually managed, all by myself, to file electronically, using One Legal. Thanks again One Legal for making this part of life simpler for lawyers.

This company will charge you twice for THEIR mistake and then refuse to talk to you about it, or even acknowledge it. The employees are not well trained and are incompetent and have no clue of legal process or what to do in any situation. If you want your pleadings to not be filed properly, use them. If you want two case numbers for one case, use One Legal. If you want to pay for awful service, use One Legal.
If you love sitting on the phone over an our waiting for customer service, use this service.

Easy to use, but takes a few days to get filed copy back from court. Probably the Court, not One Legal.

One Legal worked for me. I used the service to file my lawsuit. Then I used the process service. The defendant moved, so I used the skip trace service and they found a new address. After three attempts they served the defendant. I am very happy as I am doing this on my own. I would highly recommend One Legal.

The support to file online in Cook County, Illinois was excellent. With the help of Casey Grimes and Natasha Adams all my errors were corrected and then filed with the court

Documents get filed in a timely manner. If there are any questions or dome type of delay, someone always reaches out to keep me informed.

I have always received great customer service from One Legal.

They are great when it comes to physical filing. As to electronic filing, they are also great as long as nothing goes wrong.

The absolute WORST most cumbersome and ineffective efiling company on line. excessively long wait times to have even the most basic question answered. Not to mention ongoing technical support issues and problems on line with efiling.This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Unfortunately, the Court doesn't allow any other efiling company for San Diego.

I have been using One Legal for more than 15 years as a Legal Secretary.
It's only One Legal that I trust to have my documents filed on time very time.
If I have problems with the documents/ or filing, Staff will call/email me to correct the filing or get more instructions to get the documents filed. As a Legal Secretary, to have documents filed on time is very serious and necessary to avoid Court's sanctions, etc. I depend on One Legal as my right hand/assistant to get my job tasks done on a timely manner. It's so user friendly to file/ retrieve/ follow up my documents on their website.

EDIT (7/10/18): I reached out to Lisa, who responded to my review below. She looked into my situation and confirmed they DO have a Shari on the production team, who was the person who helped me. Shari confirmed the situation I explained below. Tawana, a supervisor, called to let me know this information, and that they would be reversing the courtesy copy charges, even the third charge that was the correct one, and speaking with the customer service reps who previously contacted me and told me they would not reverse the charges. Thank you for your help in resolving this issue, Lisa and Tawana. I truly appreciate it.

I usually have nothing but good things to say about One Legal, but a recent filing has changed my mind.

I had a large Motion with supporting documents to file, as well as deliver a courtesy copy to the court. It exceeded the data limit for SF County e-filing, which I learned when I received a call from Sherry, who at the time I believed to be from One Legal. Sherry walked me through some steps for reducing the size of my files and said she was canceling my order at no cost. I had to resubmit my filing with a courtesy copy add-on three times.

It turns out that the courtesy copy one-click add-on wasn't an add-on at all, but a separate order even though it was ordered at the same time, within the same screen, as the efiling. One Legal ended up delivering three courtesy copies to the court and charging our office for all three.

When I explained the situation, they said that there was no Sherry there, that she must have been from the court, and they would not be waiving the two extra charges. Keep in mind, it's only 30 dollars per courtesy copy. It won't break our bank, but it also definitely won't break One Legal's. I explained that it was a miscommunication, we had been using One Legal exclusively for years, had spent thousands with them, could they not just waive the 60 dollars?

To no avail. One Legal doesn't seem to care about gestures of good faith with loyal customers. They do their job well for the most part and the staff is usually helpful. This particular situation has changed my opinion on One Legal.

For the most part, One Legal is easy to use and the filed documents come back by the end of the day. However, on a couple of occasions, I didn't receive notice that my document was filed until a few days later; and one time, it wasn't filed at all. We had to send a runner to the Court with the confirmation that the order was placed 2 weeks earlier and the Clerk made it right.

One Legal is one of the best ECF vendors I've ever used. Customer service is very responsive and will work diligently with you to solve any problems that arise. Disclaimer: I have previously had many due to unforeseen problems on my end but the team at One Legal recognizes urgency and works tirelessly to ensure your docs get filed/delivered accordingly. Highly recommended.
