Tried contacting their customer support about a newly bought DAC (FiiO KA1) that the phone would not recognize, i proceeded to have the worst customer support experience of my life with what sounded like a teenager with absolutely no IT experience, at all.. just reading up from a script which ended at the conclusion that the accessory i bought has compatibility issues...
If OnePlus is not capable of designing a phone without a jack output and make it compatible with external DACs... Well that's something alright...
I'm never getting a OnePlus again and i would recommend anyone else the same!

Tried buying the limited edition cobalt watch only for it to be bought by bots in a matter of seconds, total disgrace of a company. But as long as they make their money right? bahahah bloody joke.
Avoid this Company
I really don't know to start with this review, the experience is nothing short of a disaster. This company does not know the meaning of customer service, a company in disarray, a company that will surely fall on it's sword if management and Mr Lau don't improve things drastically. I've not had any previous dealings with this company. I decided to utilise the trade-in offer and dispatched my iPad Pro 2017 via DHL prepaid label supplied by Oneplus. The iPad reached the partner warehouse in France on the 28th of July 2021 and then nothing, no acknowledgement of the safe receipt, absolutely nothing. I contacted customer services via online chat and I was told to wait 5-8 days, still no update. I then wrote to the CEO Mr Peter Lau and raised my concern over the missing iPad Pro, you guessed it, absolutely no response. I contacted customer service asking to return the iPad I no longer wish to place an order for the Oneplus. I received an email from Arthur Morgan senior customer service 6th of August asking to wait for 3-5 days the issue had been escalated. I then received another email Monday from Arthur Morgan on the 9th August 2021 stating “please wait 3-5 days”. I immediately contacted Arthur via email and instructed him to return my iPad, failure to return my property would result in a complaint to the CCPC in Dublin and report the iPad stolen to the local Garda. Please avoid this company, my advice read the reviews on Trustpilot, Oneplus appears to be a failing company.

With the worst customer service!
Don’t do the mistake that I did and bought a phone from this untrustworthy company. I bought a phone and realized that the fingerprint doesn’t work properly. I tried several times to contact the customer service and either change or return the phone. But only thing that I heard was “we are sorry” but we can not change it!
Go for a real brand if you want to buy a phone not this home made phones!
Do not buy (at least the Nord)
I had a OnePlus One and then a Two. I used both of those until they just wore out or were broken. I was always very happy with them and felt I received maximum value for money. So I looked to them for a replacement and went for the Nord as it had rave reviews and supposedly a great camera.
Well, the camera is really bad and worse than on my Galaxy S3 I had eight years ago. There's just no excuse for this. Additionally the phone does not feel as fast as the specs would have you think.
As I understand it, the hardware is good so it's just an unwillingness to fix the software and that makes OnePLus a must-avoid brand for me.
Stuck With Faulty One Plus. Customer Service Useless.
As a long time customer I now will never buy or recommend a One Plus phone again.
Their tactic seems to be to ask you to send the faulty phone back for repair (one plus 7 in this case), then they return the phone unrepaired. When you complain they ask you to send back again... and again.... and again, hoping you will get fed up. It's an effective policy as I AM fed up and have now accepted they have no intention of resolving the issue to my satisfaction. So when I do get a replacement phone it will not be a One Plus. I was even prepared to accept an older model and they wouldn't assist.
I would highly recommend AVOIDING THESE PHONES if you are looking for effective after sales support.
