The worst customer service imaginable

The worst customer service imaginable. They sell an amazing product, with no confidence or support in their product. After 6 months and 12 miles my board's front sensor went out. I had an XR, an $1800+ board and because 6 months lapsed they wouldn't send me a replacement. I had to purchase a new sensor and because "they don't sell front and back separately" I had to purchase both. Then my charger stopped working, again after warranty. So I tried to take advantage of a holiday sale and buy a new charger since they are over $100 retail. They took the XR off the homepage and I selected the wrong charger. They refused to honor the discount and send me the correct charger, I had to purchase a new one at full retail. They don't stand behind their products that cost a pretty penny. I certainly won't recommend anyone purchase the money pit that is OneWheel. Firmly believe the product is amazing, a blast, but THE SUPPORT IS UNBEARABLE!!!

Wont uphold warranty, terrible company. My one wheel stopped working…

My one wheel stopped working alltogether after a couple months of regular use. I was prompted to solve the issue myself befor contacting future motion via future motion website. Ended up sending it in and they voided the warranty do to tampering they claim. Even though the battery, module , and circuit board” werent performing up to specifications”. So pretty much the whole board. And are now charging me over $ 800. Terrible experiance. I will cancel my GT order

Worst customer support ever and not shipping until January 27th!?!?

Honestly, ordered the GT new model and excited to get it. Saw articles talking about 5-7 business days for shipping. Cost over 2,500 bucks. After placing it, see that it won't even be shipped u til January 27th. No thank you. Not gonna pay almost 3k and wait two months for a onewheel.

Also, when trying to cancel, this company made it veeerrryyyy hard as there is no support at all beyond articles which suck and don't help at all. Had to go out of my way to locate any phone number to try and get ahold of someone. Was finally able to cancel this trash customer support and long wait after two days of trying to learn how to.

Also, after reading about some the warranties, which look like trash for a 3k purchase, decided not to trust this and just use something that is time tested aka a bike.

Don't waste your money and time. Other options are out there which have better warranties, much better customer support for a 3k order, and will be delivered quicker.

Big thumbs down on this company. Just get an ebike for the same price.

Disgusting company

Disgusting company, sueing companies making aftermarket modifications, actively and openly ANTI Right to Repair, its like they seriously hate the community and just really dont care at all if we like them or not, as much as i love riding my XR, what i love about it is my extended range battery my comfortable aftermarket footpads, my carvy aftermarket tire, the stock board is boring , go buy something else this company is going to put it self out of business by actively pushing the community away

Buyer Beware

Heads up! Future Motion only warranties their Onewheel for 6 months. That's astonishing for a $1,000 - $2,000 machine. It clearly speaks to their level of faith in the product. I purchased the Pint and after only 9 months and NO crashes the front footpad malfunctioned. There was no visible damage on the pad at all, but Future Motion refused to cover the cost of a replacement. 9 months and the product breaks from normal use? Pretty weak.

Overall it was a bad experience

Overall it was a bad experience. The "Deep Shack" rack arrived damaged, and I requested a new one since it was a Father's Day present. I feel embarrassed for Future Motion. On a $2000 order I was offered a $10 refund If I will keep the rack. I got a response in an e-mail, "We pride ourselves on making quality products and want to make sure they arrive to you in good condition. Please allow us to make this right." With a $10 refund? Are you serious? I'm not looking for free stuff. That is why you got the damaged rack back even before you shipped the new one. On a $2000 order you tried to shut my mouth with a $10 rebate. Shame on you. If you so pride yourselves on making quality products and want to make this right you should offer to keep it and immediately send a new one. I would expect this from a Chinese company selling some cheap stuff on Amazon; they would offer $10 so I will not send a damaged product back. I would not expect this from Future Motion.

Buyer Beware

Horrible experience. The board has broken twice on me now. Each repair has costed me hundreds of dollars. The footpad sensor in the front is so sensitive if you look at it the wrong way it breaks. I would not recommend buying a one wheel and go with a Boosted Board or anything else!!!!! Buyer beware!!!!

Repair GOUGING and HORRIBLE warranty

Had onewheel pint for 1 year, less than 50 total miles. It stopped working several miles from home. Sent it back to future motion who told me it was out of warranty and that the internal board needed to be replaced....at a total cost of $412. Given that I spent $900 brand new this seems totally ridiculous. Super bad business practice - those components should be made to last way longer than 50 miles. The "service" team actually said that using the board less is probably what caused it to break. ?!!?!? unreal.

Loved the product when it worked

Loved the product when it worked, but only used it less than 80 miles in less than 1 year, followed the guidelines given, and battery failed and board would not power on. Battery isn't included in the 1 year warranty. They want $500 to repair. Clearly a defect in the battery, and I would understand if it had a lot of miles or a lot of charging cycles but this one was meticulously maintained and is clearly a defect in the production. Purchased two units at the same time, one completely failed the other no issue. Dropped $3k and company won't stand behind it.

Only reason I don’t give them a one is…

Only reason I don’t give them a one is because they made a ridiculously fun product, but a flawed one at that. Had my board for two months riding delirium and loving it when one day I crashed but not hard on the board. The board was much much slower to the point I was scared to push forward. I sent the board to one wheel fully expecting and problem only to have it returned with “no issues” the board then worked fine after it came back for some reason and just today it started to act sluggish even when I cycle through modes and manually set the board to delirium. I don’t want to send it in again because they try to get out of fixing the board or don’t offer any explanation as to why it may be happening. It’s incredibly frustrating and one of the worst customer service/policies ever and I work for the monopoly of the railroad so I know. Future motions needs to severely rethink their business structure and how they interact with customers who spend ridiculous money for a flawed board! Future Motion as a company is flawed, but the board they make is amazing, but has issues as you can read on any Reddit page about people complaining non stop about their customer service and board issues! I’m fine if it needs to be recalled or
Refurbished just be straight with us customers and help us out when we help your company out buying $2k machines.

The onewheel itself is excellent

The onewheel itself is excellent. The customer service is terrible. I've had 5 brand new fenders that were all junk and cranked and disintegrated bolt holes almost immediately. I contacted them with photos and they did nothing to correct it. They are $85 each plus shipping. I have an aftermarket fender now and its great. Going to last forever. Do not buy parts from them.

Future motion is a stellar company

Future motion is a stellar company and their customer service has been really good for me so far. I have a Pint, a Plus, and an XR and I have had no problems what so ever. Don't listen to these haters.
