Hi, I have been using OnlineCourseCost since January 2023. I find it user friendly for setting up classes. It's clear to my clients how to register and access the courses. I've gotten great feedback and now I'm recommending it to my website clients. If you're looking for a reliable company for a course platform with a great team for customer service I recommend you grow with them.

I switched from Teachable to online course host about a year ago. I use it to sell online courses, digital downloads, eBooks and meditations. I love how user friendly and easy to use it is. I am more passive in my courses and it is literally set and forget for what I'm selling. The support is great. I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience with OnlineCourseHost.com. I'm actually amazed that the platform has been charging the amount that is almost a 1/3 of the price of their largest, most well-known competitor for the services and features that were actually of better quality.

I found the platform to be pretty easy to navigate when it comes to course upload and management. It also had all the features I needed as an instructor.

Finally, the two or three times that I requested support through email, I got the responses promptly, way faster than expected.

I recommend OnlineCourseHost.com not as a more affordable alternative, but actually as a better quality service out of the LMS platform I've tested.

Excellent support! I've been using OnlineCourseHost for a while but have just changed my offering to a membership model. No platform is ever perfect and there was a slight issue on this platform. From me first reporting it to when it got fixed I was kept updated on progress and the issue was given priority and was fixed within 24 hours. I really can't ask more than that and it gives me a lot of confidence to keep using OnlineCourseHost as my membership offer continues to grow.

Great customer service. Their support team responds incredibly quickly and adresses all the questions that are raised, even the subtle insecurities! I am in awe. I love how they meet me on a human level. Either they are amazing bots or just exceptionally trained and emotionally intelligent people - I hope the latter is the case :-) Please keep it up. Update: There's been a lot of back and forth with Onlinecoursehost revising their reply in response to my updated comments. I'm glad they removed the false description of the support conversation. So far, they haven't shut down the courses that were already approved in retaliation for my review. I think onlinecoursehost's current reply provides a lot of clarity about their approach and that's a good thing for anyone considering the platform. Knowing this upfront would have saved me a great deal of time and some money as it’s clearly not a good match. I've explored five LMS platforms at this point and not had any issues with the others evaluating my content in this way.

If your course fits with onlinecoursehost's vision, I recommend starting with landing page builder first to see if it works for you. I personally found it the most difficult of any of the five platforms I explored, but perhaps by the time you're reading this, they will have updated it. Since onlinecoursehost feels strongly about credentials, I’ll share that I have a BS in engineering from UC San Diego, and have done most of the updates on my website over the last 20 years. I spent two hours trying to figure it out and couldn’t get close to what I wanted. Whereas the other platforms I’ve tried, I was able to figure it and was happy with the result in less than two hours. In fairness, the process of uploading actual course lessons is one of the best I’ve encountered.

In any event, I hope these TLDR essays from me and the platform give you clarity upfront. If my review seems out of sync with the reply by the time you’re reading this, I apologize. As the platform changes its reply, my updates may seem out of context and it seems like a bad idea to keep responding.

Spiritual, Self-Help, and Alternative Health Creators: Beware of OnlineCourseHost.com’s AI based censorship. My course was rejected unless I agree to re-write the whole thing using their AI. I've tried a lot of platforms and had no issue with the exact same course.

I’m a shamanic practitioner with 25 years of experience who tried to publish my course on energetic protection from spirit attachment and negative energy on OnlineCourseHost.com. The platform blocked it at the final “Publish” step — after I’d spent significant time, energy, and money building it. I tried to work with the helpdesk for a manual review, thinking human eyes on it would allow for context, which I provided.

Their automated AI toxicity checker flagged it for promoting “pseudoscience,” even though the topic of energetic protection is recognized in many spiritual traditions and widely discussed in books and online searches. Despite adding detailed disclaimers stating my course is educational and not a replacement for mental health care, the platform repeatedly urged me to rewrite my entire course using their AI tool to pass their toxicity checks. I refused, because it would strip out the precise language and nuance essential to my work. Even after incorporating exact disclaimers they suggested, they returned to insisting on a full AI rewrite. Plus, the fact that they seemed to be using AI to write their help email responses seemed to add a bit of insult to injury.

The core issue seems to be that certain spiritual and shamanic topics simply aren’t welcome on the platform unless rephrased by AI— but they give no warning about this upfront.
If you create courses on spiritual, alternative, or non-mainstream topics, be very cautious. You could invest heavily only to find your work can’t be published unless you let AI rewrite it — potentially losing your authentic voice and message.

If you teach mainstream topics — business, tech, hobbies — this platform may work well for you. I wish I’d known all this before committing to the platform. I’ve had no issue with this on any other LMS platform I’ve explored. This AI based censorship seems to be only an OnlineCourseHost.com thing.

I am super happy to use this LMS. The support is awesome, app is easy to use. New students can be added easily, private courses can also be prepare.

One more important thing to add is, more & more features are being added each month. I am very happy to use this product.

One of the things I really value in any company or organisation is excellent customer support alongside a great product and I have to say, these guys deliver on both. The product is consistently evolving, and the customer care is outstanding.

My overall experience has been very positive. Customer service has been very helpful and responsive in solving problems with regards to domain related issues.

Be cautious about giving your email address to this organisation. Once you're on their mailing list, blocking or unsubscribing doesn't stop the spam. I've already contacted them directly, but the emails keep coming, so I've reported them to their internet service provider for spam abuse in an effort to have them blocked.

Had an issue with the drip function of the platform and the support team helped me out. It took only a few hours. Thank you - great work !!

What's most important to you? Longevity of a platform? Efficiency? Intuitive design and operations that make sense? and that don't take forever to get used to?

I've worked extensively with Podia, tried Thinktific, Teachable, Udemy and the like.. and some simply stopped operating ( like Classtra) because none of them were born or build with Ai in mind and that is where this team is hitting the Mark and are going to make your life so much more wow and amazing. You get your subject specific support at every step of the way of setting up your courses and I haven't seen anything like it.

Look every platform is saying making courses has never been easier because . . . or whatever they sell you on. Get away from the "easy" and get into having inbuilt AI offering you efficiency, inspiration, meaningful suggestions, helpful micro suggestions from page builder support with title and text suggestions to everything else.. really it's comparatively RIDICULOUS the level of service you get and the most important thing:

I am just now beginning to use the platform. I had an issue with my account. I contacted Help Desk and within 24 hours my issue was resolved. I appreciate the prompt support.

Excellent Course Outline layout, highly professional course look and feel.

I came from 2 other platforms: one that has basic features and other that charges for every single feature they have. OnlineCourseHost has a generous set of features and every single month they add new features, like AI in all the platform and the emailing system (great features, BTW). They have great promises for their platform, but they have deliverd so far.

However, despite all the platform's features and constant development, there's one thing that sets them apart from the rest: the support team. They're fast, friendly, and have solved everything from how to disable Google login to why the Pabbly integration was giving problems. All my support requests have been resolved quickly and accurately.

I truly made an excellent investment with OnlineCourseHost.

I paid $100 expecting a professional service, but OnlineCourseHost completely failed to deliver. The platform is buggy, support is unresponsive, and the features are not as advertised. I feel scammed and deeply regret using this service. Avoid at all costs
