Just Pay the State $60 Instead

This summer I was going to take my daughters to see their father abroad. Two months before the trip, I realized that my passport was expired and wanted to use such a service to be safe. What a joke!

First, they tell me the picture is no good. I have FedEx make another, and the day it arrives at their office, I call to make sure that they have it. The rep assures me that all is well, and the time frame to receive the passport is June 18. Also, I am assured that no news is good news, i.e., if this new photo isn't up to scratch, they'll let me know.

I stupidly trust them and wait until June 18. I call and get an extremely rude woman who knows nothing, can apparently check nothing, but says I'll get a call the next day. I don't. I call the day after and the rep (all the male reps are actually polite), basically admits that the photo I sent wasn't checked. THEY HAD HAD IT FROM MAY 23 TO JUNE 18 AND HAD NOT EVEN CHECKED IT!

On June 24, they finally send it on to the State Department. I got the passport far too late to go anywhere, and guess which photo is in the book? THE FIRST ONE THAT THEY TOLD ME WAS UNACCEPTABLE.

So what did I pay $200 for? For some people to falsely critique FedEx's first photo, sit on their hands for several weeks, and then send it on? I am looking into avenues to make more serious complaints about this "business".

P.S. You know how there's an automated message at the beginning of these phone calls asking you to stay online to rate their service? Yep, I got hung up on all three times.

Everything was done exactly as they…

Everything was done exactly as they said it would be. I made a mistake on the timeframe I needed my passport and they changed it for me and refunded the difference. Received my passport book and card in under 30 days.

Wile ordering and putting my payment…

Wile ordering and putting my payment info I ment to do it on reserve. That’s my fault however wile trying to contact the company the number said it was disconnected and my emails are saying that it hasn’t gone through. It screams scam to me

Happy traveler

I was very happy with the service I received. My passport was renewed and sent back in less time than promised and my old passport was returned under separate cover. Very pleased.

Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible. I received a notice that my application was printed incorrectly. I left numerous calls and e-mails to ask what the issue was. I never got a response and had to guess what they wanted. In the instructions sent to me regarding how to make out the check, everything was printed correctly, except the dollar value. I mean, if your form has my name, address, and date of birth correct, shouldn't the dollar value also be accurate?!? The form says, "fill out "exactly as shown" and I did just that! So, I had to send another check.... Passport was sent late and to the wrong address, even though my shipping address was correctly entered. Hardly the level of service one expects when paying a premium for a time-bound and urgent task.

We received your documents on 07/26/22 even with the errors of the application and check you received the passport in time on 08/04/22. The passport agency ships the passport to the mailing address on the DS82 application.

I needed my passport in 20 days for a trip and got it in two weeks. A bit expensive, but in a bind they delivered as promised. I also received a lot of updates throughout the process, which put my mind at ease.

RMP makes a stressful process easy — with FAST turnaround times!

I’m not one to typically write reviews, but renewing a passport, often on tight deadlines, makes for a stressful wait. With just 6 weeks to renew my passport and wait times reportedly between 8-11 weeks, I thought ‘what the heck,’ and gave the RMP via FedEx a whirl. A little spendy, sure — but it was worth a try. And boy, was it! I sent my passport to RMP/GovWorks (using 5 week service) on April 16 and have my passport in hand, today, May 9, with almost three weeks to spare before my trip. Be sure to FILL IT OUT CORRECTLY and you’ll have no issues. Too many of y’all giving bad reviews clearly struggle with incredibly basic instructions. If you’re in a pinch, I’d highly recommend RMP!

No expedited service

I had a couple of things that needed correcting. My picture had a staple that prevented the picture from processing properly and the fee changed from the time I completed the paperwork and when it was received. I sent the corrected items with overnight service. I did not hear anything after a week, so I called several times for a status. They had difficulty locating my paperwork. After 2 weeks my application was finally located and sent to the passport office for processing. Once received by the passport office it took a very short time to process andcreceive my passport. So the expedited fee I paid may have been more than I should have paid. It may have taken the same amount of time for me to handle my application without expedited service.

Scam is a strong word, but.....

Logged on to site, filled out the paperwork, paid almost $250 this company, for what? So I could call around town to the local acceptance agents and schedule an appointment? Appointments are two weeks out! Why am I paying for expedited service? NOWHERE does it say in their application process to make sure and check with the local locations FIRST for scheduling issues. These people do NOTHING but take your money, for services you could easily do on your own at the USPS passport office. Especially if you have to wait two weeks at least for an appointment. The "welcome" email even gives the impression that an appointment is waiting for you ("A reservation has been confirmed on your behalf to expedite your application. You must send us your documents by the ship date that you agreed to. Review this email carefully to ensure your order is processed effectively.") There is NO reservation made for the acceptance agent. Therefore, if there are no or extremely limited appointments available, you are stuck with that. These people have a fancy website to collect your info and then print it out in a package. That is all. Oh, and take your money. Oh, and now let's see how much trash email I get!

UPDATE: I reiterate my displeasure with this agency/process. I was able to get into a local passport office today (1 day after filling out application) only to be told that I was missing a form for a Lost Passport. YOUR SYSTEM changed that because my answers to your questions indicated that a new passport was needed. This passport agency was very patient and waited while I completed the lost form.

Then, when getting ready for final package completion, the USPS agents (2 different ones) asked for the Letter of Authorization which was not supplied. I reached out to company customer service and was informed that they did not believe there was a requirement for such a letter so they could not send one. Passport agency says yes, needed, company says no, not needed. Stuck in the middle. Paid for expedited service which is NOT happening. I believe a refund is in order. Refund requested via email sent to me from customer service - - let's see how this goes. In retrospect, going directly to the passport agency at USPS would have been much more efficient, and not cost me NEAR as much.

Based on our records, you initially signed up for our service as a lost passport application. You subsequently changed the application for a new passport. When filing for a new passport, you must go to your local post office, library or courthouse to have a passport agent seal your documents. Scammed out of 600 dollars

I purchased this service for 2 of my kids ($292.85 each). I've been trying to get ahold of anyone for a refund.

After completing the process, my next step would be to schedule an appointment with an Acceptance Agent. After contacting several locations provided by this company OnlineExpeditors, there is NO appointment available within the next 2 months. After on the call with one of their Acceptance Locations, they advised me to contact a local court house. I did and was able to get an appointment next week. Thus, this service would be not applicable and I've paid for a service that I can't use.

I've made several attempt over the course of 3 days to help advise me on this issue (as it indicated on their refund policy 3 days from purchase). I attempted to contact the company twice via chat. (I have 2 email tickets.) Secondly, I called the phone number several times. I cannot get ahold of a support agent. The only thing the phone call gets me is an automated response. I understand there is a 3 day time-frame for a full refund. This is my last ditched effort to get a hold of anyone before the 3 day time frame lapses. Interestingly, I do see there is a fairly fast response on here.

Overall, it appears paying the total of about 600 dollars is a scam as this site does not appear to have the supports or responses that a company should when charging such a significant amount of money. Which is also in correspondence to what others have reviewed.

your word choice of "Scam" is not appropriate in this matter. When getting a new passport for a child, you must go to a passport acceptance agent and get the documents sealed. Once sealed you send the documents to us, and we submit to the passport agency on your behalf. Through our relationship with the Department of State we ensure that you receive your passport within the service window you purchased. I have issued you a refund on both orders.

Got my passport renewed in less than 1 month!

Got my passport renewed in 4 weeks during the pandemic! These guys saved my booty by helping me get my passport renewed. I didn't realize my passport had to be valid for 6 months past my date of travel, so I was scrambling last minute to get my passport renewed before my trip to Dubai! They really pulled through and I got my passport the day before my flight left. My heroes!

I wish I could give 0 "zero" stars to…

I wish I could give 0 "zero" stars to this company.
On 12/30/21, I went to the post office for an appointment with the acceptance agent and I was told that they cannot process applications without a letter of authorization. The website doesn't provide this letter, this company never mention it on their website so this service doesn't work. I wish I had time to check the reviews before I choose this company. 3.3 out of 5 stars.... Can't believe.
Customer service is terrible. Lady on the phone was just yelling, she is trying to argue with you and she is so rude. I don't think they will refund my money back they stole my money but of course I have reported it to my bank already.

The current service we office does not require the LOA, but often times a Passport Adjudicator at the post office doesn't understand this.
