Only apartments were excellent to deal …

Only apartments were excellent to deal with, from booking to the actual holiday. I was able to ask questions of the agents when looking for the apartment to make sure it was in the area we wanted. They were fantastic throughout. Would definitely use them again. The web site was easy to use.

Scammers

Booked a date in may for a trip to Berlin. I then get an email reminding me that my trip is coming up soon but the dates are in April. When I contact them to inform them the dates are incorrect and that the booking was made for May, they claimed they couldn't help me and that a refund was not possible. I found this outrageous, so contacted my bank the next day and noticed then that they had charged my card in full AFTER I told them the dates were incorrect. I realized then that these guys are absolutely crooked and I would strongly suggest you do not use them!

Good place to find apartments in Europe

I've booked using only-apartments several time, with my friends or with my family. I had a problem just once when the owner of the apartment told me that the apartment was not available just one week before arriving (I booked an apartment in London). Reached onlyapartments customer service and they found us a solution. All the other reservations I've made using this website went ok.
Good website as long as you understand that they are not the owner of the apartments but just a booking website (like expedia)

WARNING for this company

Read their policy carefully!! Especially if you might need to change or cancel your trip.
Even if many objects have an ad for "Free Cancelation" this is not the the case! The trick is to get you to pay as soon as possible. Once you paid - your money is gone. If you book you will receive a payment request within seconds, just to stress to pay. It's an very old trick - and I step right in to the trap.

Useless staff and probably illegal listings

I wanted book an apartment through their website but didn't want to pay by cash on arrival and wanted an invoice. It was impossible. They didn't understand a word I said, repeated the same unintelligible phrase and finally refused over the phone. Not to be trusted.

Very very bad

I personally request do not ever book or use only aprament.I paid money thro paypal when i was there there no drive at the airport waited 2 hours and adress thay gave me there was no apartment which they gave me name and none off taxi drive no the road name .long story but on short do not ever book with them.

Dealing with Only-apartments proved to be a nightmare for me and my family

Only-apartments proved to be more than simply a huge disappointment to me and my family. They were a nightmare. We had booked a home in Havana through them for the 7 of us for 9 days, had bought our tickets to Cuba, then suddenly received notice less than 24 hours before our scheduled departure time from the US abruptly cancelling our home reservation. We tried to phone the numbers provided by only-apartments and none of our phone calls were returned, we were desperately seeking lodging at the busiest tourist time in Havana, and finally were able to book an expensive hotel from the States the nite before our departure. We had hoped to find a house for all of us once we arrived, but learned that there was literally nothing available anywhere in Havana. Only-apartments notified us in an email that they had nothing for us but suggested another expensive hotel which we had to spend most of our cash to cover, since US credit cards don't work in Cuba. Finally a relative in the US was able to book us an Airb&b for the last 4 days of our stay, but our time in Cuba was spent mostly searching for lodging and worrying about how our cash would hold out. I would never use Only-apartments again, and I feel they should reimburse me for the cost difference we were forced to pay for the 5 nights we had to spend in hotels that were out of our price range. The company was completely unresponsive and indifferent to our situation. I would never recommend them or book through them again!

Shocking. Told blatant lies!

They took full payment even though they knew accommodation wasn't available for the first night, lied that it was and when pushed they admitted that it wasn't but that they would try to find something else for that night and we could move into the other place when it was ready. Very good at taking money, and scamming people. Run for the hills!

Do not use this company!

I had a planned trip for over a month ago to LA and while I'm boarding my plane I get an email that the reservation that I've had for over a month has been canceled! They had already confirmed and charged my credit card. So I am literally left with my family of 5, going on a trip with the charges of the apartment off my card! Not phone call or explanation just that it's been cancelled. I tried to get a hold of someone and I could not get any response. The email with the cancellation even had the nerve of asking me to not hesitate using them again...never again! Don't use this company!!

Cancelled Booking

Made a booking which they say is an instant booking so should have no problems, emailed back over a week later saying owner had rejected booking?! Then i discover same apartment is listed on another website for a higher price, joke!

Complete let down

I booked an apartment in rome for 2 weeks. Just before my flight to Rome, the second person who was to be staying with me phoned to say that they were at the apartment but there was no one there - phoned the customer service line to tell them that there was no one at the apartment and the contact from the site was not responding to emails/the phone number didn't even exist. They said they would call me back, I said I would be flying on a plane and could not answer if they didn't call back within the hour. 3 hours later I landed in rome, with all of my luggage and nowhere to stay - with one missed call from them. I spent the entire night dragging my suitcases around the city looking for last minute accomodation. ended up having to stay in two different hotels and losing out on a LOT of money. When i emailed their complaints email, they sent me a 10% off a next booking voucher. I sent three more emails to say how unacceptable this was as they'd left me stranded but they never responded. Terrible company with no consideration for the safety of their clients. Especially the telephone line in Rome and someone called "Margherita Taglialatela". NEVER use this site to book anything

Good service every time, i bit pricey though

I have used this company for booking apartments in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Rome, London etc. and there has never been any trouble!
The company charges a bit pricey fee for your booking, but I think it's worth every penny! Payment for the apartments is usually done on arrival and cancellation is usually possible until last moment!

Dont use them. Rome holiday

This is a warning to others who by accident stumbled over only-apartments.
Holiday in Rome September 2016 were ruined by only-apartments.
They will, as they did to us, cheat you out of the pre booked apartment because of over booking.
We were forced out with the excuse of a gasleak and off course we left it. Just to se that other people moved In a few hours later and we were left with a dirty 2 room apartment with one bathroom in the balcony for us 6 girls. We originally booked a 4 room apartment with 3 bathrooms.
We have tried to contact them for over a month ago and yesterday we finally got an answer. 10% discount on your next booking within 3 months. OP can't get hold of the host and they seem to have zero understanding of how to handle guests.
Don't use them if you want what you paid for.

terrible experience

Have booked an apartment in Rome through only-apartments.com. Paid a deposit and got a confirmation of the reservation.
After contacting a check in agent a day in advance in order to fix a check in appointment , have been informed with no any stress that the apartment wasn't available due to an overbooking and they will allow me to proceed with a cancellation without paying a cancellation fee (?????) Seriously?? why would i need to cancel if i really needed that accommodation??
Contacting a customer office i has been informed that they will offer me a list of alternative accommodations, and i will never need to worry about finding it on my own.
late evening i finally got an email with just one alternative, way too far from the centre than the originally booked. and that was it. the day of my arrival, Saturday, i has been told that their office is not open during a week-ends and, if i wasn't agree with an alternative apartment, to proceed with a cancellation and taking care of it myself.
So i found myself already in Rome, with a heavy luggage, with no place to stay! Great start of a vacation. Find an alternative during high season, on Saturday, in Rome, wasn't easy, and i've spent way too much money trying to find a solution on last second.
Terrible experience, will never ever use "services" of this company again!!!

Don't use this company unless you're OK with a bait and switch

I just got back from Munich. I paid for an apartment for 8 in April. We get to the apartment and wait for the agent to arrive to let us in. An hour later we get an email telling us to check-in at a different address 0.5 mile away. Thinking we were just supposed to pickup keys, I go there and find out that the agent has switched our location to a shady apartment building that we never would've paid for. They split us up into 3 different small rooms on 3 different floors. This was particularly annoying since we originally wanted to stay in an apartment together. Everything about this deal was shady. The agent even told us the reason they had to move us was because of flooding. Little did she know we had already spoken to the neighbors while waiting on the agent to arrive at the original spot, and they had informed us that the owners were in a lawsuit for illegally renting out their apartment without the proper licensing. The neighbors were very nice and after this whole ordeal, I hope their lawsuit is successful. I don't know about in Germany, but in the US, bait and switch is illegal. They should feel lucky that I don't sue them as well. I've used this site to rent a place in Scotland next month, but now I'm thinking of cancelling just so I don't run into this same problem again.

Do NOT use Them

September the 16th, we arrived to our prebooked appartment, and it really looked good. We were very satisfied. It had 4 bedrooms all with tv, 3 bathrooms and a livingroom/kitchen, exactly what we had ordered.
September the 17th at 0930 o´clock, we were called by "keyholder" Domitilla, and told that we had to leave the appartment as soon as possible due to a gasleak, and we had to pack all our things, and bring them to a appartment accross the street. We are there being met by some staff which knew that we are comming. We are told to leave our luggage there and come back between 1300-1700 hours for further information. Later we returned and were told, that they had to install us in new appartment, because of the gasleak. The new appartment we got only had one bedroom with a dobblebed. 1 livingroom with a "fold-out-couch". Last but not least there was an extra room with two "camping beds". There was only one bathroom, and a "build-in-toilet" on the balcony. The toilet couldn´t flush, so we needed a bucket of water to make it flush. Also the appartment had a small "build-in" kitchen with service for only 4 people. The camping beds were not suitable for sleeping on.
Later, the same day that we had to leave the appartment, we saw that people were moved in, in our appartment with a "gasleak". There were lights all over the appartment, and we saw people in the windows.
