NO MONEY TRANSFERS! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN YOU NEED IT!!

I had a LARGE sum of money to transfer into my Onpoint Bank Account. I waited for 10 minutes on the phone, then got transfered and waited another ten minutes. Then I was told that customer service was UNABLE to help me with a money transfer EVEN with a ROUTING NUMBER AND ACCOUNT NUMBER!! CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AT ONPOINT!!! DO NOT BANK HERE!!!

Advisor Left and Company Went Silent

My husband and I began making our wills with this company but couldn’t decide whether to pay extra to set up a trust, so we asked the advisor to pause until we made a decision. When we finally decided, we discovered that the advisor had left the company. Since then, no one has responded to our emails asking for a copy of the completed will—or, if it wasn’t completed, to remove our personal details from their database. Disappointing communication and follow-up.

Dissatisfied

Initially we were really impressed with the service. We opted for mirror wills written into trust at the cost of £197. The 1st set of documents had mistakes on, we asked for them to be changed, they were but had different mistakes, we then stopped getting responses to our emails and no-one would pick up the phone. In June 18th this year we received an email saying we'd initially shown interest but not gone any further so let's book in a call. I replied saying that we had paid for the service but stopped getting responses when we asked for names to be corrected. I am still waiting for a reply.

A really positive experience with On…

A really positive experience with On Point. Even with my procrastinating each step and taking a while getting round to updating the will and getting it witnessed, Chris and later Dusty made it a painless process and we got it sorted. The only reason for a four star instead of five is a delay in response at one point but this was due to a staff member leaving and someone else taking over cases. I shouldn't have been putting it off so long! Weight off my shoulders knowing it's all in place. Thank you 😊

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service, guidance and efficiency. I would definitely recommend to those considering making a will. Made it so straightforward and simple as everything was done online. I did not know how to go about it to start with. I have already recommended to a few work colleagues.

Making a will

Dusty did a brilliant job with my will, he is very efficient and demonstrates such a high level of knowledge which he showcased both on call and when writing my will. I had more than one call with him where he gave me time to think, wasn’t pushy and gave me advice with empathy and understanding. My will was very well written and included everything I required. It’s not the nicest of things dealing with the decisions made in a will, so he certainly put my mind at ease and simplified terms that I had no clue of. Always responds to emails too! I would highly recommend to anyone! Thanks so much Dusty.

Basically scammers!

Although they were helpful when they were interested in my money and recommendations as soon as it came to their part of the deal and rewarding me for 20+ customers... I was just ignored and scammed. No vouchers as promised multiple times. I would not trust to give them anymore work and annoyed that I purchased insurance via them.

Dusty has been professional, knowledgeable and has made the entire morbid process of creating a last will and testament a much easier task than I had anticipated.
He is quick to answer emails and always attends appointments on time. In fact, I could probably set my watch to his call times.

Awful company. DO NOT TRUST…

I am trying to get hold of this Dusty…. I made a will, paid into a trust in March and only received the draft. I am trying to get hold of them. Email, call, Facebook - no luck. I have even made another appointment for tonight but they didn’t call. I have paid money to this company and nothing. I am concerned I have been mislead.

No communication

Made a will a while ago and although we did receive it, we cannot access it and despite trying to contact them many, many times, we still haven't had any contact back from onpoint to help.

Definitely recommend OnPoint Wills and Trusts to anyone looking to make a will but who may be intimidated by the process.

Dusty provided a free will for me and my partner since I am a teacher. Even though Dusty was working for free, he was so attentive and took time to answer all our questions. He drafted the will quickly and was timely when we asked him to make amendments. I would definitely recommend OnPoint Wills and Trusts to anyone looking to make a will but who may be intimidated by the process.

Paid for a Will and they have taken our…

Paid for a Will and they have taken our money but not delivered on providing any documentation of what will happen to our children should we pass away. Called them 10 times and keep being hind up on or not called back. Really frustrated. We will be exploring alternatives and a way to get our money back.

No contact

My husband and I had a will wrote and had the appointment over the phone. We were talked into paying for some extras and when we were sent the draft copy many things were wrong.
We have tried to call and the phone number on their website does not connect! The email also is not recognised.
We are now stuck with a will that is incorrect and no way of contacting them it seems!
Very disappointed!

I'm sorry you've had this. For clarity your will was provided, free of charge. The extra you paid for was a trust you wanted added. This was all provided to you over 14 months ago. Your adviser then left the firm 5 months later. We keep their email active for a further 6 months after they leave to ensure anyone contacting us on that old email is still responded to. I'm not seeing anything from yourself in that time frame, and nothing on our main contact email.

I have absolutely no idea why you couldn't get through on the phone number, and will have this looked at by IT ASAP tomorrow to ensure it's not a tech issue. We pay for a 24/7 call answering service to ensure clients can always reach us whenever it's convenient for them.

In the meantime if you can email the amendments you would like completed to our customer service email info@onpointwillsandtrusts.co.uk and we'll get these taken care of for you ASAP. If you'd like an adviser to give you a call instead, please just email on that email with your best contact details and 3 times to reach you and we'll be more than happy to help.

Beware

Very strange. Appointment arranged but no link provided and then when you call you go to an ‘overflow’ who can’t put you through to the named consultant on your confirmation email and doesn’t know anything about how the meetings are conducted. Having read these other reviews I think I swerved a curveball! Goodness know how they have so many 5* reviews on Facebook and Google…

Unfortunately Trustpilot doesn't show your contact details for us to reach you directly. For clarity, the page immediately after you register for your appointment specifically states it's a phone appointment, unless you'd like a Zoom appointment which we can do by arrangement. Most of our clients prefer to just use the phone, which is why it's the default.

To address your concerns about the overflow call handler you spoke to, our administrator who usually answers the phone has been in and out of hospital for the last few months, and we've put in place a 24/7 overflow call handling service to ensure no client ever doesn't get to leave a message with a real person, if nobody can answer the phone. If you'd left a message with them, as they request, they send it through to your adviser to get back to you.

Thanks for bringing up the hundreds of 5* Facebook and Google reviews we have. It seems to be the case that whenever anyone is happy they go there and share it, and whenever they have an issue they come to Trustpilot. Unfortunately Trust Pilot won't show those Google and Facebook reviews unless we agree to pay hundreds of pounds a year.

If you'd like to rebook your appointment, we'd love to still help you. As I said, phone is the default option, however we're happy to arrange it over Zoom or Teams if that's your preference.

Avoid like the plague!

we saw this company we’re offering a free will service after consultation so signed up to the call. After an hour of discussion and provided our personal information, they then offered their trust service for a “cut price”. We declined but were told we would still receive more info on our will the next day. It has now been 4 days since that phone call and nothing received. I’m assuming due to the fact we decided not to take up their trust service. A paid service.
I have now seen that even taking up that service would have been delayed as they don’t following through on anything based on other recent reviews. I would avoid this company completely. Waste of an hour of my evening and got nothing out of it other than someone trying to push their services.

We're sorry you feel this way. For clarity, we arranged an appointment with you at 9pm on a Sunday evening so that it could be done at a time that was convenient for you, something almost no other will provider would do. The "Outstanding Information E-mail" was sent the very next morning as promised. You text your adviser the following day to say it hadn't been received, but they were unfortunately off ill and the very next day posted this review.

We've resent the info email to you several times now, and had no response, despite reaching out on WhatsApp several times as well to help resolve this. Unfortunately tech issues, and illness does happen, but we always do our best to fix issues when they arise.

The trust service you mentioned, was because of several specific risks, for your situation, that it could help mitigate. We have a duty of care to make you aware of those risks and how you can mitigate them. Whether you take up the trust or not is entirely your choice, and not something we put any pressure on doing.

Since the start of COVID we've provided over 13000 free wills to those in education, provision of health care services, military and blue light workers. Over 80% either didn't need a trust, or were happy with the risks of not using one. It genuinely doesn't matter to us either way. It's something we offer "cut price" as you say, as we decided to discount it from the normal price, as charging full price off the back of an offer to do your will for free - just doesn't feel ethical.

We genuinely wish you the very best. If you'd like to finalise your will, we just need the outstanding information from you, and will happily complete it for you.
