Dusty was really helpful and efficient

Dusty was really helpful and efficient. I have read the reviews regarding terrible service and no call backs but that is far away from our experience. I also emailed Dusty numerous times between him writing our will and signing, asking for clarification and amendments and he did it straight away each time without fuss. Brilliant service! Thank you Dusty

Dusty was very helpful and clear

Dusty was very helpful and clear. He explained every process well over the phone. Within 4 days I had a first draft of my will sent. It was so easy and straightforward. Thank you Dusty.

I just wanted to say thanks

I just wanted to say thanks. I was going for minor surgery, but the thought of anything happening was freaking me out. I explained this to my adviser, Martin, and he told me not to worry. Calmly walked me through putting my will together, and because I was going for my operation 3 days later, made sure I had my will within 24 hours so I had complete peace of mind. A total overreaction on my side, but so glad to have my will in place now. Surgery went great, now at home recovering, thinking what a nutter Martin must have thought I was! Regardless, thanks Martin for putting an old man's mind at ease.

I have been incredibly impressed with…

I have been incredibly impressed with OnPoints professionalism and speed of service. Dusty was very knowledgeable and explained each part of the will writing process clearly. The will was emailed to me within two days. I would highly recommend this service and I already have to a number of friends. Dusty also arranged for his colleague to contact me about life insurance free of charge as well.

Don’t be tempted

Don’t be tempted. Really good service initially but then they don’t actually finish or follow anything up. Still waiting for a will and trust to be finalised that we started in October. They’re currently not responding at all and we’re in the process of lodging formal complaints.

Absolutely shocking company

Absolutely shocking company. They were recommended for will writing through my fiance's employer(teacher) and yet they haven't finalised our wills in over 18 months. Advisors, will writers have left the company but it's no excuse to stop communicating. They have stopped responding to emails and requests for a refund and complaints. I have called three times and been diverted to an overflow call handling company that simply email on messages. Call back requests made three times over an approximate one month period and you guessed it no callbacks made. Call handling company cannot put you through to the company or refer to a manager. I honestly believe they are deliberately vague and difficult to contact in the hope you will just go away so they can keep the money and run. Do not deal with this company. Shocking customer service and seemingly morally corrupt!

Do not use this company

Absolutely disgusted with the service provided. Appointment in June to then still be waiting now for a service paid for. Communication is abysmal. Cannot find your formal complaints procedure and your receptionist doesn’t know about it either. Do not use this company!

Fantastic service

Fantastic service! Steven helped us get our first mortgage and we really appreciate how simple he made the whole process. We didn't really understand what needed to happen and how it all worked, and he took the time to explain everything clearly and answer all our questions. Will be recommending to friends, and will definitely be using again when our fixed rate is up. Thanks Steven.

Avoid.

Elisha rescheduled my appointment the day of the meeting. Then never called for the rescheduled appointment. Wouldn’t recommend.

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. I picked up on their offer of free wills for teaching staff which tied in with me looking to get one done anyway. Initially, all seemed good. Flowing communication, a decent call with a representative and a follow-up with another which, as it turns out, I didn't really need regarding putting things into estate that I wasn't after.

And then the waiting. And waiting. And no response to emails. After a month I finally got a reply from their offices. The person who had done my will had left the company and I had fallen through the cracks. OK, this kind of thing happens. Another call was arranged and I went through everything again with someone new, including organising a Power of Attorney for which I paid the initial fee.

And then the silence again. And promises of calls back. And the realisation that the PoA didn't seem right as I'd initially been quoted more than I was charged. Eventually I got a response, and the PoA had been done incorrectly (English instead of Scottish) and would be rectified.

Only it wasn't. More promises of calls (from staff, managers, etc), none of which materialised. Eventually, while chasing, I noticed a refund on my credit card. No explanation. I received one further email from office staff stating that the I should have had a call offering an explanation along with the refund, but of course I never got one.

I absolutely 100% would not trust this company to tie my shoelaces, let along manage my finances. Yes, I got my will through (after over two months) but the lack of communication and seeming lack of care for paying customers is staggering. Avoid.

Highly recommended service

Lorenc has spent many hours on the phone with me, and my wife, discussing the most appropriate will and separate life health cover. I was very impressed with his professionalism and courtesy throughout. He has listened carefully to our needs and has provided a product tailored to our circumstances. I have no hesitation in recommending him, and the OnPoint company to anyone in need of either service. He was patient and understanding, and although he gets commission, I never felt under any pressure to buy or make any commitment. Very pleased with the service. 5 stars!
