Had to rewrite this review as the company didn’t like the direct feedback. Instead I’ll summarise it as a reflection of our personal experience.

In our opinion this broker’s approach is flawed. Rather then present us with a list of
conveyancing firms tailored to our individual requirements, they sent us directly to PCS Legal. A quick look at their client reviews gives you insight to their questionable reputation. Unsurprisingly, they fell well short of expectations. At times I was essentially doing their role with contacting third parties etc. Our dealings were with paralegals who excelled in making mistakes, some of which have had financial impact. PCS Legal have admitted these in writing to us, but denied any meaningful compensation, so the Legal Ombudsman has been called on.

It’s our opinion that On the Moov should take some responsibility for the actions of the conveyancing firm forced upon us. Unfortunately, at this time of writing, On the Moov don’t fall under the regulation of Legal Ombudsman, so your only recourse to financial loss would be the Small Claims Court.

Personally, despite the attractive price point, I would not recommended. Instead, get quotes from a major high street lender’s conveyancing section. This will help ensure that you receive a good service, of which PCS Legal did not provide us with.

I thoroughly regret using this firm for a (very straightforward) conveyancing - and I'm sorry to have to post this poor review.

Ollie has done his best, from the beginning when the website failed to alert him to my purchase of the (mid range) conveyancing package and so, despite my having paid the money, nothing happened. Ollie worked late one evening to catch up.

However everything went downhill from there when Ollie allotted the conveyancing to Hutchins Law. Despite all the good reviews here on Trustpilot (and perhaps due to some reorganisation at Hutchins Law?) this firm proved a nightmare from the start.

So now I am having to take this very straightforward conveyancing matter (cash purchase, no chain on either side, etc.) somewhere else.

In fact I'm having to start all over again with another conveyancer - five weeks and two days into the conveyancing. (And I'm going to have to prepare a case for the ombudsman into the bargain - when I should be getting ready to move.)

So, despite Ollie himself being a good guy, the service has been an utter failure and a rotten experience.

I'm afraid there is no way I would make any recommendation about Onthemoov except - avoid it.

I used onthemoov as was only selling and felt their fixed fee and reviews were outstanding. The service I received from.both was exceptional. Strongly recommend.

In my opinion, buying a leasehold in the UK is already a bureaucratic horror show, an ancient, parasitic ecosystem of middlemen all clinging to your transaction like barnacles. Every one of them gets fed, and the only people who get nothing but stress and invoices are the buyer and seller. And just when you think the gauntlet could not possibly get more bloated, along comes OnTheMoov, proudly inserting itself as yet another pointless toll booth on an already miserable road.

Let us be honest: the estate agents are ornamental at best, mortgage brokers are paid to press buttons you could press yourself, and banks move with all the urgency of a sedated sloth. Solicitors are necessary, but they certainly do not need a handler. So what exactly does a solicitor broker contribute In my view: less than nothing.

Before their overly involved leader Ollie even jumps in with excuses, let me make one thing extremely clear. My bank required a deed of variation on the lease. The seller and the management company were the same entity. Their turnaround time for approval was roughly three days. So no, that does not remotely explain the five months of stagnation that followed. Not even close.

Solicitors already take clients directly. There is no universe in which you need OnTheMoov to find one for you. In fact, using them feels like willingly surrendering your ability to choose competence. They do not match you with a reputable firm. You could call it a matchmaking service only if the goal was to set you up with the cheapest, most overworked, least effective conveyancers they can funnel clients into. You get no choice, no insight, no escape. Just whatever name gets spat out of their bargain bin roulette wheel.

My assigned firm turned what should have been a straightforward, chain free purchase into a five month endurance test of incompetence. They dragged their feet so completely that I ended up doing half the work myself directly with the seller, because relying on them was like sending my case into a black hole. A property with share of freehold, no chain, and minimal complexity should not resemble an archaeological expedition into the ruins of customer service, and yet here we are.

OnTheMoov, in my experience, is the very definition of a hit and quit operation. They take their cut, dump you into the conveyancing equivalent of a cattle processing facility, and disappear. They have no leverage, no accountability, no influence, just a business model built on inserting themselves where they provide absolutely zero value. Their customer service, in my opinion, manages to combine indifference with arrogance, a truly stunning achievement.

If I could give one piece of advice, it would be this: save your money and stay as far away from OnTheMoov as humanly possible. The conveyancing process is already drowning in dead weight. You do not need to pay for an extra brick to tie around your neck.

First thing to note is that onthemoov are not property conveyancers themselves. Instead they are simply brokers who pair you (as a buyer or seller) to a solicitor/conveyancing firm to take on your case.
Having had a competitive quote from onthemoov I decided to go ahead with them. Shortly after I was informed which conveyancing firm I would be paired with. After checking reviews of this firm (TP Legal, formerly Hutchins & Co) I found a very mixed bag of opinions and not a very strong track record. At that point I asked to be assigned to a different firm with a more favourable reputation, citing several negative reviews as the basis for my request. Onthemoov simply told me I could not do this without paying more money and assured me that they only work with highly reputable firms. This turned out to be false.
I am now over 4 months into a house purchase with no chain on either side, with no completion or even exchange date in sight.
Initially TP Legal/Hutchins & Co seemed quite promising. My case handler was prompt and helpful. However after around a month, email responses seemed to stop. A month goes by with no communication whatsoever, despite multiple emails and phone calls made. Eventually I was told that my paralegal had been off sick from work for a month and no one had bothered to pick up his workload, so essentially nothing had been done for an entire month! Unacceptable.
A new paralegal was assigned to my case, and it has all been extremely slow, frustrating and confusing since. I was then told that Hutchins & Co were imminently being taken over by TP Legal, which I feel has further delayed any progress while the companies merge.
So here we are over 4 months since the process began and still have not completed. It takes several days for emails to be responded to, and when they are they are of limited use and read like they were written by an AI.
I have complained to onthemoov repeatedly, who can only chase up Hutchins & Co/TP Legal themselves but as they are not a firm, they can’t do anything more than that.
Overall I can’t recommend TP Legal/Hutchins & Co, nor onthemoov as they appear to only provide competitive quotes by working with unreliable firms with poor service.

When I first phoned up to enquire about land registry, Ollie was very polite, professional. and very helpful. I explained what I wanted and he put me onto two solicitors that I needed.when I had a little bit of a problem I phoned up Ollie and he sorted it out Straight away, actually, I phoned up Ollie on numerous occasions and nothing was too much trouble. and was always happy to help.I couldn’t fault the experience that I have had with Ollie and would highly recommend his service to anybody that needed steering in the right direction.

Terrific service, instructed a freehold purchase under the middle option, I was happy to go with the top option as i wanted it done quickly, however after speaking with Ollie, we ran through the details and he advised the middle one, which was a breath of fresh air not upselling the highest option so I made my decision on that call and I’m very glad I did, they referred me to Hutchins and Co whom I had a great experience with, from contract to completion we got there in 9 weeks, have already recommended them to a colleague and will continue to do so!

I took a punt on using Onthemoov after a couple of detailed coversations with Ollie. Ollie gave me an affordable option for a straight forward chain free sale that no other solicitor could provide for me. Having read all the other happy customer reviews detailing the speed and commitment of the partnership solicitors, I decided to sign up. Less than 6 weeks later and I have already completed the sale on the property and I couldn't be more delighted. Thank you so much Ollie and thank you also Deniz from Hutchins Law / TP Legal who were on the email and phone to me at all stages. I don't believe I could have received a better service from anyone. I would recommend your services to all and plan to use you again in the near future. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

Ollie recommended Hutchins and Co and they were excellent. I would almost go as far as to say no fuss. They were helpful, proactive and i didnt feel stressed during the process. The whole act from accepting offer to completion was executed in 3 months which I think is excellent for a London flat sale. It was extremely good value for money.

We had struggled to get a local company to carry out our house purchase, so we decided to try an internet search. Ollie Gooding couldn't have been more helpful, and the price and package were very competitive.

I have changed the score on my review from a 1 to 3 to reflect that the comments below as based on the service we received from the solicitors, PSC Legal and not Onthemoov.
Ollie was always helpful and polite, and did try his best to resolve all the ongoing issues, however the solicitors were provided by Onthemoov and this in itself is disappointing and resulted in a very stressful experience.

Extremely disappointing, the sale of our flat was handled very poorly from start to finish.
We were quoted a timescales of 12 to 16 weeks, this ended up being over 6 months!
Long delays, emails and calls often went unanswered, I was even told our case was not a priority!
Made to feel a nuisance just for chasing updates. What should have been a straightforward sale, no chain, became drawn out and extremely stressful because of the lack of communication and care.
The only exception was Donna, the one person who took time to call me back. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out.
Overall it was a hugely stressful draining experience that I would not want others to experience.

Ollie was brilliant from start to finish. He was punctual, professional, and went above and beyond to make the whole process smooth and stress-free. Communication was clear throughout, and he handled everything with great care and efficiency. I couldn’t recommend Ollie and Onthemoov enough — top-class service that I would definitely use again.
