I was interested in becoming one of…

I was interested in becoming one of their dealers. I attended all the calls and the webinar. I had some questions first about the warranty. They have been around for two years. They offer a five-year warranty which is fine but the catch is they don’t cover any labor. They expect you to replace it for free and they’ll send you their $50 worth of materials and then expect you to do the $2000 job for free. So you go back out to the job , clean their roof, wait for it to dry , remix and then reapply and product clean it all up and then drive back and your not reimbursed for any of it ?! I brought this up in their webinar and the guy read the question out loud and then completely ignored it. I then got another call from them following up and when I brought it up to that guy, he started having “connection issues”. I could hear him clear as day. Everything he said all the hello can you hear me and then he suddenly says “I’ll call you back and see if I got better connection “. Surprise , I never heard from them again. How are you gonna warranty your product that you don’t even believe in? Atleast enough to cover labor at all so it goes back on the dealer not on the manufacturer that’s crazy to me. It seems like a bunch of children are running the show there with the way they handle everything. I’m still interested in the idea but not with this company. I didn’t even get to the hard questions about sending copies of the reports the allege have been done and makes their product so amazing and better than the others.

Proceed with extreme caution

Proceed with extreme caution — very polished sales process, but far too little verifiable information

My experience with OnYaRoof left me with a lot of concerns and questions that were never adequately answered.

The sales team is extremely professional, persuasive, and well-trained. In fact, that may be the most impressive—and concerning—part of the experience. The presentation was incredibly polished and intricate, and the sales tactics were extremely effective. There was significant pressure to make a decision, close the deal, and pay, rather than being given adequate time and information to independently evaluate the product and company.

When I raised concerns and asked whether the company might be a scam, the response felt defensive rather than simply providing clear, independently verifiable information that would put those concerns to rest.

What bothered me most was the lack of information outside of the sales presentation. I was not provided meaningful follow-up documentation that answered the questions I had. No customer references were provided. I couldn’t find sufficient independent information about the product itself. I also had difficulty finding substantive information about the CEO/company leadership. For something involving a significant financial commitment, I expected considerably more transparency.

To be clear, I do not have concrete proof that OnYaRoof is a scam, and I am not claiming that it is. That’s important. My concern is that the amount of confidence being asked from the customer seems disproportionate to the amount of independently verifiable information being provided.

The salespeople are exceptionally good at what they do. The entire process is sophisticated, professional, and convincing. But that is not the same thing as having independently verifiable evidence that the underlying product and business are a good investment.

My advice to anyone considering OnYaRoof is to slow the process down, don’t allow yourself to be pressured into paying or signing immediately, and do your own extensive due diligence outside of anything provided by the salesperson. Ask for references, documentation, independent product information, company history, leadership information, and time to review everything.

Maybe there is a perfectly legitimate explanation for all of my concerns. But until those questions can be independently answered, I would proceed with extreme caution and skepticism.
