Absolutely great from start to finish. Couldn't praise them highly enough. Special mention to Rachael Passmore who looked after me from start to finish. She looked after every detail. Her commun... See more

Open Law were really helpful in the sale of our property, giving honest advice and keeping up the communication with us throughout.
Really great communication and knowledge of my case whenever I called. Proactive and also reliable when saying they would come back to me about things. This is the third time I have had to use conveyancing services and this was my best experience by a long way.
I dealt with Emily's team and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Special shoutout to Becky who kept me thoroughly updated at all points during the sale. My buyers solicitor was slow and raised the same enquiries multiple times but Emily and Becky kept things moving forward and if I didn't have them working for me we would still be going round in circles and nowhere near completion. I have now completed and cant thank Openlaw enough.
I have given a 1 star review as they did manage to carry out the sale of my house, Open law were recommended by a local estate with a good reputation.
however that is where the good stuff ends as the following 16 weeks was a catalogue of bad information, bad communication, bad leadership, poor professional conduct from a team leader who when she was caught out blatantly lying to a customer who by the way was paying her salary she accused him of shouting at her and being aggressive which did not happen and as the telephone conversations are taped she maybe will listen to it and hear how childish and unprofessional she sounded.
the sale of the house I am sure only completed as the Estate agent Sam and Ava (Martin Thornton)who was selling the property took over and led the conveyancing team through the difficult part of the sale as the did not have a clue how to deal with it.
Then when I did get to a completion I checked the Invoice and found that I had been charged £260 + Vat for something that was not used in the sale.
and while I see a lot of 5 and 4 star reviews I believe that a truer picture comes from the 1 star reviews plus
Emily's team appears to be mentioned a lot in the poor reviews, the team is not the issue the leaders are from Luke to Emily that's the issue with this business pick up on the poor reviews and you will improve, there are enough telling you have poor communication, poor customer service poor attitude towards customers. Its your business Luke are you happy with such a high 1 star rating?
Being under ‘Kims Team’ for the sale of our house, I was in contact with Emma, Courtney & Linzi. I spoke to these girls more than I did my own mum at one point, but they never seemed to be bothered by my constant calling and would update me when they knew anything. Selling our house was rather difficult as we were working with solicitors that weren’t very helpful, but the women at Open Law were chasing them daily & were communicating to me whenever they had an update for me. I am very thankful for the work Kim, her team & the director of Open Law put in for us.
Thankyou!
Hollie was very helpful in the sale of my property.
Brilliant team that got us through the process of selling our home quickly and efficiently.
Really helpful team. A big thank you to Emily, Kim, Becky, and co for efficiently guiding me through my purchase.
I have used Open Law, Kim Taylor's team for the purchase of a property and then again for the sale of a property. On both occasions they have been extremely efficient and made the processes stress free. Thank you
Hollie recently dealt with the sale of my home. She did an excellent job under difficult circumstances as there was another party involved and communication had broken down between us. There was always open & honest conversations and I was kept updated all the way through the process.
I would have no hesitation in using Open Law again or recommending them to family and friends.
Hollie dealt with the sale of my late mum's home, she did an excellent job, she replied to my emails promptly, and was always available via phone if I needed to call to ask a quick question, I couldn't be more grateful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Open Law to family and friends.
Outstanding law firm who acted on several BTL sales for us. Great commutation, friendly staff. Really proactive when chasing up the other side. First class. Would definitely recommend and will use again.
Would like to thank Luke and his team for his many kind services and for noticing what would of been a problem in the future with my purchase of a garage etc, I would definitely recommend this solicitor to my friends and relations
Great experience, Open law made the whole buying process really easy. Communication was quick and informative at all times and any questions were addressed quickly and in full... I would 100% recommend them as a solicitors firm.
I need a Deed of Variation to be registered before getting a remortgage. Rachel and her team are doing their best to push it through, but it's a bit of a nightmare process. If they manage to persuade the Land Registry to get their act together before the mortgage offer expires they will get another 5 stars. So far so good......!
Agree with negative reviews. Had to reach out for updates, communication not great. We were very quick to send documents as requested which was pricey as we are sending from the States but they will not return our items to the States, they will only send to a UK address which isn't really fair as we were very quick and compliant in sending things overseas, they should do the same. Wish we had used a private, smaller firm for this transaction. If it weren't for them refusing to send our important documents back to the States, they would have received three stars.
We are extremely happy with the service we got at the open law solicitors ..
Our house purchase legalities were dealt swiftly and thoroughly by Sophie .
She made the entire process very easy for us to understand and was always ready to help and explain the details .
We would highly recommend their service
Open Law assisted with the sale of my property and did a good job. The staff are all approachable and helpful and carried out all parts of the process as promptly as possible. Being an overseas customer, I found the online communication, document signing and exchanges very convenient and time-saving.
Helped us draw up our Will
They were very helpful and explained the process and the wording within the will. Gave advise etc.
Very happy with their help on this
Absolutely awful! Never gave us an update on the sale of our property. Took much longer than it should have. Always said they’d call you back but never did. Really dragged things on. Would never recommend open law to anyone.
