Studying Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) with Open College was a meaningful journey for me. I had many ups and downs during my studies because balancing full-time work and study was not easy. I would like to thank Mel, my assessor and trainer, who always responded to my emails and enquiries. Thank you for your encouragement, patience and assistance throughout my studies. I also appreciate Selafina, the Education Support Coordinator, who helped arrange my placement. The placement process and studies were not an easy path, but they gave me valuable experience and confidence. The knowledge from this course gives you a broader picture of what you will do in your future job scope in aged care. It helped me understand the responsibilities, communication and care required in this industry. Thank you Open College for supporting my learning journey.
