This company uses reputable companies to carry out their jobs and then doesn't pay when invoiced. We carried out 2 jobs for this company and to date have not been paid.

They have blocked our number and do not respond to emails.

NOT TRUST WORTHY COMPANY!

This company took my bank details and made unauthorised payments without prior notice! The plumber dragged his feet was not happy with the payment Optical Facilities made to him, he then pressured me to pay him as well! It was a simple leak on some pipe work, they charged me £700 and plumber wanted £200 from me as well. Optical kept my bank details for weeks then made further payments. Luckily my bank paid me back the money because it was fraudulent transactions! Avoid Avoid Avoid at all cost!

YOU ARE WARNED

All the five star reviews are done by their own staff or owners! Don’t believe them! They took my bank details kept them for weeks and made three unauthorised payments. I had to notified my bank and cancel my card otherwise they could continue to make more payments! They shouldn’t be still in business they are a bunch of scam artists! It took them 5 days to fix a simple leak, is unbelievable, then the plumber also chase me for more money! You have been warned, please choose a different company not this one, you will be sorry if you use them. I was conned almost 1K for a simple leak on a pipe leading to a boiler! Their website look legitimate believe me there are a lot of dodgy companies operating in UK and this is one of them! I have been a landlady for 10 years I’ve seen a lot and experienced a lot, this is by far the worst company I ever come across! Oh I believe some plumbers they hired complained about them too, they said they never got paid or paid too little! The reviews are fake, done by the scam artists or paid people a fiver for each post! My daughters used to get free samples for exchange of a good review, is easy! £150 per hour they will taaaaaaaaake their time. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK DETAILS BEFORE ANY WORK CARRIED OUT, THAT WAS MY HUGE MISTAKE!

Engineers beware!
Called by this company to carry out a repair. Assured payment would be made within 5 days. Underpaid invoice and still waiting from months ago. Avoid.

Great Service

I was really pleased with the service from Optical based in Essex, they arranged for a superb Plumber/Heating Engineer called Ashley based in Southampton who sorted out an on going problem with our upstairs radiators really well many thanks.

We were looking for a 5…

We were looking for a 5 star Electrician and Googled it! The Optical engineer arrived quickly and was a lovely guy, really knew his stuff when we asked him questions regarding the problem, he also gave us some cool suggestions for other LED lighting options in our kitchen, which we will probably get them back to do. Overall great service

Exceptional service!

Can’t thank Aaron at customer services enough! I had a leak in my ceiling, going into the electrical lighting. I called optical and spoke with Aaron (he was amazing, please pass on my thanks!), he had a qualified engineer come out within the hour to fix the leak and carry out a safety check of all the other electrics. From beginning to end, my dealings with this company have exceeded my expectations. Very impressed and I will be using them again.

Solicited by this call centre to attend and carry out a repair. Assured payment would be made within 5 days. Underpaid invoice and waiting, weeks later, for remittance.

Late Saturday Night…

i phoned Optical Facilities late Saturday night as I had a water leak in my heating unit. I spoke to a gentleman , I believe his name was Aaron, and explained my problem. He phoned me back within 10mins to say a plumber was on his way. The plumber arrived within 20mins and solved the problem. Excellent service all round. will use again.

A great team from office to engineers…

A great team from office to engineers who provided detailed options and explained each one so I could make the right decision. The change of boiler was not straight forward but the optical engineer was friendly, professional and went above what I thought to complete the job to a high standard. Very grateful to this company who were quick to respond in the first place and have gained a happy customer who would recommend to anyone.

Very disappointed

The gentleman I spoke to was very polite and very informative, however, when it got to finishing my booking and being advised I HAD to give my card details or they couldn't attended I was a bit taken aback. It is such a shame as I see so many good reviews that my experience wasn't the same as some other.

I then received a call back to save the me going to another company but given the same advice!

Needless to say i still have the rodents in my loft....

Note of advice, in the current climate with so much uncertainty being asked for card details after a few minuets speaking is not the way to conduct business in my view.

Thanks for your response, as stated I have no issues paying with a card however didn't want to give these upfront I was more than willing to supply these details whilst you e pest engineer was onsite.

You have now report this due to be harmful or abusive remarks however this is simply saying how a consumer feels! This is maybe why you have so many 5 stars because people actual views are being removed!

As discussed on the phone to you earlier today, we did state that we would not be able to proceed without providing card details to secure your booking.

You did state to the agent that you would discuss with your partner review our terms and conditions as per our website and get back to us with a decision.

Please note requesting card details to secure your booking is a most normal practice in the uncertain times we are living within this pandemic and the government has asked all business to be as paperless as possible, which we are happy to follow the government regulations.

An hour after your initial call made we did in fact give you a courtesy call back and you stated that you had resolved the issue with that of another company called to your property for attendance.

If an engineer has let you down please feel free to call and discuss an attendance with one of our friendly agents.

Optical facilities were fantastic

Optical facilities were fantastic. Did an excellent job with the rewiring of my house. They kept me informed on the whole process of what they were going to do and stuck to complicated time scales through the pandemic. They charged me a reasonable price for the completion of works. They followed up with a courtesy call to check that I was happy with the works carried out. Really professional and pleasant would call them again for future work

Optical Facilities were so quick and…

Optical Facilities were so quick and efficient at solving the problem, I needed electric rewiring done in my house and they knew straight away on how to deal with it, I'm so pleased with the outcome it was a stress free experience.

Outstanding

I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Optical Facilities' team. My pipes burst under my kitchen in the early hours of the morning and luckily Optical was there for me when I needed them the most. Highly recommend them to everyone.

Installation was first class

Installation was first class. Engineer was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. If something needed doing the engineer did it. This was very reassuring when you are entirely in the hands of a top company such as optical. Especially when installing a new boiler is an important and expensive improvement to your home. Thank you optical for a first class service

My go to choice

Every time I need an electrician I call Optical Facilities. The customer service team are fantastic and they provided me with an outstanding engineer who went above and beyond. They recently fitted a ceiling lamp for me and I was totally happy with the results.

Fantastic company to do business with

Fantastic company to do business with. The engineers at optical heating fitted my new boiler last week and were hard working and very knowledgeable. They both kept a clean and tidy work space and I would not hesitate to use this company again. The boiler pipe work was not straightforward but this was overcome with minimal fuss and discussed with me before the solution was put into practice. A professional job completed at a competitive price. Thanks to lee in the office for all your help

I don’t normally Take the time to leave…

I don’t normally Take the time to leave reviews but thought I would this time, as I used Optical Facilities to remove a Wasp nest , and was delighted with how friendly and professional they were . The pest technician came round within an hour and explained the process step by step . He carried out the treatment leaving no mess, and I felt confident he done an excellent job. I must also say the telephone manner of the customer service team was friendly and professional. I will definitely use this company again .
