A fantastic shopping experience from start to finish.
I have previously had problems buying this particular frame from other sellers as they were advertised as available only to be told after my order that it was not available. No such problems on this occasion & the frame was delivered extremely quickly. The cherry on the cake was the price which was far more competitive than anyone else was offering. All in all, I am very pleased to have found Opticians Direct.

Great experience found the sunglasses I wanted a lot cheaper then everywhere else so i ordered them, only took 3 days for delivery and very happy with the glasses I would recommend and would use opticians direct again.

The glasses themselves look good and appear to be genuine Ray-Ban, with the “P” marking on the lens. However, I was disappointed to find out that the lenses are not actually polarised, despite the marking.

Another issue was the country of manufacture. The product states Made in China, whereas I was expecting Made in Italy, which is what many customers associate with Ray-Ban quality. This information was not clearly mentioned before purchase.

Overall, the product is acceptable, but the lack of transparency about the lenses and manufacturing origin was disappointing. I believe this should be made clear to customers before buying.

They had the best offer for the glasses I was looking for. Although it took around 1 month to come into stock (due to Christmas season) they were prompt with any emails sent and kept me updated and even upgraded the delivery to 48 hourly, which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I ordered a pair of reading glasses on the 5th of January 2025. Despite several emails and lots of phone calls, I’m now here on Tuesday third of February still with no glasses. I’ve received an email this morning saying it would be another 2 to 4 weeks. I’m cancelling the order and expecting and hoping for a refund for the £95 that has been in their bank account for the last month. What a runaround!

I had a problem with my glasses which I had purchased from Opticians Direct, I contacted Opticians Direct they could not have been more helpful sorted problem within a week.

I had my bag stolen on the train on the way to visit my best friend and with it my prescription glasses. A creature of habit I have worn the same style of glasses for a very long time, so I tried re-ordering online from other stores. Every time the order was cancelled despite it saying when ordering it was in stock. Very misleading and I was always emailed afterwards saying it wasn't in stock and that I'd have to wait 4-8 weeks, too long for someone who didn't couldn't see. Not Opticians Direct. They had it in stock and that was true. They weren't the cheapest but the service was amazing. I was obviously anxious the order would be cancelled, but was reassured by an advisor by email and they were easy to contact and responsive. I had my glasses in less than a week. The customer journey is very well designed, with automated messages at each stage of the order - they tell you when the frames and lenses are acquired, when they are are being glazed and upon despatch. Thank you for a very stress-free and smooth experience!
