I had a double mastectomy and my massage therapist introduced me to the optiwedge. I bought one for home use. Using it with light hand weights to stretch out across the chest is feeling great.
I also found the advice on neck posture really helpful.

As a physio who teaches Pilates, I have really enjoyed using the OptiNeck Balance Wedge in different settings.

It is a versatile piece of equipment that can be really helpful for manual therapy in a physio clinic setting to help lengthen pecs and assist in shoulder and neck symptom recovery.

I have also used it in Pilates classes and many clients enjoy how they can control their segmental movement of the spine and feel more flexible afterwards. They have reported that they feel that they can access a better posture after sitting at a desk all day. You can use it whilst undertaking strengthening work to ensure control of movement but also on a personal note, it’s quite nice to have a little lie down on it when you are shattered and let gravity do its work!

Very happy with Michael. I finally discovered that my headaches are due to my bad posture and neck muscles being so tight, which have been the trigger for the headaches. The "wedge" has enabled me to work through a series of exercises which have improved my posture. Thanks for all the help and guidance, Michael!

As a pilates instructor I am loving the Optineck wedge. It can be used on the mat and also on the reformer to help with postural issues and add variety and challenge to exercises. I am using it regularly myself and have noticed the difference with neck and shoulder mobility.

I have only had The Wedge for a few weeks but I can already feel the benefits. I have had neck, back and posture issues for years and have tried lots of different rehab e.g. rollers, therabands but the Wedge seems to be helping in a short space of time!

Having seen the Balance wedge on instagram I brought it to try for myself, having always suffered with neck pain. Following just a few days of use my neck and shoulder pain is significantly better if not resolved! Seeing such a progression for myself I have brought them into my physiotherapy clinic to utilise with patients.

Was recommended to me by my physiotherapist for back and shoulder mobility. So much easier than some of the other exercises but feels more effective and as it’s supported body weight less likely to overdo. A few minutes a day eases stiffness and tightness. Only had the wedge a couple weeks but already feeling the benefits.

The Optineck Wedge is so simple, relaxing and easy to use. It relieves my neck discomfort and I can feel the difference in my posture after just a few minutes’ use. I find it so good I have bought the travel version as well. Brilliant!

I love my balance wedge, I even took it on holiday with me! As a (non practicing) physio myself, I fully recommend the wedge as a vital piece of rehab equipment. In fact, I use it everyday as part of my daily routine to prevent injury, and reverse the effects of long hours spent in front of the computer. Big thumbs up from me!

I am a physiotherapist and I really support this new concept to correct poor posture which is often the cause of chronic neck pain. I will be suggesting this to my patients and exercise users who I feel will benefit from some postural correction. Great product - great concept!

I’ve been using the balance wedge for over 12 months and have never been so impressed with the results from such a simple device. My back and neck feel so much better from using the wedge, combined with the comprehensive instructional videos The only issue that I have is trying to find it in the house when the rest of the family need to use the wedge! We might have to become at least a two wedge family!

I began using Michael O’Reilly’s wedge after ulna nerve issues, exacerbated by the ‘wrong’ kind of Pilates, gave me persistent pins and needles down my left arm and restricted use of my third and fourth left hand fingers. Through regularly using the wedge backed up by physio sessions with Michael, the pins and needles have gone away and the finger strength is returning. I honestly believe the wedge has made the most significant difference to my condition and I believe its consistency as well as its shape have been the major factor in my recovery. I also believe its has enabled me to adopt a much better posture in all aspects of daily life, helping me walk, sit and drive correctly.

Recommended by a physio to help realign my neck/shoulders and alleviate nerve pain from neck; can truly say this is a game changer. Using it daily and doing the exercises on youtube has really helped my posture. An invaluable antidote to hunched posture sitting as computer and doing crafts!

The optineck balance wedge is a fantastic device that helps strengthen the thoracic spine and alleviate neck tension or pain; especially when used in conjunction with hand weights (1kg weights are sufficient generally).
It’s also good for overall posture, as most people nowadays suffer from ‘tech-neck’ or similar issues simply from sitting down for long periods of time.
Personally I find it really helpful also for the purpose of a few minutes relaxation throughout the day. It resets my body and my mind.

It was difficult to use at first so I just did a little every day and after a few weeks I have increased the time as I find it easy to do now. I can't believe how much straighter and taller I am standing. The only problem is that I am noticing all the dust that I couldn't see before as I was looking downwards.
Got to go now and do the dusting.

I was introduced to this balance wedge from my physio , thorght money making item !!! But i was wrong i am 67 with stiff neck and shoulders and using this 3/4times a day really makes a difference
I would recommend it and its use to all of us mature people that need a stretch , must also be great for any rehab building up the muscles too
