I have had my Optineck Balance wedge for a good few months now after partaking in a workshop designed for Pilates Instructors.
The wedge is absolutely the best prop out there…. It provides support for those with neck and shoulder problems, like myself, and adds challenge to those who want it. I use it for pretty much all my clients now, and I use it myself to release tight upper quadrant muscles. I’ve suffered tension type headaches for years and the first time I used the wedge (which was in the workshop and had the luxury of using for 2hrs!) I was free from pain in my neck & upper back for the first time in months!! Now I use it always to keep the problems away. I highly recommend this wonderful wedge and now wouldn’t be without it!

I had neck and shoulder pain for years. Tried different physiotherapists but nothing really worked. It was really affecting my daily life. Mike put me on the Optineck program together with the Balance Wedge. I’m now pain free most of the time, and if I start with pain again (too many hours working on the computer) I recover much quicker. Such a simple but effective tool.

Before my first appointment with Mike, I kept thinking what he possible could tell me, that I hadn't already known. But once I tested the balance wedge for the first time, I cannot function now without spending at least 5mins on it every day.
Balance wedge is more of a relaxing experience than an exercise tool. It allows for the gravity to pull the body downward whilst keeping the spine straight and encourages the user to keep the correct posture.
I simply rest on the balance wedge even though I do perform some if the exercises.

I'd been in a lot of pain for a while before my consultant recommended Weybridge Physio. I realised I did not have to endure constant pain for the rest of my life...a miracle! With my continued exercises at home on the wonderful Balance Wedge plus a few more visits to Michael at the lovely clinic, I feel I shall be on an upward trajectory of continous improvement. Michael O’Reilly is a miracle worker. Since my very early teens, I've had to daily and constantly crack my neck by violently slamming my head sideways onto my shoulder to relieve migraine-level pain. (I have migraines, so I speak from experience!) Obviously, this was a huge concern because of all the nerves and blood vessels in the neck - and 40 years of doing so cannot be good! A few physio sessions with Michael, some postural and seating changes, coupled the daily use of the Balance Wedge and, for the first time in 40 years, I no longer have to crack my neck! At all!! The cause of pain has absolutely, 100% gone!

…and I'm still using the wedge daily.

It is a great product, I would love to see a pdf or videos with ideas to use it apart from just laying on it (which is really useful especially if you work on a desk).

After years of physical work, I have tried multiple avenues to reduce pain - chiropractors, various massages etc.
I came to Micheal hunched over, extremely distressed, and seeing no light at the end of my pain! Within 2 sessions with the wedge in-house, and consistent use at home, I would say I'm a new woman already! Work doesn't suffer anymore, my pain is reduced massively, and as I have seen results so quickly it's a no-brainer for me to continue using the wedge. Such a genius idea, everyone should have one! Also very reasonably priced! Potential to charge more!

I’ve suffered from bad headaches for many years and couldn’t work out what was causing them. I certainly didn’t know that they could be caused by postural issues from years of laptop and phone use. Since using the wedge, I’ve seen an improvement in my mobility and experienced fewer headaches. It’s simple, easy and convenient to use and I now try to end my work day doing my exercises rather than sitting on the sofa. Would highly recommend.

I had a complex neurological issue affecting my neck and eye following years of poor posture and postural instability. I was fortunate enough to have some of my treatment on the prototype and was one of the first to purchase the Balance wedge. It’s been 3 years since I started using it - it’s a key part of my regular routine and is essential in my life! I’ve since upgraded to the latest wedge and passed my original one to my brother who was suffering with migraines. His migraines have significantly reduced in frequency and he finds the wedge provides huge relief.

I love using the Wedge! Not only for the sense of movement of the spine, the stretch across the chest and shoulders, but also for the core strength and stability challenge. Great for after a long run, and also for the mindfulness moment. Genius!

This simple wedge is indeed a game changer! I've been using it for some months now after suffering shoulder and neck pain from being stuck at my computer all day. Just 5 or 10 minutes a day is enough to help relieve all pain. I noticed when I went on holiday for two weeks without it my neck and shoulder were already stiffening up. Within 3 days of being back on it the stiffness has eased. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that it is a bit bulky transport wise but I have now been advised there is a travel version.

I've been using the Optineck Balance Wedge pretty much since it became available. Like so many good products, it's simple, easy to use and effective.
Using a Wedge rather than a conventional foam exercise roll has real practical advantages, specifically stability and orientation.
I'm sure the Wedge has been very effective in helping me to manage back and neck pain.

I have found the Optineck Balance Wedge extremely beneficial. I use the wedge daily with the prescribed exercises & stretches (from by super physio); this has really improved my posture & helps alleviate tension in my neck & shoulders. It’s such a great invention & so easy to use in your daily life. Would highly recommend the wedge.

Wow, so lucky to have discovered the Balance Wedge. It has become the go to posture and bad back fixer in our family. We have gone from, go and use the wedge, to who's got the wedge? We might have to buy another one, if not two! Great product, that does exactly what it says on the tin!
