Bought a pair of Buoyancy shorts. Neoprene ripped after 2 uses. Was informed that it was my fault due to 'incorrect donning of the wetsuit'. I have plenty of experience of 'donning wetsuits' and have never had new neoprene rip on me before.

Awful customer service. Despite offering a warranty, Orca do not honour it. For example a purchase of neoprene hammers in March 2025 began to come apart at the seams three months later. Photographs were sent to Orca and they refused to honour the warranty.

Take your hard earned money and buy from a more reputable brand

The wetsuit itself is of good quality. However, be aware that you have to pay the return costs by yourself, when ordering on the official orca online shop, which can be expansive, when you ordering not from Spain, but from another country. Therefore I really recommend buying it from another retailer

I ordered 3 items to avail of free shipping on orders over €100. When the order arrived, one of the items was the incorrect size. When I asked about returning the item, I was informed that I would have to pay for return shipping, and that I would not be refunded the cost of shipping unless the entire order of 3 items was returned. Furthermore, the company don't correct their mistakes: if I wanted to get the correctly-sized item, I would have to order it again on the website and pay for its shipping.

This review is for someone looking for a ocean open water wetsuit to be used during winter season Oct-Mar. Spk with friendly Orca folks over a year ago when trying to find the right suit for the water temp I swim in (34.4 F coldest this year). They were very helpful in discussing what I was looking for - flexible shoulders, seam reliability, thermal requirements and they suggested the Vitalis Thermal Openwater. Orca even helped when I messed up the discount code when purchasing multiple products (purchased booties and hood) and Orca made sure I received the correct discount.
The suit, booties and hood have been excellent at enabling me to swim in cold ocean temps through the winter months (avg 30min water time). Products have not deteriorated, and still provide great thermal protection. I've used many other wetsuit brands and spent many hours with AquaSeal+FD fixing seams and splits. No such experience with Orca. I can't stress enough that if you are looking at swimming in cold ocean conditions this company and product work. Not cheap but I'd buy another one tomorrow - worth the money.!!
The only consideration (and this is not a knock) is that you have to learn how to get it on - inside out is the key approach as this suit is designed and fits tight.

The Orca team has been extremely helpful in answering all my emails about finding an appropriate wetsuit for open water. I was travelling to London from Europe and wanted to find a store there, so they pointed out two stores. My time was limited. So the team helped me out in finding out all the information I needed prior going to actually try on a wetsuit. In this way I knew what I was looking for with respect to model, size, thickness and based on the temperature of the water in my country. They seem to have great expertise. My questions were answered and explained in detail within a few of hours. The option of posting from Spain to London was also made clear, which is good to know for future orders.

The shop I have bought my new wetsuit from went offline, but Orca did kindly exchange the wetsuit to the correct size for me. I am more than pleased. The quality of the wetsuit is very good as well!
