I'm waiting for my first order with b o to get out of the quote-unquote processing stage. It's 7 days old I paid another 13 for quick shipping and I can't get a response to a messenger message or phone call a text or any other way of communicating with these clowns. I don't like to sit and judgment but Jesus Christ's! I don't think it's unreasonable to expect some sort of progress or at least a response acknowledging what the ? problem is? NOT COOL TO IGNORE CUSTOMERS!

100% Scam, do not buy!!!

I love all your excuses below claiming youll give refunds and its 3 weeks for shipping. Its been almost 2 months, you didnt reply to any of a dozen messages through 2 email addresses, messenger and now you have disconnected your phone. I ordered almost 2 months ago, when I filed through paypal, which you claim below is "how its done" then contradict yourself, you provided a fake tracking number. Not to mention you keep changing your site, disconnecting your phone and there are like 30 other people on your fb page saying the same thing. No matter what you say, youre a dishonest person, incompetent business owner, and just a piece of con man junkie trash. You can update your website everyday, leave passive aggressive msgs on paypal when people go to make a claim, provide fake tracking numbers, yet. You are unavailable to give refunds, which your site clearly states you will do. Not to mention, the season is over so you're selling year old seeds at a super premium price, acting like coupons and non existent free seeds will help. Maybe stop sampling from your garden long enough to answer an email. All one has to do is look below to see your arrogance and incompetence, especially at customer service. Any real business wouldn't come at people aggressively when they have an issue, you shouldn't even be doing business until you can provide a product, which is a joke, you clearly dont intend to send anything outl and screw your free year old-nobody wants that ugly bs "bonus" seeds, nobody wants that garbage, make it taz alk or gigs or something worthwhile. You havent sent out anything. You had 2 months, you sent out fake tracking. If something is wrong now, tough sh!t. You shoulda used those 2 months. If you can still actively hide like a coward and update your site and fight paypal cases, you can issue refunds. Any excuse you can find, huh Jordan? You're a greedy thief, I tried being nice, im done. Youve been added to a 5,000+ member scammers group on fb. Screenshots of your claims, unresponded emails and screenshots of your behavior below posted on reddit (along with a lot of pissed off peiple there and on fb,anyone thay sees your fb page is going to have a giant "hell no" (Btw, love how your own group disappeared along with functional phone numbers and viable email addresses). I hope you lose everything. Don't take peoples money if you cant provide a product. Issue refunds if you got orders before disabling the site. Plain and simple. You are so desperately trying to hold onto money you stole.....I know your name Jordan, this is gonna turn out badly for you. Say bye to your business scam and freedom. You are a thief plain and simple and I will continue to spread the word everywhere possible that youre a con artist who has committed interstate fraud repeatedly and purposely.

Looked for an online vendor of seeds

I actually was going to be ordering seeds from this company but wanted to check out the business first as there are so many scam sites out there nowadays. I am glad that I came to trust pilot.
As a business owner, I understand that things can go wrong with orders. Seeing the common complaints here in regards to long waits on shipments and lack of communication is bad enough.
However, the responses from your company and insulting the customer like you are, is enough for me and I am sure everyone else that may check out reviews, to never order from such an immature/unprofessional business owner. Customer service sells, insults and blame does not. So, heads up. It is not the negative reviews that is hurting your business, it is the responses from you. Grow up.

HOW ABOUT YOU? Do u have any imperfections you'd like to share w/ the group? What's YOUR Website?
- WE have NEVER Scammed a SINGLE Customer! For not a single Penny, nor Seed.
- We couldn't if we tried.That's because Buyers are Protected under Paypal's Buyer Protection Policies
But what I AM GOOD AT, is Breeding and Seeding the Highest Quality Botanicals & Genetics, on a CONSISTENT, YEAR-ROUND basis.
And THAT'S WHAT SELLS....You don't find ANYONE Complaining about the quality of our Products now, do you? (unless it's an Abusive Buyer, such as Rory. A rare, but very REAL case where a Buyer tries to get FREE product)/
Sometimes, we sell a little more than we can handle.
Which partly explains some Complaints for DELAYS in our Shipping, because we experience EXTREMELY High Volumes of Orders during Peak Spring-Season,
Not to mention a Global Pandemic overwhelming the Postal Service.
- EVERY Complaint u see below, either received their Order. Or a FULL Refund. (proof provided in each reply), Now, THEY become the "Scammers". Since their Complaint doesn't reflect TRUTH!!
- You're only seeing a tiny fraction of our Customer Base, and the relationships I have with them. Most have become good friends, who call me regularly to talk about Gardening. (most people who have a good experience, don't feel the need to write a Review & be heard).
- Most of our Customers are intelligent, mature gardeners, who have the ability to "Plan Ahead", therefore they simply place their Orders a couple weeks in advance. It's that simple. It would be an Insult to assume otherwise.
Similar to those people who wait for a WEEK in LONG LINES, in SCORCHING HEAT, just to get the BEST Concert Seat (AFTER paying ridiculous prices for Tickets & parking Fees!!) -or-

Consider Looking Elsewhere

You say I'm the one costing you money with this review but I feel that it's really due to overall lack of customer service. You keep doing what you want not what I have asked. In my opinion you have only done one thing partially right through all of this.

Problems I see:
*Order placed and charged immediately - FTC 30-day rule is the gold standard, unfortunately it doesn't apply to seeds but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be followed

*I originally requested the order cancelled if you couldn't ship them by the end of Feb. You chose to move it to processing before the end of Feb and not ship until Mar 17. If you would have originally done as requested we could have saved a bunch of hassle and time

*The order received email says orders processed twice a week which isn't true. Most people don't mind waiting as long as you're straight when setting the expectation

*You edited my post on the website to make it appear it was my fault for not checking my spam folder than you taking responsibility. At that point it was the only response I received from multiple emails, texts and a call before posting on here. I don't like doing all this publicly

*Until delivered the package is the sellers responsibility. If it goes missing before delivery the shipper (seller) is the one who has to file the claim. I'm fairly certain using my confidential customer information to create a USPS account and open said case is illegal. You actually checking into it was the one partially right thing even though you used my information to do so

I have requested a refund through this whole thing since you didn't cancel the order as requested yet I still have to email you to ask about it again? Can't you just send me the information? I'm sure I'm still going to have to pay for return postage anyway. "This review has costed me Thousands, it's not about $$, it's about principle". I guess the principle is more important than working it out with the customer.

Ok...finally shipped more than a month after I ordered which still doesn't change the fact it's past the time I could have used them for this season. Why would I buy seeds to sit around for almost a year degrading before I can use them?

It's more than 2 months since I ordered and I still don't have the seeds. The USPS losing them does not fall on me to fix nor should I be charged for something I never received. Surely when you yourself order something if it never arrives you don't expect the seller to say "sorry we put it in the mail it's your problem now"?

I ordered 3-4 times previously but for some reason this last has been an awful experience. I ordered on Feb 11th and still no seeds. The order email received clearly says "BE AWARE THAT WE PRINT SHIPPING LABELS IN BATCHES, once or twice each Week, then Process them during that time. So do not worry if Tracking shows no Movement for the 1st couple days."

About 2 weeks later I start sending emails as I never received a shipped email. I try text for 2 days, try leaving a voice message still no response. I finally post to the web page asking if they can't ship it please cancel my order. Of course that gets a response but my comment is moderated to say only "Where is my order?" without anything that would make them look bad and says I should check my spam folder (I pointed out in the post I already had checked it). Yeah, don't work on my order at all and try and say it's my fault because it must be in my spam folder. Magically that same day I get a shipping number email on Feb 27 without any other acknowledgement there was any problem what-so-ever

I have the shipping number but even the USPS site still says it's in pre-shipment so as far as I know it STILL hasn't shipped. Or even if it actually did ship it sure hasn't made it here for at least 11 days, I know priority mail doesn't take that long

I'm not knocking their products, which in the past have grown well for me. However a small business runs on it's customers and it's promises, this time I feel like they failed both. I shouldn't be the one spending time trying to find out what is going on because nothing is happening with my order and I'm being left in the dark. No reasonable response to why hasn't my order shipped or anything

At this point I would like a refund and maybe I'll try next year's growing season and look around at other vendors. I really don't feel I should be paying for something I don't receive or can't use in time for this season when I clearly started the process early enough for them

Review

Had an issue with shipping and after promptly hearing from back from Jordan the problem was addressed and seeds shiped. Seeds came few days later intact and very much viable from the look of them. Very happy with the whole process and product. Also recieved a free gift for my trouble and it was a strain I was thinking of purchasing in the future which was very nice. Seeds have been sown will update review when season is over.

Beware SCAM site Organicalbotanicals.com of Vashon Is. Washington

Beware SCAM site on Vashon Island, Washington. Organicalbotanicals is a re-seller of commercial grade poppy seeds. The site claims 100% natural, raw, unwashed, non irradiated seeds. FALSE! It is the same as commercial grade that you can get from a grocery store chain but this site charges you 50.00 a pound when a local retail store charges 4.99 a pound. ( In the eyes of the law that is called a " Reverse Palm Off " fraud.) I asked him numerous times before a purchase, if his seeds were unwashed 100% percent raw non- irradiated poppy seeds? He assured me it was just harvested from his own farm by his own hand, that it takes a long time to remove seeds from the pods to fill an order of 2.2 pounds ( hence the reason his "alleged" product was so late arriving here!) This site is NOT a member of VIGA (Vashon Island Growers Association) nor is it a member of any Washington State Farmer's Co-Op as claimed on the site. This site claims to have a working farm that grows its product and works with other co-op farms. This is false! They purchase bulk seeds then repackages and resells it as their own farm grown product. This site does not warranty its product nor guaranty the quality of product sold. If you receive products that is bad and unusable they will not take it back or give a refund. When you request a refund, it is refused and the site accuses you of product tampering and buyer abuse. This site uses images from other farm's and growers as well as videos for tutorials to mislead you into believing it is legitimate working farm. His videos make claims that it is legal to raise opium producing seeds and plants and also in one video he claims you can purchase living opium producing poppy plants from your local nursery. FALSE! His videos are misleading. In the U.K. you can but not in the USA,! Just like Coca plants you can not purchase an opium producing plant.... he omits that part for a reason to mislead you into purchasing his products. A backyard garden is not a professional farmer's co-op or working farm for bulk sales of product. The site claims to fill hundreds of bulk orders a day of raw 100% Unwashed seeds. FALSE! His so called farm is not capable of producing bulk amounts of unwashed raw seeds as he claims! When you take his product and use a small sample to do a quality assurance test this site claims that is product tampering and non-refundable. That is what dishonest businesses do to cover up their deceptions and RIP YOU OFF monetarily! So buyer's beware!!!
Also, if he advertised that his site is selling bulk amounts of pre-washed irradiated commercial grade poppy seeds then no one would be interested in his product when they can get the same thing from Walmart for 4.99 a pound as to his 50 dollars a pound.

I talked to the owner when I had a problem he offers his phone number his name is Jordan I thought I had an issue he answered the phone on the first ring first time I tried to call then his shipping lady contacted me and everything went fine took a little longer than expected but that's how business goes I give a thumbs up not bad business

Ordered well over a month working to 2nd month no package still

Place an order on October 11 and have had the run around since, changing shipping labels, yours is the next item to go out, to they have now printed a shipping label on the on 11/8/18 and that’s it, run the tracking # just states shipping label is printed waiting to be picked up by usps. Which they say they are off the mainland buys it’s now the 16th usps priority mail is 1-3 days depending on location not a week in half. Called the post office they say it hasn’t been shipped when this is the status. Waiting for a refund. But it seems I’m not the only person getting the run around!!!!

I'm so glad that you finally see the truth, that we were not giving you the "run-around" (now you see the others who Ordered BULK Seed Orders from us all at once!)! This is consistent with what I have always told you.
- Like explained on the Order Status Page, Labels are printed out in Weekly BATCHES. The, once printed, they are filled according to contents listed on Packing slips.
- So, it's not uncommon to see SOME delay, but not like this - so we apologize if we made you think we were giving you the "run-around".
- Perhaps it's because we WERE literally, running around (trying to get these filled).
We are not "Commercial Seed Suppliers" or "Resellers". We're a small grow Operation that simply isn't prepared to take on the VOLUME of BULK Orders that suddenly were placed all at once.
However, we have no problem shipping out over 400+ Orders Monthly. None of the above is an "excuse" for the communication failures, delays, and other blunders that created a terrible experience for you- and for that, we sincerely apologize.
- But, knowing that you could have chosen to be refunded at any moment throughout this process, + the extra $10 Coupon, PLUS the "Extra Gifts" we included, I'm having a hard time understanding why you're also affecting all our FUTURE potential Sales by leaving a bad review. I can provide ANY proof you need to show you we never intentionally misled you.
We simply got overwhelmed. Could u give us a break? If we wanted to avoid u, we wouldn't answer the phone, etc.
Call the post office all you want, but you remember when the Tracking only began to show movement on a SUNDAY?? Explain that. Weird, I know, like I said, the Island works different than normal Post Offices.
-I was the one who said yours was next in the Queue - and it was! Unfortunately, my shipping Employee was doing them BACKWARDS!!
Can't just "Hire new help" as the HR Pool here is shallow.
Either they're in High School, or work for Boeing.
Not your fault. just facts.
But if you're truly this unhappy, I'd rather you just return product for a refund (besides, it kinda sucks being unhappy in life - in general). And that's not what I would wish upon anyone, much less a patient, deserving Customer as yourself.

Fed Up

I ordered around October 10th. The package hasn’t arrived (to be fair to them apparently they are changing print materials), to be fair to me, they never mentioned this except on Facebook which I didn’t friend. How about a mass email regarding this? They still might have gotten a decent review (and I’ve read the negative reviews on this site so here are my problems). I’ve sent around 6-7 emails. My first was answered to inform of the printing change. The other emails have been ignored and were regarding getting a delivery date or tracking number (I’ve heard the principals below say they receive too many emails to respond) which would suggest perhaps you don’t yet have infrastructure to maintain customers yet and you shouldn’t take every order you get your hands on (maybe make a hire so you can answer). I tried telephone but you have to sign in, and I don’t have access to account (which I explained in great detail) and just asked for the number. Then I attempted FB messenger, no answer. Finally I just decided if they are so busy to request refund. This is my second email attempt. I don’t believe it’s too much to ask of a company to answer at least 1 of 5-6 emails. If they can’t afford customer service you can’t afford business except with your friends and family. I own a similar business and we turn down 95% of customers because we are building infrastructure and systems. Still waiting for order, for delivery date, for refund. They offered 10% off on next order, but I just want my money back. I don’t want to give a negative review (I hate these because in many cases it’s a bad day or miscommunication), but how long can miscommunications last before you want an answer, any answer and this page seems to get proprietor response. I would have rather handled it via email or if you could have provided a number, so before you attack me, please help me first

OB has been my go to seed source for…

OB has been my go to seed source for many years! With outstanding customer service, great tutorials that I have learned a lot from and pictures with all items. I love it!! Whenever a friend asks me where to get seeds I direct them to Organical Botanicals! You won’t find a better source for your garden needs! Trust me iv spent years looking till I found OB! And have been a loyal customer since then! In fact I just ordered some seeds a minute ago :)

We ALWAYS OVER-Deliver. Count them yourself. It's GUARANTEED.
It's not our fault that Poppy seeds are SMALL.
Sure, we could spend a bunch of money on Fancy Packaging, and Overnight shipping, but WHY? Does that create a Better Flower?? That would only drive prices up FURTHER for YOU!
It's simple. If prices are SO bad, that you're going to complain, why do you Buy in the first place?
Nevertheless, there's a REASON for our Pricing, and it partly comes down to Supply & Demand.
Which, is prob. why u bought from us. (because nobody else had it)
Sure, u may find lower prices here & there. But does that Seller keep Stock ALL YEAR? Nope.
WE focus on QUALITY and CONSISTENCY. (like any REAL business should)
When dealing w/ Mother Nature, we take what she gives, then we need to make it last Year-Round.
Sometimes, it's our only choice for Inventory Control.
We lower Prices on items we have more of.

Qiuck deliverance. And the seeds, just what I expected. It has yet to be sown, so I can say nothing about germination and what plants I get this summer. But with my experience with plants, over 50 years, it must be OK.

(I must have written it in the 'Order Confirmation email' also). But anyways, we do the "90-Day Invite", so that people have a Chance to Grow them, and experience their Quality before leaving a review (unlike eBay, which LIMITS Buyers to only 60 days after Purchase). Leaving room for SCAMMERS to get away with selling BUNK seeds (besides, u can EDIT this Review too)
