This is a very unscrupulous service that abuses your personal data. If you have made a booking through them at least once and entered your bank card details, they will keep them permanently. You won't be able to delete or change this data (there is simply no such section in your profile). If you then want to make a booking without card confirmation, the service will use this old data and may charge you without your knowledge. But the saddest thing is that the support service doesn't work at all: you can call, but you will be told that your request has been registered and transferred to another department; after that, you will never be contacted.
Misleading information from the customer support
I made a reservation on OTel Z in January 2023 - paid in full. I had to cancel it within the free cancellation period, buy the card I used for payment expired. I contacted the customer support of OtelZ by phone because they have only this option on their website - they speak only Turkish. I was assured someone speaking English will contact me - this never happened. I wrote to the live support, nobody answered, they closed the thread but they send me the helpdesk email where someone finally answered me in English.
I explained the situation that I had paid from a Visa card that has expired and that I have a new card. The financial team answer was that it is impossible to refund me the money on a different card. They offered the option to refund me the money in my OtelZ account, more specific in my ZWallet. I said ok, I had no other choice. To make sure that this will happen, I asked the customer support (Seyma) to cancel my reservation and track that the refund goes into my ZWallet - this never happened.
I contacted them a few days later asking what happened with the cancellation and the refund and they opened a new thread with the impossibility to connect to the answers they offered me on the old emails. They told me exactly the opposite, to cancel the reservation myself and contact my bank for the refund. They totally ignored and not answered me after I send them printscreens of the old emails where they said they will make the refund in my ZWallet.
I accidentally checked today my bank account and found the refund there, on my new card (which they told me it was not possible to refund there). I am happy that they were honest and refunded the money, but they were incapable of telling me that and misleaded me with lots of different and contradictory information.
I would definitely not use OtelZ again after having this experience. I rather go to the hotel itself and negociate the price directly there - it is a lot cheaper like this in Turkey and you talk directly to the manager, you see the room, you choose the conditions you stay in.
FRAUD !
After making the reservation and accepting my credit card, i received an email :
Your credit card with the number *** could not be verified.
after that he debits me the amount of the reservation 600€ as cancellation fee !!
what a disgrace and thieves !!!!
Otelz.com kept their promise
We booked a hotel in Bodrum for 5 nights via Otelz.com.
The hotel was a disaster (golden age yalikavak). Contacted Otelz and told my views and that id like to cancel and get my money back. They approved it we checked out.
The money didnt come to my account, it had some delay. But everytime I spoke with Otelz they made sure that we will pay me back. And initally they did. So just have some patience and theyl deliver what they promised. Thanks for great service 👍
Never pay in advance
So here is the deal. Booking number 3674036. I made a reservation and paid it on otelz.com in full. But when I came to the hotel, there was no room. The hotel didn`t return me money, the otelz.com haven`t either, though I`m still waiting (more than a month has passed). Also they don`t have english personnel and it`s rezlly hard to call them.

10 days after final confirmation of the booking at a hotel, they suddenly cancel the reservation via sms. They are very hard to get in touch with, but after many attempts we finally get through. However no service and no nothing - the reservation is cancelled for no other reason than the original Price was too low, so now they will not accept the booking in spite of sending the final confirmation 10 days prior to the sudden camcellation.
Now we are stuck in Turkey with no place to stay…
Fraud, Rude and worst customer seervice
-Fraud: i booked the price of 92 Euro and when i arrive they gave me 2 options even i cancel the booking or i pay 244 Euro (i payed the amount because i was exhausted after my long flight to Istanbul and the time was late)
-Rude: the customer service for both calls and live chat doesn't speak English and when i ask for English they hang up the phone or close the live chat.

I was so surprised that I had the best rate when I compare the rates with other online travel agencies. I booked with Otelz a couple of nights in different hotels in Turkey, as i never booked with them before, i was a bit anxious if it was a serious company-Well, i will certainly balance all the negative reviews i read here, as everything went just smooth and perfect with smooth prices- I even made a mistake as i booked a wrong month ,3 nights no refundable in an hotel i try to join them , as the speaker could not understand english, i called the owner of the hotel who could speak english , she immediately called otelz and otelz reached me with whatapps with an english spoken person, and they changed my reservation. I reckon, i was lucky to get the hotel owner who could speak english and immediately joined them, but the fact is that they did immediately refund the money within 30 minutes, and i made a new booking with the proper dates- Then, all the others hotels i booked with them were all very good at very smooth prices compare to others plateforms. But one has to check and compare . This trip was in Turkey, so i can write only of my experience in this country, and yes i would recommend definitely go through them if i would return in Turkey-
Avoid.
Terrible. Room description was wrong and wasn't corrected. Then, they wouldn't let me leave a review so I can't warn others.

Avoid booking with this company at all costs. Got to my hotel in Turkey with my family and two small children and they had no reservation. Worse customer service I’ve ever encountered as they didn’t care at all. Worse start to my holiday

Reservation 2679374. I booked hotel Citrus Park, Konyaalti for 1 night through otelz.com. Sadly, there was no hot water, more than that on ground floor right next to my room there were pipe leak works, and for approximately 3 hours there were no water at all. I contacted otelz.com by contact form on their webisite twice about compensation - no answer from otelz.com. Then I asked administrator in next hotel to call otelz com number, it was hard for otelz to find English- speaking support, they promised to call back, but never did. It was first and last time I used otelz. It turned out that otelz.com is strictly for turkish people with turkish phone number, otherwise there is no way to contact them in case of troubles. Very bad service, otelz is simply ignoring you!
