Very good service from start to finish

They installed solar panels at my house. The panels are working great and the product I chose was 425kw panels, enough for my home. I chose 8 panels and they are producing around 9KWH everyday in the month of May. It is expected to drop to less than 2KWH per day in winters. They were quite upfront about it and transparent. They chose a contractor acen which was very professional, did a good job with scaffolding and fitting. Happy customer

The installation was smooth and professional There was problem with setup WiFi to the App but they were revolve quickly to my satisfaction.

One suggestion I would make is that communication between the customer (me) and Otovo was sporadic in the sense that I think that there is an assumption on the part of Otovo that a new customer is fully conversant with terminology, how the actual installation will be carried out and a timeline of documentation. This as with most customers was a totally new experience . One example was that Otovo hire the installers who seemed to be incredibly busy with many jobs. Mr Connor and his installers did a great job and has replied to my queries. One example would be clear details on who a customer would approach if there was a fault or failure at a later date or for example if a panel needed to removed at a later date if for example there was a tile/roofing problem under the panel. This could be in the form a a simple booklet with Q and Answers. All in all very satisfied with system up and working and cannot speak highly enough about the guys who installed the panels in all weather conditions

Great service from Otovo. Received quotes from a few companies, and they were the best value by far. Had 5 panels and a battery installed. Took about 2 months from quote to installation. VG.

System installed Feb 20th; outage early April. Was some time until an installer was able to attend (3 weeks) - not ideal. Later learned that original installer no longer worked for Otovo and so a second installer was sent. Issue was resolved (faulty inverter - apparently there is a 1 in 100 chance at present as Growatt has significantly increased production). Inverter replaced and system now works fine. Generally service and responsiveness from Otovo has been good - receptive to feedback and seem committed to continued improvement. Reality is every solar provider relies on a stable of 3rd party installers, so challenging experiences are a factor of the solar experience. Glad to have chosen Otovo to ensure everything turned out well.

Many days we are 90% self generating only importing minimal amounts.
At this rate system will be paid for in less than 5 years.
Solar power is amazing and so are Otovo.

After initial delivery it needed tech problem solving/tuning as neighbours have found. Otovos guy very efficient at chasing up hardware reps and finished in one tenth of time neighbour with alternat supplier. All working well. Neighbours jealous.

Good communications from quotation to completion. Installation well documented and system delivering the expected output.

Quickly finding an installer and installing, useful video discussion identifying best setup for my home, good handover pack although perhaps Otovo staff should have known more about how to use my inverter and battery. But would refer to anyone.

Very good pre installation and installation but follow up and setting up the feed in tariff could be improved

Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I contacted Otovo via their online form then was contacted directly by Ian, the project manager. The PV system was installed as scheduled (the company takes care about raising the scaffolding too). After installation I had a proper explanation of how to use the application to control how much energy is being produced. All the paperwork (certifications, warranty, instructions how to sell energy to the grid) came shortly after installation. I'm a happy PV panels users now :)

They are knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I really didn’t know much about solar, they were great to work with. Jina was great to work with !

We started off with Otovo in Spain, getting solar panels on the roof of our summer home. Now we are super excited to get them up on the roof of our home in the UK! Soon we'll be 2 times solar! Great job Otovo!

I really didn’t know much about solar before Otovo. I just knew I wanted to save on electricity bills, contribute to the carbon neutral agenda, and to do this using a trustworthy installer. I tried Solar Together as well as googling some local installers in London but I got no call backs at all. With Otovo I got prompt, knowledgable advice and support. The experience has been fast, and I’ve felt taken care of. Thanks a lot!

Jina, Stephen, and the rest of the team at Otovo have been super friendly, helpful, and communicative. They never shied away from answering our calls and informed us of each step along the way. The installation of the solar panels came and went without any major disruptions and the installers were very courteous and wanted to ensure we received the best level of care. The installers were also open and honest and informed us beforehand where there was likely to be any damage but reassured us that would be rectifying any issues before signing off on the job. We certainly found this a very pleasant experience and would have no issues recommending the company to friends and family!
