We thought and truly hoped we would write a wonderful review about our king sized mattress. However, sadly that is not the case. The background of our experience with Owl + Lark is that we ordered our mattress back in November 2023 and due to numerous problems/issues it was finally delivered in February 2024. It was a huge purchase for me and my husband and one that was not taken lightly. I work for the NHS not known to be big payers and my husband is retired due to health issues. We were initially delighted with our mattress, albeit a costly purchase for us, however, and like other reviewers, we slept like logs. However, around the one year mark, we noticed that the mattress was sagging terribly despite rotating it as advised every 6 weeks, and it was becoming more and more uncomfortable. Currently, the mattress has two distinct and deep dips where we both lie/sleep. This, we felt, was definitely not right and certainly didn’t reflect the quality or the amount spent on this mattress. Not to worry too much we told ourselves as the mattress was under guarantee! We contacted Owl + Lark on two occasions once using the “contact us” route on their website and when that was ignored, via customer service. To our dismay we have still yet to receive an acknowledgment or any communication from Owl + Lark. We are not the kind of customers who make a habit of complaining but, in this case, and due to the amount of money spent on what can only be described as a substandard item, we thought we really must. We are using the Trustpilot platform in the hope that someone from Owl + Lark will have their conscience pricked and the decency to get in touch so that the problem with our mattress can finally be resolved.

We have had the mattress for 3 months. It's of exceptional quality and a joy to sleep on. Highly recommend and well worth the wait. Enjoy!

I cannot fault Owl and Lark for their amazing customer service and understanding arranging my mattress delivery. I initially wanted it delivered on a date where the house I was moving into was being completed but as with a lot of house moves, this can sometimes be delayed. Owl and Lark have been nothing but exceptional. Stephanie has been so understanding and helped me navigate delivery options and when it finally arrived, it arrived in perfect condition and the mattress is so comfortable, I get excited to get into bed! Brilliant company, exceptional comfort. You get what you pay for. You buy cheap, you buy twice. I would definitely buy from them again.

I found out about O+L mattress’s when I briefly worked for them, and I was so impressed with the company and products I’ve just bought an “Airsilk” double mattress.
From the moment of order, to the delivery and setup, the service was spot on.
Having slept on the mattress for the last 5 weeks, both myself and my wife absolutely love it, is so comfortable, and the quality of this product is excellent.

I recently bought one of the lovely eye masks from Owl + Lark. I can only describe my first nights sleep as heavenly! It blocked out the bits of light that even my blackout blinds let in!!

Wow! Having tried many other mattress brands and trying my husband’s patience, I have finally found the one!! I purchased the Blue Jay mattress a month ago and absolutely love it. It’s the most comfortable mattress I’ve had the pleasure to sleep on and I’ve never used my alarm snooze button so much! I’ve recently purchased the O&L fitted sheet which has made my sleeping experience even more special. The quality of the mattress and fitted sheet are exceptional and I love the embroidered O&L logo on the both the mattress and sheet 😁. I’m looking to purchase the duvet cover but need to wait for a couple of pay days first! Although the products are a considered purchased you get what you pay for and that’s a quality restful sleep and I cannot recommend this brand more!

We’ve had our Owl and Lark mattress for nearly 5 years, and we love it just as much now as we did on day 1. It has completely revolutionised our sleep and I wouldn’t even consider replacing it with a different brand. It is worth every penny.

This is by far the comfiest mattress me & my wife have slept on , even better than some 5 star hotels we've been fortunate to stay in .

We recently bought a weighted blanket. The order was shipped incredibly quickly, and the blanket is amazing. The colour (we opted for green) is rich and the material is silky smooth and feels luxurious.

As with O+L’s mattresses, it’s wildly effective as a comforting, relaxing sleep aid. My wife has taken to calling it the “Sleep Bringer” like it’s some medieval weapon.

I don’t think I’ll recover from this relegation to “runner up” position in the house.

If you’re at all tempted, cast aside any reservations and just get one.

We must have tried pretty much every mattress in a box and mattress trial out there! Simba, Otty, Emma, Dreamcloud, Hypnos... the list goes on. When we came across Owl & Lark, we'd never heard of it. And given the price tag, was hesitant. We reached out to the company who were happy to respond to a myriad of questions before we decided to take the plunge. We were sick of having to send mattresses back, and my wife is disabled with complex health needs - in pain 24/7. We just wanted a miracle so she could sleep. We all know how important that is for overall health and wellbeing. We were impressed not only with the customer service, but also their ethos and research into the science of what makes up the perfect mattress to support our ability to have restorative sleep. It was a bonus that we could use Splitit to pay, and there was a 101 night sleep trial. We chose the Air Silk mattress. And it's the first time in a LONG time my wife has slept more than 2 hours straight. In fact, most nights is 5-6 hours - which is a huge improvement. Nothing is ever going to take away her pain, but having adequate support for her spine whilst being luxuriously soft enough to feel like she's sleeping on a cloud, well it's won't get any better than that for her! The welcome box is truly that. Feels like being a little spoilt whilst awaiting the arrival of the mattress. Everything about the products, packaging, and customer service is premium. It doesn't just look it, it is. Customers are important to the company and it shows in their communication and products attention to detail. We've since had the sheet and weighted blanket.This has made a massive difference to my wifes restless legs (and arms) which means she settles into sleep quicker, instead of laying awake for hours trying to get comfortable. I wish we had stumbled across this company earlier, would have saved so much messing around! We are a month into the sleep trial, and so far so good! The customer service truly is exceptional - and that really matters to us. Yes, it's expensive. I've seen so many people on social media respond to the adverts with 'how much?!' Noone moans about spending big money on a car that'll keep them safe on the road and last them a good few years, pay more for the 'extras' they want on it to make it look good, and they'll spend out to maintain it regularly - and yet we spend more time in bed than we do in our vehicles! A quality, supportive mattress keeps your spine aligned and supported, and aids restorative sleep which is essential to overall good health and wellbeing. It will last you a good 10 years or more. It's not a luxury, it is an investment into your own health. A cheap mattress made from cheap materials is not going to last long, nor be good for your health. Buy cheap, buy twice!

Ordered a 9kg (UK) weighted blanket and aside from the day I met my wife, this is the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Every single one of those nine kgs makes its presence felt. The struggle with the heavy blanket upon its unboxing only led me to respect that big silky beast even more.

Great company and customer journey!! 3hrs before Black Friday deal ended and their website wasn’t taking payments. I emailed with what I wanted and the team got back to me very quickly and built the sale, sent me a link to the payment screen and I secured the offers. Not only that but they allow you to pay with credit card monthly interest free so I got all my Amex points and makes it manageable, great idea!!

Delivery was organised quickly. I have a super king size bed and the old mattress was taken away without any hassle and the new one was taken to the bedroom and ready to go. Weighed 88kg but the guys made it look easy. They also send out a welcome pack but still waiting on that through Royal Mail and a free £100 bed sheet cause this mattress is deep!! Great experience overall with the company.

This is definitely the best mattress I have ever slept on. I got rid of the simba luxe mattress (the mattress caved in permanently. Not good for those 6ft plus and 100kg+, I’m 6.2 and 106kg for reference). I woke up so tired because I wanted to just sleep so much longer!! So supportive, especially my lower back!! Definitely worth the money. 10yr guarantee gives you peace of mind!!

The ordering process was simple. The product description and pictures were good. The order arrived within the delivery estimate.

The mask itself is lovely. The blue is really good looking and the Velcro fastening very robust. The build quality is good and the shaped element framing the nose is strong without being bothersome.

As promised, the mask provides total blackout and is very comfortable to go to sleep in. I have woken up without the mask on anymore, but I suspect that is me pushing it off due to the summer heat, rather than any design flaw.

Genuinely happy with the purchase and my only niggle would be that it isn’t cheap (the cheap ones I have tried were no good, so there’s probably something there!).
