I've been an Owndoc customer for years

I've been an Owndoc customer for years, and have never known another company like them, or another owner like Sarah Vaughter. They have the best customer service I have ever encountered anywhere, and she stands behind her products. If there is any doubt in your mind, banish it and buy from Owndoc. You will not regret it!

Be patient!

I ordered my item and received it. Yes, it took a while but thats the world we live in now. Sarah can't control the delivery time. Once you receive tracking information, just be patient and trust its on the way. Don't start freaking out on Sarah when you don't receive it in 2 weeks. She is also quick to respond to any concerns. I will definitely be a returning customer and recommend Vaughter/Owndoc. I say this based on my experience.

Thank you - I'm still doing the customer service myself, even though we grew to about 50 orders/day. That means that in times like the Christmas period, when transit times can be as long as sixty days, that every day there are a quite a few upset people who want their money back. It's all in the postal services' hands while we wring our hands and hope not too many customers will file payment disputes - apologies for my abrasive responses :-)

I ordered from the UK and my products…

I ordered from the UK and my products have arrived within 1 month, much quicker than I anticipated. The communication after purchasing was excellent, I was emailed with updates at every stage. Looking at the rollers and stamps, they look and feel much higher quality than any I've used in the past (admittedly from Amazon... cringe). The needles are much thinner and the devices feel very sturdy. Can't wait to use and will definitely repurchase in the future!

Incredible device and fast delivery

Bought a Derminator 2. Arrived to the UK within 3 weeks and I didn't have to pay any import tax. Have been using it for 2 months now. Device is fantastic and worth every single penny.
Make sure you read the instructions carefully before you start using it!

Quicker than expected delivery to Australia

I ordered the derminator 2 on August 17th 2021 from Australia during lockdown. Deliveries were expected to take 6 months and the site is very clear about this. I received it a month later in September so I made orders for further needles which were again received a month later! Sarah made contact about potential delivery delays despite the fact I was happy to wait 6 months. Very happy with product and service! Thank you Sarah.

My 1yr old Derminator 2 randomly broke down on me last night and I woke up stressed not knowing if I'll ever get to do my regular micro needling treatment again. I contacted you guys and sarah got back to me pretty quick and resolved my issue and thankfully granted me a replacement. Thank you for understanding Sarah, you made this process so much easier. I'm glad this company has reliable customer service reps so I know this isn't sus. Definitely recommend this product to anyone with hair thinning or scars they want to remove. If you're reading this and are hesitant to buy, BUY NOW, but the main thing you must never forget is be consistent with this product & generally, everything in life if you want the best results. Never give up!

Sarah's customer service is appalling. Everything is confrontational, defensive, and passive-aggressive, and starts from the premise that all communications with customers will descend into an argument.

"Russell" (real name Ryan) had some weeks prior asked for a refund for "completely destroyed" merchandise, which we granted. He did not show us evidence but we very politely refunded him without discussion or delay. Our own experiments showed that only very hard smashing with a hammer could have caused the alleged damage.

We even offered him a $130 refund towards a new machine because the merchandise he got refunded for was unsuitable for his machine and would get stuck in it, causing skin damage. We told him that, but he said he wanted to buy the unusable cartridges anyway becasue he'd bought the machine second-hand so that refund had already been given to the previous owner. We explained to him he'd been scammed by the previous owner of an unusable machine who got refunded on the condition never to resell it, since it had become obsolete.

Then today, Rusell insisted that he wanted to order those same needle cartridges that would cause skin injury and we politely said we were unwilling to do so, since that would damage his skin and he would of course again ask for a refund or even do a chargeback or, since he's a UK citizen and we a UK company, sue us for damages. We offered to sell more unusable merchandise to him if he gave us a very strong guarantee that he would not do a chargeback (four chargebacks a month and we'd lose our payment processor - if it would take us a month to find another payment processor and go through their bureacracy, that would set us back $200,000. "Russell" refused to give us any guarantee he would not ask for another refund but instead rushed to write this 1-star "review" (he should have written a 5-star review when we refunded him for completely unsubstantiated "damage"..)

Even before reading our responding to our compromise offer, he defamed us here. Rusell is one of those people whose feelings get hurt and who wants revenge when a people don't bow to his whims. He purchased a used machine that was refunded due to it being unusable and he expected us to magically solve that problem for him, e.g. give him a new machine or pull usable cartridges out of our hat for his obsolete machine. We can't do magic, "Russell". Not yet.

OwnDoc's Sarah has unbelievably poor…

OwnDoc's Sarah has unbelievably poor customer service. She doesn't seem to acknowledge how passive aggressive and rude her language is. It is by far the worst customer service I have ever come across. I merely politely asked her about my second order as it had not yet arrived and was taking a lot longer to arrive than my first order (ordered before lockdowns eased), but was met by an unexpectedly very defensive and aggressive response from Sarah. It would be fine if she communicated that it was due to the transit delays, but the way she worded her response was so patronising. I've never felt attacked by a business I purchased from until now and needless to say will not be purchasing from owndoc again. Sarah needs to evaluate her communication skills or have someone more mature respond to customer service enquiries to represent owndoc a little better. It's embarrassing and ridiculously unprofessional.

EDIT: her response is so ridiculous, it's hilarious. How can this company say that their customer has "a lack of comprehensive reading skills and an inflated ego". Her rudeness is beyond belief. She sounds like a stroppy teenager and shouldn't use autism to excuse her foul language. If I could give their customer service 0 stars I would.

Soph - order nr. 147968 - had an emotional outburst and demanded an apology when we reminded her that our store displayed in red, bold text that transit times to the UK were extremely long. For her and our convenience, because that text gave a full explanation of the reason for the delays, we quoted her that text verbatim (copy-pasted from our checkout page warning for UK transit delays) and that text contained all-caps for extra clarity because it is an important warning for the customer, when transit times can be months due to COVID-issues instead of weeks. Mail travels on passenger planes/trains and when people in the Czech Republic, where we ship from, do not travel to the UK much, then mail is delayed. That's what that store warning explained.

She did not read my reply properly and missed that it was not me that was "shouting" at her with the all-caps (emphasised) text but that I merely quoted the store warning that she had agreed to. She said she expected something apologetic. And then she freaked out and called me rude, unprofessional and a bunch more things. She just did not understand that I was not talking to her but that I quoted a stern store warning.

What I myself typed in response to her inquiry was this:

"Hi Sophie, It was shipped less than four weeks ago. We'd be very surprised if it had arrived already. The transit delays are not related to the time of year but to absolutely gigantic pandemic-related delays. We saw months of three- and even four-months transit delays, to the UK and when you ordered, we warned you in bold, red text of the following:"

Due to the COVID pandemic, transit time to the UK often is EXTREMELY LONG. We refund only when 90 days after shipping have passed. If you do not accept these conditions, DO NOT ORDER!

This "ridiculously aggressive" response lead to her defamatory revenge for hurt feelings here because we weren't *apologetic* enough for her - those were her words. She was embarrassed when she realized she'd forgotten all about or ignored our transit delay warnings (one in red, right above the "I agree" checkbox, plus a popup window). Not nice, Soph. Not nice.

Why I'm not overly polite: The About section of my site mentions in the first paragraph that I'm Autistic. People on the Autistic spectrum are straight-to-the-point and don't use polite phraseology. That is often misunderstood as "disrespect". I could have typed a lot more extra sentences about how sorry I am (for what?) and how I hope it will arrive soon, but the real reason she is out for blood is a lack of comprehensive reading skills and an inflated ego that can't handle being confronted with her mistakes.
