Evaluating 266 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently report significant delays in delivery, with many waiting months beyond estimated dates for their orders to arrive, or not receiving them at all. People also express strong dissatisfaction with product quality, often finding items to be broken, damaged, or not matching the descriptions and images advertised online. Ordered a rocking chair Feb 2026

Ordered a rocking chair Feb 2026 delivery expected a month ago, they give you a pretending tracking with absolutely no dates or who the courier company who supposedly has my chair, phone calls to them at first I thought as the recorded message uses my name it was legit, now it seems a scam, they are very clever to put all this together, I have no idea how no one has caught these crooks. Not funny taking our hard earned cash. I have alerted trading standards.

Rated 1 start as I cannot select zero…

Rated 1 start as I cannot select zero stars!
Review considers two components of their service:

Part 1 - Service and delivery:
- Whilst Oz Home Hub claims to have a support centre function, they simply do not demonstrate any customer support.
- Their phone number they post on their website is not monitored and you will never get through to a person. The electronic system simply notes that service is unavailable. Note that they will use your contact number as means of automatically detecting who’s calling and play a generated script to advise you seek support means through their website. There is a way around this by blocking your called ID which gives you more options to select from on the call but again you will hit a brick wall when the system notes you can’t get through.
- They will give you shipping date upon order which is to be completely taken with a grain of salt. My initial shipping date was 6 weeks from order but ended up being over 40 days beyond this.
- Whilst they note they will provide you with a tracking number they never do.
- When you raise a support ticket for the tracking, they keep saying that due to product being sent from overseas they are unable to track and are unable to issue you any form of tracking.
- My product was delivered before they could even issue a tracking number and I even followed up afterwards to query what the tracking number was and they still could not give it.
- Local furniture removal companies are used as delivery contractors – not even proper logistics providers.
- The product is packed so poorly that there is a high risk of damage during transit. Think flimsy carboard with a few pits of flimsy plywood strapped together.
- Noting this it would be practically impossible to return the product in the original packaging if you had any issues with it.
- Customer service portal responses are almost automatically generated and whilst they will profusely apologise for the inconvenience, they offer no help at all.
- Prices advertised on their website appear to be reduced (e.g. 50% off) to lure you in. The RRP is extortionate in its own right but the sale price is still inflated for the quality of product and service you get. Refer below.

Part 2 – Product quality (in this case a sliding door wardrobe):
- Be aware that the pictures on their website are renders and not actual photos, so product quality will differ from what you see and expect. In my case the wardrobe I ordered was delivered with much thinner timbe panels than shown on the picture. Oz Home Hub will deny there is any difference.
- Product quality is so bad. For example for the laminated timber panels on the wardrobe I ordered I expected a quality core material such as melamine but what you get in the core is a raw timber product likely from China which would unlikely pass Australia’s biosecurity laws. How they even get this material in the country is beyond me.
- The laminate quality is terrible and prone to chipping.
- Product is shipped dirty covered in dust.
- Assembly instructions are not provided, for which you must raise a support ticket on their website and request instructions. Expect another few days delay here.
- Instructions do not even provide the correct sequence of installation.
- Whilst most of the components are IKEA style such as cam lock screws, and panels are predrilled to suit, the alignment of holes is so poor that panel edges typically don’t align.
- No instructions are given for components which require you to drill holes to fit screws. e.g. for a sliding door wardrobe, no instruction is given on holes offsets for sliding door roller sets, upper and lower tracks etc. So you must figure it out for yourself. Again, their customer service department refer you to the instructions which simply don’t address installation of these items.

To put it simply, DO NOT BUY from Oz Home Hub. You are far better off buying from Bunnings or IKEA if you are after affordable furniture which will be manufactured with far greater quality products with a service team who would be willing to help you.

SCAM - Oz Home Hubs business model is collecting 30% cancellation fees…

We ordered a wall bar unit for $1,300 in February 2026 with an estimated ETA of 8 April. It is now 10 May and still no product. We have tried to get in contact with the company but have been stone walled against an AI wall. Every time we call or send a message we get an answer through an AI portal. Their business model is for you to get frustrated about non delivery and cancel an order that were never placed in the first place. They will take 30% off your order and move on to next frustrated customer. A very efficient SCAM!!

Poor quality shelves. Regret Purchase.

I ordered a set of supposedly strong, 'fireproof' storage shelving racks, and all of them are poor quality, and one was bent out of shape. The shelves are visually warped because the metal sheet used to make them is so flimsy and thin (maybe 1-2mm). You can easily twist the shelves from side to side — a sign that they will hold very little weight as they already twist and warp without anything sitting on them. The product also took 3 months to be delivered, and were only delivered one random night after I had made 3 complaints asking where my product was. I regret my purchase and think the company should be ashamed of themselves for importing such low quality product, but marketing it on their website as good quality product that is well designed and constructed. It's not! Avoid!

Please take the negative reviews very seriously!

How I wish I had taken the time to seriously read the negative reviews for Oz Home Hub!
PLEASE do this before purchasing from them!
I ordered 2 units in November 2025 which I selected after looking at many other sites for an exact fit in my small unit.
I began my twice weekly correspondence with their ticketing system in mid January 2026 when the units failed to arrive. From that point, throughout all communications, I have been told to be patient (as if somehow I am responsible for their shoddy practices!) and that they understand my frustrations!
The units did eventually arrive one night, unannounced, (there is no way to track your order) and the 4 packages were left blocking my front door. I was informed a week later that they had been delivered!
The flatpacks arrived with no building instructions, no component list and the 2 units packed randomly across the 4 packages. 85+ pieces of 'timber' with nothing to identify which unit they belonged to.
The ticketing system told me to find a QR code which I did eventually but is was too blurry to be of any use. From the beginning of February I have had at least twice weekly communications with their 'ticketing system' trying to resolve the lack of instructions. I was sent 2 sets of unworkable instructions twice! Finally, recently I got moved to the Returns/Refunds department because I kept requesting a refund due to to the good being deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law (due to the inability to build because there were no viable instructions or components list). The lack of instructions meant that the 5 people who tried to help me on different occasions, could not build the units either.
A week ago I was informed that I was in the wrong department - I needed to be talking with the 'Defective Goods' area.
This I did and they told me that I had been sent the available instructions. I was told that I needed to package up the goods and send them back at my cost, via the Returns/Refund Dept. and they will assess whether I can get a refund.
Their website states that you can only get a refund if the goods are sent back in their original packaging within 30 days of receiving them!!!! Not possible of course because I was originally asked to unpack to look for instructions, now over 3 months ago! Goodbye $800 which I can ill afford on my Age Pension.
How this company is still in business is beyond my comprehension. They appear to not care in the slightest about their customers. As time goes on, the reviews for this company do not appear to have improved. Any reputable company would be deeply concerned and be making attempts to improve their status.
The last thing I wanted to do at the start of this saga was write any kind of negative review or make a report to Consumer Affairs. However, Consumer Affairs it is - this company must either be shut down or made more accountable!!!

Further to my review dated

Further to my review dated 15 December 2025, I finally received my futon couch in January. Only to find out that it is faulty, and the company has actually admitted in writing that there was a problem during manufacturing. The locking mechanism on one side does not lock into place. So the options they gave me - a replacement, a full refund if I return the couch, or a 30% refund if I keep the couch. I haven’t actually been able to talk to anyone about it, repeated requests have been ignored. If I return it, I have to pay for the freight… to their warehouse in Perth! I’m in Melbourne. If I get a replacement, they won’t take the faulty one away, it’s up to me to pay for it. I can’t begin to describe how disgusted I am by this company. I’m an age pensioner and they are taking advantage of me. I have spoken to Consumer Affairs, they said that I definitely have a case, but it would take roughly a year to be heard. I have reported them to the ACCC as well. I feel that I now have no choice but to accept the paltry 30% and be stuck with a faulty product. I really wish that I could give zero stars or even in the minus. The most unethical company I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with.

They are allusive, don't allow phone calls and their communication is completely unprofessional. DO NOT USE THEM ! They are complete SCAM ARTISTS.

Avoid dealing with OzHomeHub

We had the unfortunate experience to choose furniture and make a purchase with OzHomeHub. The order was placed on 26 February 2026 with a delivery date of first week April. Now in May and this company can not provide any detail about a delivery date.
In the process of trying to communicate with this company “by ticket lodgement only” as they do not take phone calls, we found OzHomeHub to be extremely arrogant, uncaring and not willing to provide a refund.
Beware OzHomeHub as they will take your money, then order the item from some random overseas provider and keep you waiting for months with nil proactive communication. Do not enter into dealings with them as they cannot be trusted

Stay clear of this company

A complete disgrace. I only discovered the Trustpilot reviews after the fact—by then I’d already been pulled in by their polished marketing. Frankly, it’s baffling how this company is still operating, let alone convincing anyone to buy from them.

I placed an order in February for a shoe bench and a coat rack. Every request for an update was met with vague, non-answers. When the delivery finally arrived, it was wrong—two coat racks and no shoe bench, despite only ordering one.

To make matters worse, both phone and email channels funnel you into a useless order management system where you can’t even properly lodge a complaint. There is no real customer support, no accountability, and clearly no intention to resolve issues.

In a market where serious companies compete on service and reliability, this business shows zero respect for its customers. An absolute embarrassment.

I purchased Classic Glam Bed Nightstand…

I purchased Classic Glam Bed Nightstand Stone Bedside Cabinet with Drawers, Colour Royal Blue, 2 Piece Set.
Took 5 months to deliver the wrong item & to be told that light blue is like navy blue.
Company failed to honour their
advertised "return order for free" policy & required me to cover freight cost to return for a refund. Promised to replace item with correct item & 5 months later still have not received.
Item delivered is poor quality. Do not buy anything from this company. Very bad customer service.

Would rate 0 if I could.

Would rate 0 if I could.
Item took 4 months to arrive. Terrible customer service with providing updates and rude responses, once received, the item was full of scratches and paint chips and dents.
Oz Home hub refused to provide compensation due to the damage only being 'cosmetic' and not affecting the use of the product.
No instructions to assemble item. Really cheap bad quality.
This company while not a scam, is unethical and should be shut down.

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY. OVERPRICED CHINESE CRAP.
Zero customer support. Very poor quality product. No assembly instructions. Should be called Chinese Home Hub.

They give a phone number but it is an automated system that just tells you to post a ticket in their website. If you do they don't respond. After waiting 10 weeks we received three boxes containing about 50 pieces and 200 screws and fittings. There were 2 outline drawings with Chinese text and no detail. I contacted them to ask for assembly instructions and they told me to raise a ticket, to which they haven't responded. Even if they do have instructions they would be very difficult to follow because the parts aren't numbered.

I spent two full days working out myself how to assemble it. The parts don't fit together properly and some of the fixing holes are either missing or in the wrong place. The fixings are very basic with no attempt to conceal them.

We paid AU$1,828 for something that I would value to be worth less that AU$400.

Hopeless and nothing “Oz” about it

Hopeless and nothing “Oz” about it. I suspect this “Scandinavian style furniture” is in fact coming from china. More importantly, it is VERY slow, the tracking app doesn’t work, there’s no one to call to elevate the problem and I think I am just getting an AI app which tells you “we understand you must be very frustrated, without ever providing any status updates on the product delivery. “Oz Home” is misleading. Avoid this company!

WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL…

WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH, if only this had minus stars it would be TEN
What should have been a 3 week delivery was 9 weeks, then item was damaged.... To contact them is near impossible, you call they even know your name and you get no further than they will get back to you, then they tell you contact is thru a ticketing system in which when you submit you then have to wait for their response before you can contact them again, they just keep going around in circles asking for same information over and over its now 3 weeks since I requested return for refund in damaged chair. I finally got the ok to Return item but at my cost, i got quote from Aust post, $345 (chair was only $322) Since then I have been emailing, phoning and getting knowhere for them to take responsibility for the return of faulty goods .... Read reviews in their own page so many going thru the same thing
SO AGAIN STEER CLEAR it's not worth the headaches
They need to be reported to Fair Trade ACCC by everyone who has isues

Six-month delay and attempted 30%…

Six-month delay and attempted 30% "cancellation fee" for non-delivery.
I placed an order with Oz Home Hub in October 2025. As of late April 2026, the item has still not been delivered.
Despite multiple follow-ups, I was repeatedly met with generic excuses regarding "holiday backlogs" and "transit delays." When I finally requested a cancellation four months into the wait, the company attempted to withhold a 30% "cancellation fee" or force a store credit.
Under Australian Consumer Law, consumers are entitled to a full refund when a business fails to supply goods within a reasonable timeframe. Internal "cancellation policies" do not supersede statutory rights in cases of non-performance by the vendor.
Further attempts to resolve this were met with "procedural stalling," including being redirected to a support portal that was non-functional for the order in question.

SCAM

SCAM! AVOID!
My pregnant wife paid over $500 for a dresser for our newborn’s nursery which is the poorest quality piece of furniture I’ve ever seen. We’ve now been waiting nearly a year for a refund and the business won’t take our calls or respond to emails. It’s such poor quality that even a qualified handy man wasn’t able to put it together properly. We now have to go down the path of legal action to get them to respond.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

AVOID AVOID AVOID - Having placed an order just under $800 for a buffet in November 2025 and delivery suppose to be 20 December finally received it in February damaged and missing pieces. Currently 20th April 2026 and still waiting for 2 sets of hinges. Cannot speak to anyone, ticket system that is clearly AI and lucky if you get a response. Seems to be an overseas company as emails are generally received at very early AM. This has made me very weary of purchasing anything online from now on. This company needs to be held accountable. Absolutely disgusting.
Update: finally received the missing 2 sets of hinges 11/05/2026. No instructions on how to fit them. No markings on where to drill. Now I have to be a carpenter!
