Decided it was time to upgrade my older gaming pc to something a little more modern, and as my son had been to Phase 4 several times with regards his laptop I reached out for some info.
Long story short, the initial components I got had issues with faults, which the staff helped me to find, but once replacements were sorted the upgrade was handled in next to no time professionally.
I am more than happy with the service I received, and the price for the work was very competitive. I will definitely be enlisting their services again.

The team at phase 4 were polite, knowledgeable and the job was turned around within 24 hours which was great.

The price was more than fair.

I've worked with the team at Phase4 in Harrogate a few times now, and I can honestly say they’re one of the best repair outfits in North Yorkshire.

Most recently, I had a tricky issue with a motherboard RAM slot. It didn’t seem like a major problem at first, but when I installed some brand-new RAM sticks from an RMA, my PC started acting up in strange ways. I reached out to Phase4, and their response was excellent—professional, clear, and empathetic.

They took the time to understand the symptoms and carried out rigorous testing. Eventually, they identified a rare fault with the RAM sticks themselves—something Corsair later confirmed, issuing an advanced RMA. I was really impressed by how Phase4 approached the issue, combining technical expertise with excellent communication and a down-to-earth attitude.

Beyond the technical fix, what sets Phase4 apart is their reliability, honesty, and overall quality of service. They’re competitively priced, humble, and genuinely care about getting things right for their customers.

From both personal experience and extensive review research online, I can confidently say Phase4 stands out among all the repair shops I’ve encountered in North Yorkshire. Great team, great work—they absolutely deserve the recognition.

My icons disappeared yesterday(I just press yes to everything) took in at 9am completely back to normal by 3 pm service with a lovely lovely smile and a STOP PRESSING YES warning!! Lovely lovely chaps…

I took our laptop to Phase 4. It was only working when plugged into the mains. Phase 4 ordered and tried a new battery but the problem remained. They suggested returning the laptop to Asus as it was only just out of guarantee and the problem was probably the motherboard. Phase 4 also rectified a fault with its audio. Though not managing to repair the laptop they did not charge me at all. I would certainly recommend them.

Taking my very sad slow and temperamental computer for a look at and repair I was expecting a huge bill or buy a replacement. Never been so wrong! Richard listened patiently, asked a few questions in an understanding manner and we left with a cheery "leave it with us, we will be in touch soonest". Next morning came a diagnosis I could understand, a quote I could afford and a timescale explaining everything. Collecting the computer a couple of days later and even better news that it was cheaper than estimate. Wonderful service, very nice people, gently informative and a pleasure to deal with. Until l came to Phase 4, who solved the intermittent problem with my computer, l had been told l needed a new computer by other repair companies and had not been able to get a repair carried out - a new computer was the only suggestion. Richard sorted it with a smile - very pleased!

Absolutely fantastic, would definitely use for all computer needs. Rich was incredibly patient and kind answering my son's and my questions re putting together a custom PC, and was really knowledgeable and gave us some excellent advice. No problems with us sourcing some items ourselves, and great build service and value. Can't recommend highly enough! Thankyou!!

Excellent!!! The manager (Rich) is extremely knowledgeable and does not talk a load of jargon! Charlie is very polite and also very knowledgeable. I wouldn't take my laptop any where else! Seriously the best PC shop in Harrogate!
