Outstanding value for money. I paid for a full structural survey of my 5 bedroom Victorian semi detached house, I wanted to know what if any problems I could expect from the old house.

Iain prepared a detailed Building Survey of a period property for us which we found comprehensive and very helpful. We particularly valued his recommendations regarding the ongoing maintenance which the property will require.

A very prompt and workable service. Iain produced a lengthy but very helpful report which he was happy to discuss at length. Very user friendly and practical.

Iain was great from the start. He explained what survey would be best for us to have on the house we were purchasing and why, he then guided us through what he would be looking for and kept in contact all the way. The report was extremely detailed and thorough, picking up on a number of items that needed reviewing. With the help of his report we were able to renegotiate the price. I would recommend Iain to all my family and friends and look forward to working with him again in the future.

Iain provided great communications from my first contact, answering questions and helping me to identify the best kind of survey to choose – the walk-through. He provided a great many photos and talked me through them on a Zoom call, which is a great option particularly for a first-time buyer (with lots of questions!). This was later followed by the written-up report, which included guidance on services to use as well as prioritising issues to address. Really helpful, thorough and valuable service. I'd definitely recommend.

A very professional company, very happy with the survey, and can not recommend them enough

We chose the “walkthrough” survey which was so much more helpful than the weighty and terrifying reports we’ve received in the past- Iain talked us through his survey photo-by-photo (on a zoom call) until we understood all the issues with our purchase and he gave helpful advice about what needed doing, how (even what products to use), and in what timescale.

Of course the report followed, but we were able to make our decision based on the walkthrough.

Iain carried out a full condition survey of a property we are buying and was very thorough, the report was very detailed and Iain agreed to include information specific to work we are hoping to carry out on the property which was helpful. We also had a lengthy detailed phone call soon after his visit to discuss the main issues and Iain also provided help / guidance on issues we had with our lenders valuation of the property.
