We hired a Harry Potter party for a 8 year old. Communication was brilliant throughout. Very understanding when Royal Mail tried to collect the box afterwards outside of timeframe originally given and reorganised another collection for us without any fuss.
The party package itself was amazing. A little daunting when first opening the box and seeing everything, but after a couple of practice run throughs it was absolutely fine. The party went so smoothly, the script and timings were very accurate and impressively thought out. The contents of the box were brilliant (especially the monster book and the cauldron mist) and every single child was fully engaged throughout and had an amazing time. I would say the party was spot on for a group of 7/8 year olds, but my 9 year old niece and 5 year old daughter also loved it! I would definitely recommend and use again.

We hired the Lego party package from Packaway Parties for our son’s 7th birthday and it was brilliant. Everything arrived in plenty of time and the party plan made it really easy to organise and run.

The children had a great time and loved all the activities, the car building and racing was a huge hit. The games and Lego kept around 20 seven year olds entertained and engaged throughout the party.

Liz was also really helpful in the lead up to the party. I’d definitely recommend Packaway Parties to other parents.

We hired the Harry Potter party for our daughter's 8th birthday and we all had a great time! The box includes fantastic instructions for all the games, each one was different and the kids enjoyed it a lot. The sorting hat was brilliant! Liz was fantastic for communication and any questions that we had.

We hired a lego kit for my daughter's 6th birthday party. I loved the eco credentials that we were hiring rather than buying things we would never need again. The builder high vis jackets, sticker charts and the sheer amount of lego had a real wow factor for the 13 kids who came along. I also loved that we could send back the millions of pieces of lego after it ended!! The games were thoughtful and organised and there was more than enough to keep the 5 and 6 year olds entertained for 2 hours. The build a car game was a particular hit. Thank you Liz!

Liz was so helpful and responsive right from the very start. We hired the Harry Potter party package for my daughter's 8th birthday and it was great to have everything planned out for us. The (huge number of!) room decorations transformed our house, the games were so well planned with brilliant interactive props and the costumes for the kids and adults were a big hit! It was so much fun running the party and I love that I didn't have to plan it all myself. I would definitely recommend packaway parties.

My son had a fantastic Pokemon party for his 8th birthday. The communication with Liz throughout has been excellent and made running the party straightforward and stress free. The pack comes with a comprehensive guide with timings for running the games which worked perfectly. All the kids had a fantastic time and several said it was the best party ever!

Great idea and the part package had everything you needed for the party. We had the Lego party and the kids loved the games especially the stealth game. Some games we didn’t play as the kids were not interested at times but we played most of them. I also hired for the deluxe pack which was great not having to think of party bags and decorations

Such a great idea! We had the Harry Potter party package which was brilliant. You literally have everything needed to keep the children entertained, plus more than enough decorations. The folder with instructions and party plan was amazing. I was worried we would get through everything too quick but the children loved the games so much we had to do them multiple times and ended up running behind and forgetting to do the potion tasting! Liz answered all my questions promptly and was super helpful. I would definitely recommend.

My son had a fantastic 8th birthday party with Packaway Parties. We had a Lego themed box and the decorations and giant sack of Lego turned the living room into an epic Lego building zone! The box contained loads of great activities and the info on how to run the party and games was all very clear and simple. My son and his friends enjoyed all the challenges! It was lovely to pack it all away at the end and post it back too, a really clever and sustainable way to run a party. Would recommend to others and use again.

An excellent service!

Liz was responsive and made everything very straightforward and clear. It was so much better to be able to hire than buy everything myself and then have it all left over at home with no further use. The party ideas were great and the kids had a great time.

Excellent service , brilliant party package , we got the Lego party package and there was so much included with the package we never actually got through it all, will deffo recommend for any little Lego fans , party was a great hit

I hired the Princess party box for my daughters 6th birthday party. This is the 2nd box I have hired as we all had a great time with the Pokemon box before. It did not disappoint. All the girls loved the dressing up, decorations, games, skills cards and especially making the magic potion. Thank you for sending everything and the detailed itinerary with timings. A fantastic party.

We used Pack Away Parties for our daughter's 6th birthday. She is obsessed with Pokémon, as are her friends and the Pokémon party box did not disappoint! I loved how organised the box was and how much thought had gone into it all. The games were a hit with all of the kids - there's a great variety of activities and they're based on familiar games so the kids picked up what they had to do really quickly. I would 100% recommend using packaway parties!

We’ve used this amazing party company twice now, and each time they’ve absolutely nailed it! For our 9-year-old’s birthday, we chose the Roald Dahl theme, and everything—from decorations to games—came beautifully packed in a box. It was pure genius. The kids were completely swept up in the storybook magic and even described it as “the best party ever.”

Their previous Harry Potter themed box was equally impressive, turning our living room into a mini Hogwarts. The attention to detail was spot-on. The sweet shop setup for party bags was a real hit, and every child left with eyes sparkling and pockets full.

Communication with the company was excellent—clear instructions, fast responses, and zero stress. They made party planning so easy and fun. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

I have just used a Harry Potter themed pack away party for my daughter’s 9th birthday party and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From start to finish the whole process was so straightforward and Liz was so helpful and friendly, taking the stress out of the party planning for me. Everything in the pack was fabulous-the props and decorations really set the scene, the games were really fun and engaging for all of the children and the instruction folder detailing how everything worked and running order etc was so easy to follow and resulted in a smooth running, brilliantly fun, amazing party that I’m sure my daughter will remember for years to come!!

The party contents are great
The party plan was quiet helpful, though we improvised a bit we didn't exhaust all the games..
The kids really had fun.
We choose the Star Wars theme.
The Musical Force Game was our most favourite.

I will definitely Hire Parkway parties again and refer to my friends .

A fantastic concept! We hired the Star wars party package for my 9yr old son's bday and he lived it! The decorations were fantastic and really set the scene well. Unfortunately, it was unbearably hot so we had to improvise through as many games as possible. The props were great, the sweet shop was great but I would say it was a push to keep some of the 9yr olds engaged and I would say this would be a 8/9yr old suitable package at most. Otherwise no complaints, great communication and great service! Would definitely recommend particularly for younger children

We ordered the Harry Potter box for our daughter’s 8th birthday party and it was amazing! The backdrops and signs totally transformed our house. The kids LOVED the sorting hat. The games are all really well planned and helped us add a bit of structure. The monster book and sweet shop were the other big hits, they were all so excited to have a go at getting the book to open. The box arrived with plenty of time for us to familiarise ourselves with the plan and also had a full itinerary check list and box repacking instructions. Thanks so much Liz, the girls all loved it!

We had an amazing Harry Potter themed party for my daughter's 8th birthday. The party box arrived two days before the event giving us ample time to prepare and contained everything we needed to host a really fun event. The games were well thought out, age appropriate, and thoroughly enjoyed by all the kids. I highly recommend Packaway Parties and would definitely use them again!
