34L Inverter Combination Microwave Oven

34L Inverter Combination Microwave Oven
Bought ours 28 weeks ago direct from Panasonic Official UK Store.

Noticed rust spots. Panasonic couldn’t care less. Saying, it’s our fault. Even though it was meticulously cleaned.
We bake two cakes (local charity) each week – time 30mts per cake, 1 hour per week. It is used for breakfast, 2 mts per day, 14 mts per week.

Standard ‘automatic’ reply requesting: full address and contact number, type and quantity of food that was being cooked when this issue occurred, serial number of the unit, pictures showing where the microwave oven is placed within your kitchen, photos of the cavity (interior of the unit). As my wife and I are of a ‘certain age’ sending the photos was a challenge.

The microwave is now deemed UNSAFE to continue using.
Panasonic deliberately stall & issue repeatedly ‘stock’ response to make customers give up and go away! Large company vs the ‘little guy’ syndrome.
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 makes it an implied term that goods be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality.

We have contacted the Dispute Resolution Ombudsman after requesting a, ‘Deadlock’ letter from Panasonic which arrived VERY quickly! Indicating that Panasonic automatically go down this route on a routine basis. Possibly using AI to generate ‘auto’ responses.

28 weeks old, 34.5hrs usage and nearly £300 – now useless!
Bottom line: DO NOT BUY PANASONIC

Needed a part for my razor urgently

Uprated from 1 star, but still only worthy of 2.
Finally received the item I needed after Panasonic had confirmation from DHL that my order had been lost in transit. My experience has been stressful and I've had to waste too much of my time chasing Panasonic to sort out my issue and take responsibility instead of just giving me automated generic answers via WhatsApp.
I needed a part for my razor urgently. Order ref: PS7399362-1755978429. It was supposed to be 2 business days for delivery. DHL have had the item since Wednesday 27th August. Tracking says out for delivery on Thursday 28th August. It's now Monday 1st September and the tracking has not changed.
Tried contacting both DHL and Panasonic but have got absolutely nowhere.
Nobody is able to tell me what is happening.

Poor service

The kneading blade for bread machine was ordered 2 weeks ago and hasn't yet arrived (Order number: PAN400500380). Tried to contact their customer service (Hilux) but they were neither capable of giving correct information nor know when this item will be delivered. This is pretty poor service from Panasonic.

Misleading Advertising !

I watched ALL the vids about the Panasonic hair trimmer, see below please..

Quantity Product Total
1 MULTISHAPE Beard/Hair/Body Trimmer Head Attachment ER-CTW1-A311 £24.99
1 Store Promotion £-6.25
Subtotal £18.74
Standard Delivery £4.00
Order Total £22.74

Now it turns out
(Item as yet undelivered but should arrive soon)

that I Haven't even bought the trimmer but the trimmer PARTS, SO IT IS OF NO USE WITHOUT THE MAIN part which makes it all Work ??????

VERY, VERY MISLEADING.

I'm going to now ask for a refund.

THIS IS SAD THAT THIS CAN HAPPEN to the vulnerable, I am registered disabled too, shame on HOW they advertised this item on their OWN Site !

They made a mistake and refused to rectify it.

Purchased a Panasonic reconditioned OLED TV through the eBay outlet story. There was a special discount available at the time.

The TV was delivered without the foam packaging inserts. It wasn’t labelled ‘this was up’ or ‘handle with care’ and DPD delivered it upside down. The screen was bent and cracked on both top corners. I contacted seller and they didn’t respond so arranged a return. They responded to the contact to say they could replace it (I wanted a replacement). Then they picked up the broken TV and refunded me instead. I complained and they said because I’d raised a return they couldn’t do anything about it. I had to repurchase. But the TV had gone up (only by £20) which I pointed out and they said there was nothing they could do. They could have simply honoured my original price as it was their mistake. Awful service.

Fab support from Ahmed

Panasonic just released a new 4 in 1 combi-microwave and I received an email offering a whopping 30% off. I had some questions about the item and contacted them via web chat. I was swiftly connected to Ahmed who answered all my questions and even sent me a link to a relevant user manual. I went back online but then had difficulties ordering. I rang Panasonic. Managed to get through to Ahmed in person. The item had sold out. Ahmed reassured me that more stock would be made available. A few hours later he rang me to let me know stock was available. Item ordered. Discount applied. What great service. Thank you Ahmed.

Ordered the new EAH-AZ100 earphones

Ordered the new EAH-AZ100 earphones, when they were delivered it was clearly a customer return, it had sticky label residue on the front of the packaging as well as the rear, another seal label covering the old one and there were smudges on the earpiece and a possible speck of earwax. Disgusting.

I sent Panasonic customer service details of this including images of what I received and they said that their dedicated team will get back to me via email. I expect this to have been dealt with haste considering the circumstances but they did not get back to me at all. First and last time ordering with them.

Edit: They did finally get back to me, but they didn't do any investigative work simply saying they don't sell used products as new. Lady, unless you were the one packaging my item, you aren't to know. Their blatant lack of responsibility is absolutely disgusting. Not even an attempt to apologise. Who is running the customer service department at Panasonic, it's baffling to have this bad customer service in 2025. Ridiculous. -1/10

Very little support offered in relation…

Very little support offered in relation to my issue. Microwave rusting within 18 months of purchase, told "not in warranty". That was it.

No good will gestures, no advice on repairs, no recommendations of services to correct the issue.

Just a really poor experience so I wouldn't recommend Panasonic or their products to anyone.

Other online retailers far better

Bought a TV from Panasonic online on sale. On arrival it only had 1yr warranty so returned. Panasonic refused to recommend courier so I picked Evri on cost. Caveat emptor as Evri then lost the return and refuse to compensate as it turns out TVs are not covered in their T&Cs. Panasonic refunded me as a goodwill gesture while Evri investigation ongoing but have since chased me for the money back. I’m very much out of pocket and wish I had never bought from Panasonic UK. Beware.

Kudos to Panasonic UK Sales Team for blocking customers

Sales manager of Panasonic UK online shop suddenly decided she doesn't like me using their store anymore so as a result started cancelling whatever I ordered no matter the item or the quantity. She had made it clear to me that she won't sale more than 4 items to a single address.
It was a unique and distressing scenario for me as you won't expect to visit local Currys and Argos and the sales manager come to you and say on your face Buy four items or more and you are blocked from this store. Their attitude was like if they were throwing stuffs for free and want to distribute their freebies evenly. Can anyone tell me where this country is heading towards? Panasonic Japan if you are listening take some notes and perhaps do something about it.

Appalling customer service (processes)

Received a new microwave from them - kept packaging for 1 month to be on safe side. Shortly after disposal of packaging microwave went dead after cooking something simple. Rang to discuss problem and was offered refund or replacement - opted for replacement, then the fun began. First received an email asking for photos of product before they could activate replacement. Sent these and heard nothing back after 24hrs....chased and they said a collection/replacement had just been authorised - asked when I would be in 'next week' - gave them dates and they said I'd get email about collection 'in a day or two' - after 48hrs I got a collection authorisation form and a DHL label and collection date 4 days hence, with instructions to 'package product carefully'. No mention of replacement so I rang and queried and said I had no robust packaging materials for a heavy item of this size - they suggested I buy some from a local shop! They also said the replacement would only be authorised when they had received and 'processed' the return - I said forget replacement, give me a refund and they said they would arrange this when return processed. Its quicker for me to go and buy another (NON PANASONIC) locally, otherwise I'll have been 3 weeks without cooking. Their whole set up is not set up for modern customer service standards - I'd have been better off with Amazon! Moral of story - read Trustpilot before using a new online retailer - the other reviews I can now see would have deterred me from ordering in first place

Very unhappy

Hi there,

I’ve had zero response to my email and am left without a safe working microwave.

Hope you’re well.

I am so confused, I was safely heating up some food and the glass shattered and just put a hole in my microwave that I only purchased from you in April and started using in July when I moved into my first home.

I have followed all safety guidelines and had a few issues with it. Making crackling noises and even causing a power cut once.

Are you ok to replace it? I don’t want it inspecting. My parents and I feel it’s unsafe and family have used Panasonic for generations! Ordering details below and images attached.
Thanks so much, Liv

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would! I ordered a TV directly from the Panasonic website. It arrived as planned so I unpacked it and paid an engineer to come and set it up as I'm useless at tech stuff. Only when I tried to register the warranty did I realise that the TV I'd received was not the model I ordered. The customer service centre unbelievably is closed over the weekend!! I called on Monday and was told my issue would be dealt with and I would receive a response by email. Two days layer I received an email asking for photos of the box, shipping label and model number label on the back of the TV which is now fixed to the wall!!!! Although the TV I have is a cheaper model than the one I ordered, I'm happy to keep it but O need Panasonic to send me an update sales receipt with the updated number and also a refund of the difference between what I paid and the price of the TV I received. Neither of these things are forthcoming. I've been a customer of Panasonic for over 20 years and this will be my LAST purchase! Customer service is absolutely appalling!!!!!

UPDATE: Panasonic sent me a new invoice for the TV I received and it was addressed to someone else which is a breach of data protection. No indication of reimbursement for the difference in the price of the TV I ordered and the one I received!!

Avoid Panasonic steam oven NN-DS59BBPQ

That’s so awful and shameful experience about their product quality and after sales service policy. I bought a 4 in 1 steam oven NN-DS59BBPQ since 2022. Majority of time I’m using steam function so it always require to put grill tray into it. However, after 1 year usage the grill tray start rusted and become worst until now. It’s look scary and unacceptable. I tried to contact their customer service, they said the machine needed to repair but it’s out of warranty so I have to bare the cost of repair. Even if I just look for another grill tray replacement, they claimed that is chargeable…This steam oven worth for £450, not cheap brand…It shown how bad after service they provide and absolutely don’t want to take any responsible to their consumers.
