Panasonic app / integration fails
The Panasonic app does not work integrated with Tibber as promised because Panasonic updated the app and has not shared the code for the new API. Many people have purchased Panasonic heat pumps and signed up for Tibber because of the ability to operate based on electricity prices. Panasonic heat pumps are marketed as premium products and cost more than others, which is worth it if you can save money through smart control. Many buy these pumps solely because they work with Tibber. Before the integration stopped working this year, it functioned well and was a real money-saver.
When the integration with Tibber (an electricity provider) stopped working, it was because Panasonic updated the app and chose not to share the new code with Tibber. In conversations with Panasonic, they claimed Tibber had not reached out to them, which feels suspicious. No one is taking responsibility, and as a result, the Panasonic pump is as effective as one costing 20,000 SEK less. Moreover, it makes clicking and popping noises. The quiet operation that Panasonic boasts about is only due to a setting that makes the fan run at a very low speed. At normal speed, it sounds like any old plastic box. Tip: Don't buy this if you intend to use it in a room you spend a lot of time in. It clicks and pops, and Panasonic claims it's normal because the materials change with heat. However, this is not acceptable in a heat pump.
Now that Tibber cannot control it, I have set up a weekly schedule in the Panasonic app, which is also nothing to brag about. For instance, you can't set the fan speed you want—only temperature and "mode."

Innan det slutade fungera i år fungerade det bra och var en riktig spargris. När det slutade fungera som en integration i tibber (elbolag) berodde det på att Panasonic uppdaterat och inte vill dela med sig av ny kod till tibber. I samtal med Panasonic säger de att tibber inte hört av sig ville tje känns lurigt. Ingen gör alltså något åt saken och panasonicpumpen är alltså lika effektiv som den 20.000 kr billigare. Knäpper och låter gör den dessutom. Det tysta värde som Panasonic skryter med är enbar på grund av att det finns ett läger som gör att fläkte går på riktigt lågt var. På normalt varv låter den som vilken gammal plastlåda som helst. Tips: köp inte om du ska ha i ett rum som du ofta är i. Det smäller och käpper i den och panasonic tycker att det är normalt eftersom materialet förändras av värme. Men det är ju inte rimligt i en värmepump.
När tibber inte nu kan styra så har jag ställt veckoschema i panasonicappen som inte heller den är något att hänga i gran. Det går inte att ställa in ex. vilken fläkt hastighet man vill ha. Enbart temperatur och "mode"
