The Best Tour personal

The host Jose, the driver and the bus ride, the Austrian countryside and weather, and the stopping points were all outstanding

Bridgette was absolutely fantastic. She made the tour an enjoyable morning. I cannot recommend any changes. Keep up the good work. I'll tell any friends heading into the area to make sure to grab your bus.

Mitch was a fantastic tour guide. He was engaging, funny, knowledgeable about both The Sound of Music and the Salzburg area, and an absolute delight to be with.

Really efficient well organised and easy to book. Tour guide was excellent and salt mine well worth the visit. Addition trip to Berchtesgaden was also very pleasant.

Went on the Sound of Music tour. What a way to spend my birthday! The tour was a joy from start to finish. Jose was extremely knowledgeable and it was so interesting to hear his stories about meeting the cast and the real Von Trapp family. He made the whole experience really memorable for us. Its not cheap, but worth every penny with all of the locations the tour takes in. Highly recommended!!

There are no words to accurately describe our tour guide, Jose, who was funny, cute (not many men carry off lederhosen as well as he), genuinely enthusiastic and, importantly, incredibly knowledgeable about the film, the actors, the movie's behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and the actual von Trapp family members, their lives before and after the movie. His enthusiasm is totally infectious, even if, like me, you're not a rabid fan of "The Sound of Music," and by the end you will have felt that it was four hours really well spent. In addition, it's lovely to get out of the city - the Austrian landscape is so beautiful, so green, it's just pure happiness. Jose keeps things moving briskly, there's never a dull moment.

We took the sound of music tour with Jose very friendly and approachable had lots of humor good jokes lots of history was actually a fantastic storyteller. I do not remember the name of the bus driver, but he had excellent skills as well. I would say other than the steep price tag for four stops, which I am guessing to fuel if you’re looking for a great experience and simply love the sound of music then you must go on this tour. You are spending close to 90 minutes worth of traveling so just be aware lots of city sites when they could’ve done city and then done countryside sites separately or as an add-on €140 for two people at the time of this post.

The tour was amazing, great atmosphere created by the guide Jose and the driver who were spirited throughout. The facts about the family an the film combined with the wonderful locations was a great experience and one we will be recommending to everyone back home

Great tour. Jose was an excellent tour guide. Kept us entertained the whole time. The Sound of Music was a drawcard for us in travelling to Austria. Glad to have gone on this tour. Fantastic to hear the some backstories of the movie but more importantly it was wonderful to see some of the beautiful places where the movie was shot.

An entertaining and informative tour in Salzburg, for a Sound of Music fan, our tour guide, Kylie was absolutely brilliant and first class with all the energy and enthusiasm she bought to the coach. Every detail was covered as we stopped at each place to experience all that made The Sound of Music so special, and Kylie made sure we left with the memories of a fabulous trip, thoroughly recommend to anyone who wants to share in the story of Maria and the Von Trapps

What a hoot!! Kylie was a fantastic tour guide with plenty of knowledge and a Sound of Music tragic herself. She was very informative about the history of the musical, the sets and behind the scenes information you would never find out about. The tour took us to many shooting scenes and Kylie was a great sing leader when it came time to do that on the bus. One of the best and "most fun" tours we have been on, and in many ways, all down to Kylie's approach, passion and personality!!

My sisters, mum and I had the best time on this tour! David the tour guide and Alex the driver were very friendly and David had lots of great facts at each spot we stopped at. The weather was beautiful so it was a great day to see the amazing Lake district, my only wish is that we had a bit more time in this area. We ticked off lots of sights and had a great sing song there and back with all the hits. I would thoroughly recommend for a fab day out.

Kylie was great! We had a real Maria with us during the whole tour singing and making the whole bus sing many times during the tour 😃. The stories about filming and the real von Trapp family's life were really interesting.
Full recommendation for taking the tour when visiting Salzburg.

The tour was absolutely fantastic and our guide (Kylie) and driver (Evo) both brought energy and enthusiasm - keeping us all entertained and smiling. 10/10 a must do experience!!

Wonderful guide, who had so much knowledge about the area and other things too

The sites were beautiful but what made the tour extra special was our tour guide José. He described each location and how it fit into the movie very well but what really put it over the top was how he tied everything to the visitors every day life. He kept us engaged and we were so compelled at the end we even gave him a hug!
