What a two bit company this is.... Run by Fraudulent couple John Tanner and Emma.... I bought a SLS back in November 2021... It is now April 2022.... I was told it would be 28 days.... When questioned after the 28 days.... No answer.... Email after email withe the same generic reply.... Thankyou for your enquiry, someone will contact you within 48 hours... What a load of twollop... Please give this company a very wide birth... They will not refund your money.... There policy is "Credit Note Only".... Why the heck would anyone want a credit note for something they have never received.... And why would they want anything else off them..... Be careful folks.... They have no conscious or guilt for what they are doing...they need to be struck off..... 🤬

I am shocked to hear and see that Mr Tanner and Co have been scamming for years... How can they still be getting away with this..... He needs to be stopped....

This "company" are absolute scam artists. Ordered and paid £375 in full up front for a para ovilus in april 2021. Never received item, received no communication unless i instigated it, constantly fobbed off and given excuses. Requested refunds several times under Consumer Rights Act, told i couldn't have one by "admin". Absolute JOKE of a company!!

Company promoting ParaVox with a 20% discount so took the plunge and made a purchase. It stated up to 20 day build time, that’s fine as they are made to order. However after 30 days no sign of product, I messaged though their app, emails, messenger and even tried phoning. No reply to messages and phone answering machine was full so could not leave messages. In the end I had to take a dispute out with PayPal. I was one of the lucky ones and received my money back. Never again will I deal with this shoddy company. Keep your money safe guys and purchase elsewhere

I went to visit the shop with the expectation of a closed sign. Tel number on the door which I called and The owner came. I was so expecting trouble and my purchases never arrived in months.
I was so wrong, the owner opened the shop, asked my name went to the pile of parcels and handed my goods,
They have had problems, they are there, they are sending parcels out, just behind. Please be More patient than me, they are genuine people with great quality products..

Seriously stay away from this company. Waited months for some equipment and eventually went down to their shop in Swindon to collect it. Some the equipment has fallen apart, sensors go off for no reason and some of it looks second hand. Brings a bad name to the Paranormal scene and enthusiasts.
Don't part with your money as you would be waiting months with no chance of a refund
You would be better off going to Toys R us.

I brought some more products from here. I understand they are busy and prib struggling. They kept me up to date and I received all items. I'm happy with them. With covid things are harder to do . Give some leeway and understand :)

Avoid this company! I made an order on the 4 th of december, 2 months later: still nothing arrived. I emailed them and called them many times, they NEVER apologised, they ask me to wait without offering me any date of delivery, because of the covid, because someone was sick, because the courier cannot work, because the boss was too busy blablabla... I then asked for a refund and they refused to make any!!! I had to raise a complain to the authorities and to my bank

I paid for a K2 and a Rem Pod and had been waiting a good month, i was told they had sent them to me to start with but couldn't prove it when i asked for proof, they told me they would get them sent out in a couple of day's, i waited another 2 months and when i asked for a refund was told they were being sent out this Monday and ignored the fact i had asked for my money back, I'm now being told my refund has to be passed by the director of the company and that it could take up to 14 days to have that processed and they've also gone and blocked me on Facebook messenger for trying to get my money back. AVOID!! This company does nothing but mess you about and hope you forget about what you've ordered !

I ordered a Rem Bear 4th January & paid for next day delivery. After 4 days it still hadn't arrived so I called them. They said they're in the process of making it, as all orders are made to order. I argued that if this was the case they shouldn't advertise next day delivery. She said she'd sort out a refund of the delivery (which I never received). After waiting yet another week and having no bear, I called my bank and applied for a charge back, which they gave me.
Then just yesterday I received an email from the company claiming the Rem Bear was out of stock and I'd have to wait for more to come in...no mention of a refund!!! This company are awful.
If anyone is struggling with getting their item or a refund I would suggest calling your bank for a charge back, and the bank will then deal with these people directly. They should be closed down!

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews on trustpilot before paying for an SLS camera. I was promised a 4 week delivery date back in September but after 8weeks of being lied to and false promises I asked for a refund on my money and was refused. Luckily I had paid by credit card and the bank took over and I got my money back. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and if you have been taken in like I was, I urge you to take the matter up with your credit card company/ paypal or even weights and measures etc. After everyone that this con man has took advantage of then it is high time he was put out of business!!

John Tanner is a con man. Stay clear of this company. Constantly fobbed off about the para ovilus I ordered. Then told it hasn't even been build and no idea of when they planned to build it. Luckily I paid with Klarna so managed to get my money back. STAY CLEAR.

Do not fall for them, do not use them. Thankfully I paid via credit card and got a refund via section 75 as was refused a refund. John Tanner is a con man please avoid.

If I could give this company a zero star review I would. Despite making my purchase back in September I have still not received the goods. As a business owner I was sympathetic towards the additional wait times but after my initial contact with the admin team on 15th Oct 21 I’m still no further forward. I asked if the item I had ordered could be switched for one that did not have a build time and it was agreed as long as I made an additional £20 payment (heaven forbid they might do something nice for the inconvenience!) I agreed none the less and was assured that once payment was made I would receive the alternate item, 5 days later I have still not heard so I sent yet another email and received a response from someone that had no idea that and agreement had been reached. As a result I requested that my order be cancelled and a full and immediate refund be made. Since this day I have sent several message asking for it to be confirmed that the refund for goods I have NOT received be processed. Today I resorted to contacting them on social media, firstly I was told about an alleged meeting then I was told a link had apparently been sent. I explained again that I felt like I had been messed about and that I just wanted my money returned as per my customers previous correspondence. I told them I was disappointed and that I always ensure regular updates are available for my customers and notify of any delays like a respectable business should. A while later I received a lovely message from the alleged director stating that my refund request has been denied. This company are a bunch of criminals and deserve to be treated as such I WILL be taking further action to ensure this does NOT happen to anyone else.

I had bought an SLS Kinetic Camera and an Ovalis from paranormal electronics.co.uk. After waiting many months and making numerous telephone calls where I was told absolute rubbish I still did not receive my goods. I asked for a refund where I was informed that the directors meet up and would discuss, needless to say I never received a refund. I eventually contacted my bank and I was refunded the full cost through my bank.
If I had any advice to give, it would be to stay well away from this company!!!!

Absolutely disgusting service and very poor quality tablets that do not work at all, the owner john ignores you many times, tells lies and delivers poor product thats not even tested. Ask for a refund and get ignored im taking this to court its a joke, avoid at all costs

Ordered goods in early August still not recieved, tried to contact company numerous times and same generic email constantly, asked for a refund and was told no as could only be voucher,not good enough

This is my second review of this company. Pre ordered spirit box in December for January dispatch. Received email in June offering vouchers as they were having issues sourcing the stock. We are in a pandemic so understand stock issues so I requested refund as I do not wish to purchase anything else from this company. Refund has been requested 4 times as they have been unable to fulfill their obligation but each email has been ignored. Request raised with bank and report will be made to trading standards.

I am expecting an email from trustpilot to verify my purchase as these con merchants will try to get review removed and feign ignorance that they have no record of my orders as this seem to be a common tactic when a poor review is left for them. I have purchase invoices and happy to provide proof of purchase and evidence of all attempts made to try and get a refund

one star is too good for this appalling company. ordered a SLS V2 as per description and after long delays with many excuses same as in other reviews posted the camera finally arrived. it was infact a V1, which came with connection missing and a rattle in the casing, I returned camera and it was returned to me with the missing connector but this time had a smashed tablet. So tablet was returned and I received replacement tab up until this time the camera could be used or tested. I was so eager to use my toy I unpacked camera and removed diabolic advertising stickers that was plastered all over it. I then switched on and the infared didn't work. I called John who blatantly refused to give his name was so rude and arrogant to say least and was unhelpful and refused to give refund with a few harsh words was said. There was other issues that went to and fro but too long to go into. I sent the company a video proving the infra red was useless and not working. Out of frustration due to not receiving a response I returned the camera with note requesting full refund for faulty goods, only for John to return back to me days later camera still broken. And said if i returned again he would not accept package the courier would leave it in their depot and it would be my responsibility, I checked this fact with several couriers and this is an untrue statement. So therefore returned again and hey ho he returned it back, I refused to accept package and it was returned to company. I chased up for a refund and was accused of breaking it. His pathetic excuse was as I removed the advertising stickers which actually revealed underneath the shoddy workmanship. He claimed I had invalidated the warranty. The stickers did not indication this. This is how the company tried to get away with not paying. I reported this to my credit company to obtain a full refund, which investigation and was found i favor. This company has got to be the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to come across, and their trading tactics should be stopped to prevent other peolple being scammed. BUY AT YOUR PERIL

WARNING THIS COMPANY WILL SCAM YOU AND STEAL YOUR MONEY!
I purchased an SLS camera with 8” screen from this company on January 30th 2021, at a cost of £159.98. After 4 months nothing had arrived. I contacted them to be told that they were awaiting stock, tablets to be precise and my order no 1177 was to be sent very soon. I asked for a refund and this was ignored. I thought it easier for the company to refund me if there were stock issues, I was informed that “The Directors met once a week”, it was their decision. Nothing still over the next few months and I contacted then numerous times to be told, awaiting stock/tablets etc. I was constantly told it was in the next order.!! I contacted John Tanner; he wasn’t interested just more excuses. I told him that I did not believe this camera existed! He informed me that a refund was not possible as the camera had been built, it just needed the tablet. A week later Friday 13thof August (was indeed bad luck for me) 6.5 months later, a battered cardboard box arrived and what I received did not match the product advertised, did not even resemble the camera that I had ordered and was very clearly poor quality, with parts missing and damaged. I contacted the “Tanners” to complain and was dumbfounded when they said, “We have never known of anyone unhappy before with an upgrade”! An upgrade??? I was laughing at this point as what I had in front of me not only didn’t resemble the V1 SLS that I had ordered, but it also didn’t resemble the “upgraded” V2 either, worth I was told £234.00, instead of £159.98. They were being thoughtful apparently and sent me a better model with a 10” screen instead of an 8” screen. Well, it was so badly assembled, handle missing, stand missing, tablet would not stay in clamp, front sticker cut badly around lights, and basically unusable. I didn’t even switch it on, just re boxed it up again. I was insulted with the pile of junk I received for £159.98, but told that if I returned it, which I did at an extra cost of £9.99, that I would be refunded within 48hrs of them receiving the product back. The company received the return on August 18th, and 3 weeks later I had not received a refund. I contacted the company again to be told that, “they had pressed the refund button on “Stripe”, and it was up to “Stripe” to decide if I met the refund criteria, and there was nothing more they could do their end. I was then advised by them to claim through my bank. I realised at this point that I had been “Scammed”! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! THEY THINK YOU ARE STUPID SO DON’T BE, AND ORDER FROM A REPUTABLE COMPANY!
