I bought a Parker Knolls manual recliner armchair from an Irish business and it was delivered approximately 4 weeks ago. Immediately I noticed that there were problems with the reclining mechanism. I decided to give it a week or so to right itself. When it didn't, I contacted Customer Service at the business I purchased it at and informed them of the problems. I received a phone call from the Manager of the business on Monday, August 25 to say that she had emailed Parker Knolls and as well as providing a photograph of the chair, outlined to them the problems I was having. I am writing this review on Tuesday evening, September 2nd and still, six and a half working days later, I have not been contacted by Parker Knolls. This is unacceptable customer service. How long does it take to make a phone call or send an email to at least acknowledge the problems I am having. The main reason I went for Parker Knolls in the first place was because of the reputation they were supposed to have.

Your initial complaint was received via your retailer, and as our agreement and line of communication are with them, we work through them rather than contacting customers directly. After receiving your complaint, we did request some further information to ensure we could assist appropriately. Once we received the required details, we moved forward with arranging a technician to call.
We’re pleased to confirm that as of yesterday, a technician has been appointed, and the technician will be in touch with you directly in the coming days to confirm a visit and resolve the issue.

Excellent quality & service.
We bought new two sofas via a local stockist. We also ordered samples via the website so that we could get a feel for how the fabrics would look in our home and take time to think about our choice. The lead time was 10 weeks but they were ready in 5 weeks, which was a pleasant surprise! We are very pleased with both the look and feel of them. We chose two contrasting fabrics (the sample books put 3 together to help you do this). They are very comfortable & stylish. The contrasting fabrics work well together, we swapped the scatter cushions over to coordinate them.
