I have credited 20 pound accouny and…

I have credited 20 pound accouny and still i have not been able to use the ev charge point where i work

I also applied for a RDIF card which cost me 10 pound and i havent received that neither ...£30 for nothing

Apologies for the delay in the RFID card reaching you.

I have just checked our logs and can see a card was dispatched to you on the 17th, the day the order was placed. We would normally have expected the card to have arrived by now so there is a chance it may have been lost in the post. If the card is not received by the end of the week, please contact the support team on support@parknrecharge.net and we will dispatch a replacement.

RFID cards are not mandatory for using the chargers at your work place so you are still able to use your credit to start and end charging sessions from the app in the meantime.

Alternatively we can also issue a refund for the credit and card if preferred.

If you need support with using the app to start, issuing a replacement card or anything else, please do not hesitate to contact our support team over the phone or via email for help. Your workplace has a dedicated phone line which we do not post online but the number can be found in the contact us section of the app as well as on the chargers themselves.

*Update: Hi Mark, just wanted to follow up - I can see you received and used your RFID card last week Apologies again for the delay in this reaching you. If you have any other issues please contact the support team directly on support@parknrecharge.net.

Used one of these chargers near Southend Victoria recently, couldn’t believe how cheap it was! Super convenient, will use again :)

Plugged in only to receive nil power…

Plugged in only to receive nil power and for my lead to jam in. Two telephone calls to the number were responded to by apologies but all she could do was forward an email marked VERY URGENT and request them to call me. That didn't happen.

Then my lead could be released, so I put into the next socket as the App said the original was In Use! Praises followed as it started charging so I credited the App, and went to bed in the confidence the car would be fully charged in the morning.

Need I say what greeted me in the rising sun? A red light and nil charge. No explanation, only more apologies on email and refund.

As other users will know this causes great inconvenience for the day.

I for one won't be using these guys again and you are warned.

REJOINDER TO REPLY
Firstly I drove a Tesla Model S for 8 years and have had this latest EV for 6 months so have some experience of this driving, This was the first time ever I have been unable to remove a lead from the charger, so no lectures please!

Secondly this reply has omitted the fact that I repeatedly telephoned the helpline, and although the lady did her best she did not know any of these things now said. As said all she could do was send an email and assured me someone would call urgently. No-one did. If that's anything like a helpline then I'm a banana.

And finally and speaking of which, I said to the lady that as the lead was stuck I had no option to forcibly remove it which would doubtless damage the charger but what else could I do? She concurred.

So as the final sentence contains a veiled threat I trust the local authority will be forwarded this reply as well along with all other data. I'm sure it will consider all options when the next contract is up for grabs.

Hi Peter,

Apologies for the issues you experienced with this charger. We appreciate that owning your first EV and navigating the public charging space can be difficult to navigate at first.

For an explanation of the issues you experienced last night;
• The cable had been locked in by the charger in preparation to start but did not receive a start request from the app. The locking pin then went into a fault state as it had been put under strain - likely from attempts to pull it out of the charger before a start request or detecting the cable had been unplugged from the car. For future reference if your cable is stuck in any public charger, the best thing to do is unplug the cable from your vehicle first. Within 20 seconds or so of unplugging from your car, the charger will also let go. If you're still having issue with the cable being stuck, it's worth pushing the cable in to the charger, rather than trying to pull it out. This relieves the pressure on the locking pin and allows it to disengage and release the cable.

• Once you had disconnected from the first socket, you switched to the other available socket and successfully started a charging session. Roughly 6 minutes later 2 requests were sent from your app login to end the charging session which I suspect were sent in error but were accepted by the charger which release your cable. You can actively check live and historic charging events in most CPO apps (including the Park & Recharge app), to guarantee that your session is still ongoing. Alternatively, most vehicles come with a linked app that can be configured to notify you if a charging session is interrupted.

In terms of the damage to the locking pin, the council’s maintenance provider have been informed and are sending an engineer to check if any permeant damage has been caused to the socket. They have also been forwarded this review and the message left with our support team threating to damage council property for reference, in case the council choose to pursue the matter further.

It was easy to charge my car using the Instructions from the charging point!

It was easy to charge my car using the card with credits on and my connection from the beat of my car. The telephone number on the charging point was useful to as a standby and I think the company is doing well and my range anxiety is not as bad as it was.

The RFID card arrived thank you but…

The RFID card arrived thank you but when I tried using it at the Alresford Village Hall charging station when I had connected my car, tapped the card I just got the charging indicator light turning momentarily red but no charge to my car. I am contacting your company separately about this as I don’t know if it’s my car or your charging station.

Our sister company Hubeleon manufactured the charger for the Rural Energy Resilience project in partnership with Charge My Street/Fuuse who will be operating the chargers. Park & Recharge are not the Charge Point Operator for the project but had provided the card as an interim solution until the charger is available through the Charge My Street/Fuuse App.

New charging fob

Received great assistance from parkncharge.
A bit disappointed that had to pay for the fob to charge an electric vehicle provided by the company to charge at company based chargers

Apologies for the disappointment in regards to paying for the fob. Most companies that we support provide RFID fobs free of charge to their fleet drivers, but as they are an optional extra for Pay-As-You-Go users, the cost is often not subsidised.

The app was unclear as to how the RFD card operated, I was looking for a payment facility to be stored within the app. It took me a little searching to establish that it needed to be pre-paid, However the process of ordering and speed of delivery of the card was great
