It is ridiculous to be sending me this at all. I have been begging for a human being from Paro to contact me.

In July of 2022, our company found itself suddenly without a CFO. We reached out to Paro and within 48 hours Paro had found the perfect CFO for us along with a full accounting staff. We are grateful for Paro and have enjoyed years of experience with them.

From the very start we have been impressed by Paro. Amanda did An incredible job listening to our needs and finding us two candidates who delivered during our interview process. Ultimately, we decided to move forward with Whitney and she absolutely has knocked it out of the park! Aileen has also done an incredible job with ensuring that our partnership thrives. Whitney has been hired to do full charge bookkeeping and has impressed us by her level of communication, her knowledge, her loyalty and commitment to her clients, and her willingness to jump in and help! I highly recommend Paro for any of your needs.

They were very helpful in finding a person, but they send way too many emails and follow up emails...survey requests. It's really annoying.

I chose to work with Paro because I hoped to find a platform that would make it easier, more comfortable, and more effective for filing taxes. I wanted to be able to ask questions and get answers. It was my goal to avoid filing an extension. While the onboarding process was clear and easy, the execution of the work was incredibly difficult:

- I rarely (if ever) heard from my account manager
- my questions weren't answered
- decisions were made without my consent
- we filed an extension for reasons I later found out weren't true

While my taxes did ultimately get filed, this process was a bit of a nightmare.

I need to understand why this company is still in business. They do not do any of the work as promised and then get you on small technicalities. I will be contacting Chicago for the BBB that they are associated with.

This is the worse company and have unmatured people providing any services.
They deleted more than 2000 payments from my system and now I am stuck with no support.
Stay away from the fraud.

I've been working with a controller via Paro since Summer 2023. I paid a $3500 "clean up" charge to get my books in order and pay monthly for basic bookkeeping. My bookkeeper changed January 1st and barely logged into Quickbooks & provided no updated financial reports for all of Q1. Once we finally connected to try to correct the lapse in work, she told me it was her predecessor who did the bookkeeping wrong and therefore there was many miscategorizations back through 2023. Paro has NOT been responsive since my first formal complaint mid-March. There has been no real insight into what happened and now I'm just fighting to end my account and get a refund. Zero stars, if it were possible, mostly because for a highly funded company, their customer service blows.

Terrible service, very similar to the other 2024 experinces. It seems the fact that my books are not ready for 2023 taxes and the 1099 filings were not ready on time is not enough proof to file a complaint. Now I need to pay for an audit to show that the bookeeping was neglected for months. Their Customer Success Managers will make sure to wing it as long as they can to charge you as much as possible. And there is more, to cancel you need to give 60 days notice, that's paying 2 months more for work not done. I wonder if there is a lawyer reading this that can help me.

Was sold to, never had one call and no work was done for almost 2 months into engagement (despite me reaching out begging to start).

Canceled and was still billed. Be very careful with this company.

I had my contact schedule 3 calls with me to ask me the exact same questions each time which was annoying. And then when the final contract was sent to me the hourly rate was twice as much as I had been told previously because they made a mistake. The bookkeeper I was paired with is great, however.

My books are more confusing than when we started. Past years that were reconciled and filed were adjusted so my tax returns dont add up. Has cost me 5x what originally anticipated.
