Absolute joke , it’s like carry on abroad where the same chap does everything, when you call you get the impression it’s a big company when I suspect it’s probably 2 people in a shed taking orders for items they don’t have and can’t get, they take your money as soon as you place the order and until you start chasing them that’s the end of it, got half my order eventually have given up on the rest, don’t waste your time emailing as they won’t reply, they do answer the phone it’s always the same woman who is just programmed to tell any lies that make you go away . Be warned

They have a weird way of trading, unlike any other company on the internet. Rather than tell you shipping costs, their order process says you will be contacted with a shipping quote once you place the order. I ordered parts worth £11 and did not receive any such contact. Instead they charged my credit card £20. The items were small and light and would have cost only £3 to send by Royal Mail. It's appropriate that they deal with Mustangs as they are complete cowboys!

Very ban company. Placed order for £900 two month later no parts or communication. Not recomended at all.

Shocking company to deal with. Was miscommunicated several times on when I would receive parts. This had gone over several months and in the end had to give up and cancel order. Will not be using them again……..

I wish i.would say they're zero.

I wrote a one star review of this company in August 2020, trust pilot sent me an email today asking for details of my review. 3 years and 9 months later...are you actually serious? Speak again in another 3 and a bit years

Parts that I ordered did not arrive so I cancelled my order, I've been emailing and trying to call , to no effect...then I looked at the reviews !

Ordered parts 7th June for mustang carburettor rebuild kit. Wrong items sent did not open box sent straight back.
After 12 phone calls and e mails. False promises that the refund had been paid back When it clearly had not
Threatened to notify bank to get the refund today 26th of July finally got the refund.
Worst company I can ever recall dealing with.
I will not ever be using them again under any circumstances
They just fob you off till the matter gets serious Blaming everybody else.

Use this company at your peril and cost

Ordered my parts on the June 6.
After many promises a month later and still nothing .
Do not recommend.

Please look at the reviews and avoid being scammed.
I have placed an order and was informed 2 weeks for delivery, after 2 months I was still waiting for my order to arrive. When I asked to cancel the order I have been told that 25% charges would apply for restock. Furthermore more they never issued me a refund. Excuses on top of excuses to keep the money. I'll now be taking with the credit card company to try to have my money back as I never received the part. Essex Mustangs is not a reliable company. BE AWARE!

Please take on board all the negative reviews before giving this company your money!
I placed an order and was informed 2-3week delivery.
Half of the items arrived after 9 weeks (not in the best condition) the other half didn’t arrive at all. It is now the 19th week and I’ve finally received a refund for the items that didn’t arrive.
After endless emails, calls and advice from the consumer ombudsman this ordeal is thankfully over.
Essex Mustangs ruined my restoration project this year, I will never use them again!
I purchased the items that didn’t arrive online from CJ pony in America (arrived within 4 days) and Mustang Maniacs in UK (arrived next day) Wish I did this 19 weeks ago!

Absolutely horrible service. I ordered parts for my 1965 Ford Mustang which I understood were back ordered so that was fine bit after the parts arrived they informed me they were shipped yet they weren't I found out 2 weeks later. Then what should have been a 4-5 days delivery from UK - Cyprus is now taking over 3 weeks. Maybe they send their parts by Donkey but the 'courier' shipping service they use is a disaster. The restoration of the car is now pushed back 4 weeks based on what they told us - that parts were shipped. They even sent us a tracking number which of course could not be found in the system because parts were never collected until weeks later. Will never use this company again

Ordered parts was told delivery 3 weeks ordered other parts next day was told 2 weeks 27 weeks later and still waiting

Ordered parts in mid May and payment taken.
No parts and no refund after 10 weeks.
If you can eventually get through on the phone you get lied to.

I was delighted to have found the Essex Mustang where Centre I can order spare parts for my car. I was also most impressed with Jen...the sales advisor...as her calm and professional attitude gave me confidence
when ordering parts to be sent to me in Spain.
I will definitely order again from this company...thank you.

So I have not purchased any parts but I have just recently had a whole load of works done to my 1969 Mustang by Essex Mustang. I imported from the US last year around October. Turns out the front and rear frame rails were shot (both sides), rear trunk drop offs we made from road signs and bondo just issue after issue and I must point out this was all identified by the shipping company that imported the car for me. Essex Mustang are only a small company but they have been great. They went above and beyond for me with taking on small repairs they found without charging and fitting me a new sump and trans pan that I had already purchased again FOC. I did read the reviews after they had had my car for a few weeks and I hadn't heard anything but after I spoke with Jen and Keith and discussed my desire to be kept informed they did and that is all I need from a service, regular updates, pictures for my files for future ref and a friendly voice when I ring in. The quality of the work is great Keith is a really friendly guy and does know Mustangs. I feel for those with bad stories but these all seem to pertain to parts. The workshop works is my only interaction but I absolutely would recommend for this and I hope others who have been stung by car flippers in the US can use Essex Mustang to help restore their dream car after it started to turn into a nightmare. I could not take my kids out in the car until I had these works done and honestly thanks to all the team their for the work they did.

Stole 6.5k GBP from me. Asked for deposit on a car and never provided the car, took the money and have run away. Complete fraudulant compnay, any positive reviews are from employees faking it. Don't give them your money, learn from my mistakes. Can't even sure them they are worthless on companies house.

Avoid at all costs I would not give 1 star constantly told 10 days delay even though a month had passed
