no reply on email
nothing after purchase on visa.
had to call Visa and let them know it was fraudulent

Was Worried, now satisfied.

I have to admit that reading a lot of these Reviews AFTER I placed a decent order with partsengine.ca I was a bit worried. But, I must admit they were awesome. Sent me emails at EVERY order status change ( received, billed, picked ect ) and I had my order within 5 days and it was carefully packed.
I will use them again.
Hope this helps someone.

I purchased one of your products

I purchased one of your products, and after waiting for over a month, I still haven’t received it. During this time, I was charged an additional shipping fee twice, each time around $150. You originally promised to ship the product within a few days. Because of your company, I had to cancel my plans. You simply canceled the order without any regard for the inconvenience you’ve caused me. This is a terrible company, and I strongly urge everyone not to do business with them. Avoid at all costs!”

Absolutely the worst company I've ever…

Absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with.
They do not stock any products and lie about it.
Ordered an item that showed in stock...well it was not. I was told it had expedited shipping and would arrive on 10 to 15 days.
Well here we are on day 70 and I still don't have it.
They will not cancel the.order unless I pay a 20 restocking fee for an item that hasn't been delivered.
Customer service lies and doesn't respond either.
Recommend you stay clear of this place.

Cancel the Order and they made it difficult to get a refund

Ordered items thru Affirm and they emailed us that those items were not available. They suggested alternatives but they are out of our budget and so we had to cancel. Was told that will be refunded 10 business days from the email date. They never processed the refund until payment was taken from my account from and order that I dont have. Sent an email and tickets and they never even responded, NOT A SINGLE REPLY. Spoke to customer services and even them dont have a clue.

Tried to overcharge $350 and refused to refund

Took several days to process my order before telling me its discontinued and not restocking. Told me they could swap them for the same set of wheels, exactly the same but with +10mm more offset, then tried to bill me $350 extra. Cancelled order and never issued refund. Repeatedly emailed and called for 15 days until a refund was finally processed. The original wheels are still showing available to be ordered!

I was worried after I read reviews on here that said people didn't get their orders etc. However, my part arrived quickly and was exactly what I ordered. Fantastic.

Scam artists

Scam artists, this site is run by the same scammers running huntsparts.ca. How do they even hold merchant accounts doing this? Chargeback rate must be ridiculously high? Same scammers running two fake auto parts websites?

WARNING. Do not use this site

One star because I had no choice. My purchase never came. 10 weeks went by. They email you right away and tell you its on its way. I asked how do I go about canceling my order if possible. They sent me an email saying order canceled you will receive your refund within 10 days. Its been 3 weeks, and they do not reply to the emails regarding refunds. What a bunch of scammers. Im out $355.

Worse company ever

Worse company ever. I paid for a trailer part that was in stock per their website. They said my order was processed and ready to ship. didn't receive a tracking number. I followed up and they said it had to come from a 3rd party warehouse and that it would take 3 weeks to arrive before they could ship it. Now going on a month and no word. Followed up numerous times and no response. Essentially stolen my money. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WESITE!!!

I ordered a Holley carb they had on sale March 19 2024 a month later they told me they can’t supply they still have my 1155.00 as of May 3 2024 and after wasting my time with phone calls and emails still no refund !

Terrible company

Terrible company. Purchased an item wasn't shipped 2 weeks later. Phoned and they said it was a 6 week special order. Cancelled order and now have been waiting 17 days for refund. Stay away!!

Stay Away/Buyer Beware

Pretty much the same experience as everyone else here has had with them. Ordered tires. 9 days after i ordered, they emailed telling me the tires i ordered are "sold out and discontinued". I have been waiting several weeks so far with no refund, and if other reviews here are any indication, it sounds like i could be waiting months.

Orders might be quick...or might take awhile

One thing to know with PartsEngine.ca is they practice drop shipping. They can afford to offer such low prices because they don't actually have their own warehouse- they are essentially a 3rd party company that contracts out to various warehouses. You purchase the item/s, then they find the warehouse that has it in stock and can ship it to you at the cheapest cost to them. I have ordered several times now from PartsEngine. Twice I've ordered and received my products within a week; the third time I purchased rims but got an email the next day advising the item was out of stock and that I'd be refunded (I was in full within a week). This last time, I placed a large order for 5 rims and tires. I got the rims and 1 tire within a week, but the 4 remaining tires took way longer. Fedex generated a tracking number that wasn't picked up for 2 weeks, so I contacted customer service and was told the warehouse did not have the tires yet but would within a few days. I told them to refund my money if I could not get these tires in an acceptable time frame. Next thing I knew, the 4 tires shipped the next day and arrived across the country very quickly without issue. The only thing I was not impressed with is the fact that the warehouse was allowed to generate Fedex tracking numbers without actually having the items in stock....but other than that, I'd say my experience has mostly been positive. You are taking a risk with PartsEngine that your item will be delayed, or out of stock and you'll be waiting a week or so for your refund. I suppose that's the price you pay for a huge selection of items at great prices. For anyone frantically looking at reviews after placing an order, this site is not a scam, and most of the time orders seem to be received without any issue or delay...but there are definitely some improvements to be made when ordering items that end up out of stock/difficult to get.
