The experience and knowledge of the…
The experience and knowledge of the professionals helped greatly.Obviously it does not stop physical pain but it does give you the strategies, stretches, meditation and other sound advice to help try to improve things even if only a little.

I found a lot of the information about pain and the exercises very useful.
Very interesting course and informative, really well put together.
Thank you 😊
Wouldn't recommend unless new to chronic pain
Although the elements of the course would work, it is so generalised that it is impossible to make it useful for everyone. If you are new to back pain (as they seem only to address back pain rather than other msk issues) then this would probably be a great course for you. If you've ever googled dealing with pain and taken advice from physios and mental health support on dealing with pain then this will be stating the obvious of what you've probably already been utilising for years to cope. It doesn't hurt to have a refresh/reminder to make sure you're doing everything you should be, but overall it was a lot of time to sacrifice to a course I was promised would be helpful but wasn't. I appreciate this is on the person who referred me to the course ignoring coping strategies I was already doing rather than the course itself, hence 3 stars rather than the 1 I would give if it was based on solely on how good it was for me personally.
It was very helpfull and imformative
Very helpful
Very helpful
It allows you to login and follow the steps at your own pace and some of the tips are very helpful especially the relaxation techniques
It was ok,but it’s not in person
I felt just as you get into it
I felt just as you get into it, your progression is stopped as you have done enough for one day, also I know its a on line course but no telephone appointment even half way through to get any feed back, I couldn't commit to the face to face sessions because of work, but I honestly feel doing this on line has not benefitted me at all. Quite repetitive in places, all in all not for me, if this has helped you then great im happy for you, just my opinion.

Very interesting and worthwhile course
Knowledge, support & learning to help yourself is Key in this programme
I found the course so helpful to understand my pain & the techniques, meditation & talks given to make me feel supported & learn how to try & manage constant pain & major flare ups.
It's really important to know you can get the care & understanding & explanations from the professionals to help you. The library is great as all the information & technique methods are stored there after the course to use aswell.
I needed to call in once for some advice & help of something I didn't understand & the call handler went above & beyond to give me the answers & tell me & emailed me so I knew what It was I had to do.
My overall experience of the course has been a valuable asset to my life of living with pain & also dealing with the mental health effects persistent pain can have on you.
Thank you to all the team you've been amazing in building this online course because for me it made such a difference as I couldn't do the face to face sessions.
Doesn’t address all causes of pain.
Meditation is helpful but this course doesn’t seem to be aimed at pain as a result of physiological issues, I.e. pain as a result of a condition and the surgery to try and address that condition.
In worth participating
Some help information which I refer back to. I'm not really technical wise with apps and struggled with some of the videos i.e. trying to enlarge the screen but instead closed the video and couldn't restart it. Totally my fault. Following the advice but can't see myself not having to turn to some pain relief as well.

I found the sleep medidation really helpful and the body scans. I didn't find the steps on medication or relaxing to stop the pain very helpful. I find my medication does help me and i have regular reviews with my doctor about my medication. I didn't find the majority of the course that helpful in managing my pain and was disappointed by this fact.

I personally found it very hard to concentrate on the course probably due to my medication. The exercises hurt me to do them.

Delaing positively with pain
A very useful course in bite-size chunks. A good balance between anatomical theory and practical activities. Made me think about alternative approaches to managing pain and how I can control the pain rather than it controlling me
Found it really helpful although I…
Found it really helpful although I might not have logged in in a regular fashion the things I learned I have practiced. I feel better about the future now.
Learning never stops
I didn’t know what to expect from on line pain management. I’ve certainly come away from this with some great relaxation techniques, more tolerance and patience with myself and understanding that talking to friends and family about what I’m going through and feeling- doesn’t mean I’m whining.
I tried to be open minded about all of this - but did feel that a couple of the experts came over in a condescending fashion- maybe they could review the videos they’ve made and either add a touch of humour or rephrase sections?
I got frustrated with myself and my limitations with relation to the exercises and perhaps feel that talking to a physio first hand might improve my progress.
Overall I do feel that I’ve benefited from this - so thank you

Just thought it was at the right level and covered all aspects of pain.
My experience i
I found a lot of it very interesting but some of the exercises went against what I was being taught at Tai Chi. As I was recommended to do Tai Chi I didn’t do the extra strong exercises although the relaxing videos were very good.
