I was a little sceptical but was proved wrong. Learnt some new techniques
A lot of it I already know
A lot of it I already know, I was in the armed forces and I know how to actually walk, swim and "go and do some ironing" hahaha.
Anyway I need more pain medication not videos on how to listen to some music and look at the stars. I would actually like to speak to someone at the painteam ' two year waiting list' I've been told, we'll I probably won't be walking by then and in a wheelchair, at least I'll have more time to watch stupid videos. 🙄😊
HELPFUL
Consolidating the different ways of managing long term chronic pain was extremely helpful and useful

Their words feel like they describe your situation exactly; you feel like they've lived through it personally and understand it, but it doesn't cure you 100%. It only greatly helps you learn how to deal with the situation, overcome it, and live your daily life.
Excellent Programme
Very informative
Lots of great ideas & tools for managing living with pain.

This is a great course for handling and understanding pain. It provides many videos and much information that you get to keep. They are patient with your progress.
Yes, I would recommend to anyone with issues
It was good to see that most of what was talked about I could relate to, so I know I’m not the only one. However most of the physical aspects I already was aware of so I didn’t really benefit from them. Other parts were great though like the meditation videos to help relax.
Around we go again. FEELS LIKE NO ONE CARES.
I’ve been on pain management clinic intermittently due to clinics being closed twice and administrative blunders. There has been no urgency to my necessary re-referrals and I’ve been through the Pathway through Pain programme or it’s predecessor a number of times. It’s pretty depressing to suffer an injury in 2018 and being medicated since with my circumstances getting worse and access to services also getting worse. I was discharged from my last pain clinic because they no longer met criteria to be a pain clinic. At the time of choosing they were the only green = good, coded clinic.
When my first appointment arrived they explained they didn’t manage medication (no prior information regarding this).
The information provided in the PTP is a repetition and didn’t assist pain management for me. It was very discouraging.

Hello
Hello.
I enjoyed the program and learned few things. I wish there was a book that I could order so I could go back to it and read.
Thanks
A useful course
I really enjoyed the course and looked forward to the next session each time. I found the relaxation sessions very useful and I will carry on doing those. All the speakers explained their topic clearly and were easy to follow. The course was very well put together. Thank you.

I found this to be very good and helpful the conversations the relaxation & exercise videos were very helpful although I am still in pain a with OA i am continuing logging in to access the videos as will do anything I can do to try to ease the pain , because of serious health issues and the medication I have to take painkillers are very restricted and no anti inflammatory medication at all . I did feel they explained a lot about my pain and management and how to cope and ease it a little bit, unfortunately my GP has written me off at 75 I always been active and now I struggle daily and have now been told there’s no more they can do and I shall be in pain for the rest of my life which is very depressing.
Very well worth persevering to the end.
I am very pleased that the relaxation and meditation sections are still available to action. I felt that they were too quickly incorporated. They are something that I haven’t tried before this programme and I now want to keep up.
The exercises are very well actioned.

I found this very helpful for chronic pain and easy to follow guidance videos. I have put alot to practice..I do have to work on the meditation side of things but im sure with practice I will get there.
Not sure this was the correct pathway…
Not sure this was the correct pathway for me considering all the chronic issues I have and experienced for so long after nerve ablation, spinal blocks, physio, ice therapy, and yet my MRI and X-rays recently revealed the deterioration of arthrosis, cervical spondylitis, spina bifida occulta, left hip dysplasia, right knee replacement after 20 years causing issues aswell as arthrofibrosis
Lag in left lower leg from lateral cruciate ligament

It would be nice if I could have glass of wine to relax but on pain medication it’s no no.and going in the garden or beach to sun bath is not good for skin and having a fag is definitely not good you I think these should taken out
