I got advice regarding motoring offences over the phone, hopefully good advice. Rachel & Danny know their stuff, very good. If I had decided to take it to court, they would've been batting for me.

I received notification of prosecution for driving at 37mph in a 30mph zone. As I have 10 points a potential further 3 points would result in a driving ban.
I contacted Patterson Law for advice and was given clear guidance on the issues affecting my predicament and Karen was extremely helpful in advising on how I should proceed.

I spoke to 4 different law firms today to get legal advice as regards a particular issue, Patterson Law being the last. Although the concluding feedbacks were the same , Rachel Saunders from Patterson Law was the only one who very clearly and convincingly explained the options and reasons behind same to me (she even followed up the phone conversation with a brilliant explanatory email which I can refer to). If she was the first person i spoke to, there wouldn’t have been a need to speak to the other law firms. I ended the phone call to her very clear headed and happy . I was caught using my phone while driving and, with 9 points already on my licence, I was facing the very real possibility of losing it entirely. From the very first contact, the customer service was outstanding. I was assigned to Kezzia, who handled my case brilliantly. She was attentive, understanding, and incredibly thorough — she didn’t miss a single piece of information needed from me.
Kezzia was always at the end of the phone whenever I needed to speak to her and kept me regularly updated on my case and the upcoming court hearing, right up until the day I went to court. Thanks to her hard work and dedication, I managed to keep my licence. Without her help, I wouldn’t be driving today.

Late on a Friday afternoon I made a simple enquiry about an NIP being potentially out of time, and first thing on Monday morning I received a most comprehensive and enlightening reply from Ellen, one of the senior legal eagles at Pattersons. Frankly it was quicker than I anticipated and much more informative than I could have asked for. First class professionalism. I will use them again and recommend them to everyone in my social circle.

I strongly believe I was misled as to the level of expertise I would receive for a 92% success rate and that the service provided fell below the standard I was reasonably entitled to expect.

Had I been made aware of the solicitor’s lack of experience, I would not have proceeded with this firm and paid £1,400 for an unexperienced solicitor. Honestly, I would've had a better outcome doing it alone as this is what I ended up doing, but with little preparation as before the case, I fully trusted the solicitor had all the information from me (which they did have) to argue my case for me, but I had to argue it myself.

Before the case for the case handler and person who answered my call they were great and 2 weeks ago I gave a 5 star review (I do not give bad reviews at all usually but it is important you know the solicitor you get on the day may be unexperienced and you would be better doing it yourself and preparing more or going with another firm who don't have inexperienced and poor solicitors amongst the good ones.

I managed to place myself in a tricky situation and having phoned around a few solicitors who provided a mediocre response, I was lucky enough to speak with Rachel who gave me very clear advice during a free telephone consultation on the best course of action. She further emailed a summary of our conversation along with expected outcomes of different scenarios. This assisted me in deciding how to best deal with the situation and for that I am truly grateful for her time and honesty.

5 stars isnt enough. Karen was so helpful initially giving my instruction on what to do regarding my issue. I then spoke to her assistant who called me back on 2 occasions to go through everything with me in lamens terms. Making it clear where I stood. There advice is unparalleled. Amazing service.

For those people hoping for success in an Exceptional Hardship case from my experience the case hangs on two things . 1.The choice of advocate and 2. The willingness of the magistrates to listen to your case. My solicitor used by PL was excellent but the Advocate was poor, did not present the case well and went down an approach that was against the view of the solicitor . Even in the selection process of the advocate I felt the choice of advocates was poor and there was no measure of their success rate. The magistrates did not seem to take into account any of the information provided so if you’re in the Bath area you have little chance of success . Don’t be fooled by the success rate claimed by PL because the use of the advocate is key.Oh and by the way it took 18 months to get to court be prepared for anguish and disappointment.
