Not geared up for collections and same…
I live locally so as I wanted it quickly went to pick it up but they’re not geared up for collections. Also same price as delivered which is disappointing. I then had the same thing delivered as they effectively duplicated the order. This took a few phone calls to get it picked up. Product was as advertised and met our needs. They have responded to this review.

Good value
Good value. I choose Slimsett mini concrete setts, which I was really happy with. First time laying a single pack to a garden path, really nice product. Used a bolster to cut half blocks by hand to start off a running bond, avoiding need for a saw rental.

Fantastic company to deal with
Fantastic company to deal with , selected samples from Burford garden walling, once received we chose the one we liked and made an order, the delivery company was excellent and very respectful of our property and exact where we wanted the pallet to be put down.
We then ordered another pallet and received the same professional service from beginning to end.
Would definitely recommend this Company

I’ve been meaning to repoint my patio…
I’ve been meaning to repoint my patio for months so after building some new steps i was forced into it. Using pointfix made it so easy I don’t know why i’ve been putting it off. The result looks 100% and hope it still looks as good after the winter.

Quality of the patio paving
The quality of the patio paving was very good. The item was delivered the day before the agreed date which was a little inconvenient and one of the slabs was split in two. However Paving Direct replaced the defective piece without quibble. Happy Shopper.

We have just received our sixth delivery of Garonne pavings, (Contractors Pack) which now completes the project to replace our existing pathways. We can recommend this Company as our experience of dealing with them has been second to none. Paving fine, delivery terrible.
Paving direct itself was fine, very helpful and product as ordered. The delivery company however was not great. Delivery was confirmed on a Friday, including a time and we had called twice and spoken to someone as I was at home from work to receive the delivery. On second call the time was confirmed. 3 hours after the time promised, we rang back as no sign of delivery and we were informed that it had been too heavy for the truck so it wasn't coming. Several issues here - why didn't they know this when they confirmed the delivery time when I rang in the morning, why didn't they plan for this when they were organising the deliveries for the day (it's literally their job), and why didn't they tell us it wasn't coming!? We shouldn't have had to check when they didn't turn up. Really poor. We were able to rearrange for the Monday, but seriously disappointing given working from home arrangements were made.
Also very dependent who you spoke to on the phone, whether they seemed to care or not. One lady was very helpful about trying to find a way to deliver on gravel as others have mentioned in reviews. The other lady we spoke to didn't seem to care at all about the failed delivery. Suggest paving direct have have a word with their delivery folk as it really damaged the overall experience.

Excellent customer service
I asked to be informed when the pack was back in stock and received a message within a few days. Placed an order and had delivery shortly afterwards. Not needed immediately but good to know I’ve got them as they are to extend an existing patio. Service from Paving Direct was excellent.
