It gives me some peace of mind
It gives me some peace of mind, but there is a lot to be desired, both in terms of accuracy and training for use in real situations. Hopefully I won't have to, but I'll try it to find my cat. In a hotel complex, searching is impossible, and the hotels are big. Maybe radar should be added.

Pawfit is the best there is…
When it works Pawfit is really wonderful. But things do go wrong. The customer service is now so much better than it used to be when trying to get a replacement unit.

Had to replace the unit.
After about 2 1/2 years of using Pawfit 3 it lost the ability to receive a strong GPS signal, although it was still able to track my dog's position accurately when the 'find' button was pressed. The Pawfit team were very helpful but the device was outside the guarantee period so had to be replaced, although they did give me a 20% discount.

Excellent product. Occasionally needs a reset (once or twice over 3 years) but clear on line instructions make that straightforward.
Wouldn't be without it.

Intermittent connection
The pawfit connection to my phone is intermittent, so at the times I am trying to track my spaniel it inevitably is not connected. It also requires very frequent recharging.

Pawfit trackers require a strong 4G signal to work properly. Unfortunately, if the 4G signal is patchy this can lead to the intermittent connection problems you have experienced. Additionally, the battery life can also be negatively impacted by poor network signal because your tracker will need to work harder to operate.
Other possible causes of poor battery life include its usage (e.g., using find mode regularly), your pet's activity, and the age of the device.

Wouldn’t be without it
Wouldn’t be without it! We’ve owned a Pawfit tracker for a few years now and honestly I can’t recommend it enough. We’ve bought three, each for one of our rescue dogs and I we are so glad we did. We’ve tried other brands but none have been as good as a Pawfit. Would highly recommend and certainly wouldn’t be with out!

The tracker is excellent
The tracker is excellent it shows just where the dog is at a moment in time so you can at least walk towards the area they are in
The alarm works with my dog and she comes back immediately knowing she will get a treat
We did have an issue but emailed Pawfit and they came back straight away with various suggestions as to what was wrong

Always knowing where your dog is gives…
Always knowing where your dog is gives peace of mind. If they do run off, the find-option with voice call- back allows you to watch their return in real time. I would be lost without it!
