I am thriving since starting my Paws…
I am thriving since starting my Paws Therapy Training and so too is my beautiful black Labrador called Bear.
I am dyslexic and proud to share this , however this is only a recent feeling. The Paws Therapy team were amazing and took the time to call me when I requested , they were so understanding and happy to discuss my learning styles and they went above and beyond to advise and assist me going forward.
I can honestly say this training has been one of the best out of the vast amount of courses I have undertaken in my 35 year career.
I feel no pressure now and I can work completely at mine and Bears pace. Bear had a check up at the vets on his first birthday and I was the proudest dog mum in the world. The compliments were making me want to cry .
Bear is making a huge difference already to so many children , young peoples and women’s lives. I cannot wait for the day we qualify

Super impressed
Super impressed with the process and integrity of this course. The online element is easy to use, exceptionally useful and tests knowledge and learning throughout… the zoom supervision sessions are friendly, and full of useful training info. Fantastic in-depth programme!
I have taken part in many programmes over the years and PAWS are by far the best programme!
The support, information and content is fantastic and it’s such a great community to be a part of.
Not only have I increased my business and personal skills but I have found a company that I can trust and that shares my own ethics and standards in the dog training world (which can be very hard to come by in our industry)
Nici and her team are so supportive and down to earth and the attention to every single person enrolled in the programme is wonderful. They really do invest in people and their dogs!

Thought about it for a while. Was very unsure to begin with but then took the leap! Best decision I’ve made! If you are thinking about it, do it!
Well thought out course. Easy to pick up and do at your own pace. Lots of resources and templates to download for use at a later date. Very interesting and insightful! I understand my dog so much more!
Fantastic community of people who are willing to share their incredible journey and real life experiences!
Highly recommend! And I’m not finished yet… Just waiting for my Fergus to be of age to complete his assessment!

Well structured course
As a Canine Behaviourist I was looking to be able to use my skills as well as having an income which was more predictable compared to behaviour consultations.
The course was easy to follow and assessment feedback was clear, with clear improvements on how to increase your marks.
Supervisor sessions were spaced on different times and days so that they were accessible to all.

Great trainers Great Course good communication great resources online community. Lovely uniform eventually!
Only downside unable to take further training to do school work. Signed up to DTC College which has some Paws tutors. So hopefully in future. Graduation was a bit flat.

As you know, the Certification Programme you've graduated from was created to help you integrate your Therapy Dog into an existing workplace, not into schools as a paid-for service. We're hoping to be able to produce something that will support Certification students in this way in the near future, but qualification level is something we have to consider carefully.
Graduation is tricky as we run remote programmes, but it is something we're working on something really special for, so as soon as it's ready, you'll be the first to know :)

Fantastic support throughout. I have a German Shepard and this training has not only enabled me to teach my dog new things but also taught me to understand my dogs behaviour and to help us to bond. I would really recommend this course!
